As always Aaron, thank you both for all your content. My expectations last year were for 5-7 and thus no bowl game and 6-6 this year-I am thus already pleased twice over. I still think Rutgers is on or just ahead of the rebuild schedule. Would love a 7-5 season or super bonus 8-4 of course this year! On the Banks, at the Birthplace, 1766!
15 years. 40-game losing streak against ranked opponents. We were still in the old Big East at the time when they still sponsored football. And while they were still good themselves also with such head coach, the opponent we defeated that night in 2009 was #23 South Florida 31-0. Don't forget how two years earlier we did the same to them to earn our highest-ever ranked victory in football when they were #2. But this year's homecoming is tomorrow and even with our earlier 4-game losing streak this season, we can still earn our first-ever winning record in the Big Ten this season. But not only is tomorrow our best chance to beat a ranked opponent again, we can face such in our bowl game should we not lose again this season finishing it ranked ourselves!
Main LB run stoppers for Illinois are out of the game. Illinois loses when Altmyer is sacked often. Purdue got to Altmyer also. Illinois WR Room is thin, but top 2 are very good. Rutgers WRs cut well to get open.
Truly, truly, truly the dynamic duo of RU football analysis

If Rutgers hold their form of the last 2 games they win.

Illinois beats teams with losing records, and loses to teams with winning records. We have a winning record, so we'll win!
