    He's extremely fast, he's sensing your intention a split second before you make the move and then releases his energy like a coiled spring! Luckily for Ismet, his teacher has good control, despite the forearm stinger ;-)
    If you move first, you have to feint or disguise the move; even then he could still sense it and move before your attack has a chance to land.
    When you do a lot of sparring, but with some control to avoid serious injury, then it's amazing how much it can sharpen your awareness. But you have to stay relaxed and yet super alert, don't anticipate. There is no time to think, response has to be immediately you feel the threat.

    You don't see head movement a lot in Chinese martial arts... Quite good
