I'm so happy that this video is bringing so much joy to so many people. I wanted to do it, not to gain praise from others or even Kevin, but just as a way to appreciate and enjoy other people's reactions to Kevin. The fact that so many people confess to 'Kevin Face' when hearing him sing means that he's clearly doing something right. People may have their favourites within the group and some just love them all, but Kevin's insane talent is undeniable and it makes me so happy seeing people taken by surprise when they realise what a beautiful voice he has. I've heard his solo stuff but it never ceases to amaze me when I hear him sing. ❤

That video made me cry more than I thought I would and it's so reassuring to see other people reacting amazingly great towards Kevin. That was so touching! Nice compilation. Before Avi left the group, he and Kevin were roommates at home and on the road, So (as I heard from another source) he and Kevin did extensive vocal training which we see has resulted in Kevin developing an extensive rage and tenor.

I love seeing these compilation videos where we get to see peoples reactions to certain singers whether it's a crazy low note they hit or in this case Kevin surprising so many people that had no idea that he could sing. There is someone else here on RUclips that has done similar videos like this. The video they did was of Tim Foust of Home Free hitting his last crazy low note from the "Misty Mountains" video with Peter Hollens. Love love these types of videos. Thank you so much for doing it. So, if you want to hear more of Kevin by himself singing you should seriously check out his solo work. He did a cover of Harry Styles' "Sign of the times", he also did a cover of "As long as you love me" by the Backstreet Boys and a cover of "Down" by Marian Hill. He put all the music together himself using a looper, his Cello and his beatboxing. He can also play the drums too apparently. I would love to see you react to all three of these including one other cover he did which is "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper. He actually did a music video for this one. I've heard it & Imagine, & his solo stuff, but it's just still a surprise when he sings as he doesn't sing a lot compared to the others. He's usually killing the beat. 😊🔥
The end of Imagine Kevin sang well in his chest range, (so not too impressive sounding) tho in the middle of Imagine he does hit more impressive high notes than in Amazing Grace, but it's not as noticible because it wasn't as isolated.
"Kevin Face" is now starting to replace "Mitch Face" as people have gotten used to Mitch's voice, but are just figuring out that Kevin sings amazingly!
It certainly is! As I said, I think it's because Kevin doesn't sing AS often as the others so when he does, it's almost like you've forgotten what a beautiful voice he actually has. He's amazing...they ALL are. ❤️
@@ALittleMoreOfLisa The funniest part is Kevin didn't even think he could sing when he joined Pentatonix. The others heard him singing either backstage or at some point when they were on tour, heard his nice tenor and encouraged him. Avi gave him some quick singing and breath control lessons, and the rest is history!
