I got the same impression, he does this full time as do others, they know what things are worth. I started 3 years ago very part time and I knew they were worth more than 30-50, he shortchanged her, could have given her more. Plus she wrapped them too!

Just because he has some experience in those vases doesn't mean he knows if they are fake or real or even their actual value. When you are inexperienced you are taking a risk with your money every time you make those buys. Fake are not worth much at all and he is in the job of making a decent profit. Again it is NOT a resellers job to tell anyone about their items or the value of them. Everyone has the same ability as a professional reseller. We can all do research extremely easily to find prices. Great buy on the glass Kevin. I was so excited when I saw that glass just sitting on the table. I would have snapped them up too and it would have only been a gut instinct to buy not knowing if they were genuine or not.

I had a vase just like that in my hand a few months ago at a Goodwill for $4.99. I knew it was worth something (I figured maybe $40-50) but it was big and glass and I didn't want to deal with it. I happened to look it up later and kicked myself....And I've been reselling part time for 20+ years. (to be fair, I didn't want to deal with shipping it either, part of the reason I put it back too.)

We're at the dead end of tagsale season here and they've been bad all year. I'd have bagged that glass so fast...all of it! It does not turn up here at all, except at retail. The Fenton factory is actually in West Virginia not Tennessee. I know this because I collect Fenton shoes and have been to the factory in Williamstown WV
Guys, picking is no different than what any retail business does. Buy low to make a profit. Do you really think Walmart or Target pays high dollar wholesale, then sells items for close to the same price? I've seen Commonwealth Picker and others, give more than what people asked because they knew the true value of the product and did not want to rip the seller off. These are yard sales and people normally are just glad to get rid of their stuff.

No. there are viturually zero beanie babies worth money. There are at least some funko pops that are still worth money. I woudl say that 95 percent of funkos are worth picking up unless they are dirt cheap.
