Episode 1: Goodbye Perth, it's time to hit the road

This episode shows our final weeks in Perth, leading up to the drive away from our apartment. As you may have figured from our videos, both of us were feeling very overwhelmed and going abit mad in our final weeks but as soon as we hit the road, it felt like we left our stresses behind.
We arrived at our first proper location the second night after leaving Perth, as you can see, we lied to you all and we decided to head south instead of north. This was a decision made a few months ago, which we heavily debated several times. It was finally decided when we saw that until the week before our arrival, Esperance still had amazing weather, so we took that as a sign to head down. We had only been to Esperance together once, so it didn't seem right to not visit it one last time and say goodbye to the South-west.

Thanks for the tips and we are working on it! We hoped to get away with the audio for a little longer, because it didn't seem to be an issue on our phones, laptops and TVs but thats ok :)
The best time to head north of WA and cross into NT is now, when Gibb is open and the rain isn't as bad. For south of Australia and the east (Vic etc) the warmer months are better to drive across. Rain and colder weather are not ideal in a rooftop tent haha.

Are you guys doing a lap?! If you are and DON"T have a timeframe, Just take your time. Don't be in a hurry to cover huge miles each day. You'll miss too much and regret it later! how often will you be posting? Once a week or...?
Hey hey! Thanks for the comment ☺️ We are only doing the top half for now, as it’s too cold and wet for the southern parts of Australia at the moment. Our little trip south-west was kinda rushed as we needed to be in Perth for a family event but now that we are heading north, we are taking it ALOT slower. We already have some regrets about how fast we rushed the southward journey but it was unavoidable 😢 We are aiming a video every two weeks but that might increase.
please don't move your camera to fast it makes us very dizzy slowly would be great and its hard to hear when your talking in the car cheers
