I simply did it. Just play, and then quit (and wait for hours),and come back. (Only works checkpoint 2 part 2 onwards)
some random guy you don’t need to wait hours. You can just quit and slide on smash hit until it’s gone, and go back in, and voila!

It depends on what half you are put in. Any checkpoint -> 5-3 is the most glitched transition I have seen. Does this also work for 5-2?
