Thanks for watching and for all the feedback, folks! This little show is turning into something we're very proud of. If you are enjoying the series, please subscribe, then share and talk it up all the day long. Hoping there are a lot of other folks out there who would love to discover this thing we call RESTRICTED. We purposely put lots of fun footage over the end credits, so you won't bail when we start thanking people. Lots of awesome guys and gals have jumped in to make this series happen. For this episode in particular, Matt Crane and I wanna thank Alex Scheer-Payne who helped tirelessly not only with the episode, but with the big Episode 3 launch event at our secret headquarters. Also, many thanks to the bands Washers and BBQT (pronounced Bar-be-CUTE-ee) for playing at the shop and on the screen. And to composer Bill Grishaw for many selfless acts of musical kindness throughout the series so far. Stay tuned for the next episode, which we hope will not take as long as this one, but who knows. We gotta take care of our day job first. TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT RESTRICTED. They'll either thank you for it, or think you've lost your mind. - John Ryland @ Classified Moto
classifiedmoto hey I think I saw John in a Ford Explorer hauling a scrambler project bike near Strasburg on Route 81 it totally had knobby tires and gold Forks last week wanted to give a thumbs up wasn't sure if it was you or not.. you guys are great keep the videos coming the video about Frank is one of my all-time favorites
Wow! I have zero prior interest in bikes but am fascinated by the storytelling and cinematography of these videos. They invoke a sense of nostalgia in the memories I would have if only I had ever grew up with a motorized childhood friend.
I have honestly watched this video more times than I care to admit. This bike has inspired so many builds, including my future build. You guys do some great work. 🤙🏼
So well done! Another great one, and well shot Matt! We are happy Sena get's to help support you guys, and jealous the Sena 10C got to go for a wheelie ride on Junior. Great job guys. -Alyssa
I really want to learn how to wheelie but my forks aren't gold and i can't TIG weld...should i just give up? Thanks for the amazing series. I cant wait for #9!!!
Cool video! Owned a number of big bikes, I was looking for a CT70 (ST70 - Dax) or Z50 as a playbike and learn wheelies on, and I came across this vid. I am the same age as you are! Why are CT70s so good to learn wheelies on? Weight? Low center of gravity? Low seat?
@@CharlesLogstonInTexas Hey thanks for the reply, for some reason I missed the notification. These were my thoughts too. Low height, long seat to sit back, etc. I wonder how it compares to a z50 monkey for wheelies, which is even smaller but with a smaller seat, or a pit bike. I think I will try one of those this summer, as I have the same dream... :)
Iv been trying for 2 years to wheelie had a ct70 for past year and getting close. But I still can't use the rear brake properly, both legs fly out everytime I go past balance point. Haven't crashed yet somehow... I don't understand how people control wheelies with the rear brake haha
I owned a 1977 ct 70 with and looking all factory original, with brand new parts , just bought me a 1979 ct and I want it to look super cool , bigger tires and motor
Man, it would've been sweet to be the $6m man in my scary dreams. I can never manage to get away from the monsters, it feels like I'm stuck in place and no matter how hard I try to sprint they still get me.
This video made me want a ct70. ended up picking up a chinese clone (street legal) for $500. can't wait to swap in a bigger engine and inverted forks👌🏼
Belive me buying chineese bikes will make you using more your tool box than your ride. But the good side of that, it will give you the rush of that insane buzz of riding minis. From experience I could tell you to Buy HONDA's only! It's better starting from a solid base because chineese stuff is giving you for what you paid for. I know what I'm talking about because I did what you are going to do. Because even if you inject 3k $ into that in mods. At the end it will even stay a chineese bike. You know there's lots of dudes out there riding that but it's my opinion and I'm only sharing my experience with you and belive me I spend so much cash into that hobby that I'm not going to tell you how because you'll not belive me :) I'm not a hater in any sense then have fun and I hope you're not going to take my comment on the bad side. Also the fact that I'm french and writing in english is not my cup of tea doesn't help to translate what I really mean even if I'm trying my best to make a comment that I hope at the end you will understand something. You know the goal of riding minis is to ride with your friends and riding everydays & everytime you can. Even when you're tierd the group have an effect on you and you will ride whatsoever. It makes me thinking that when I'm born in '77 there was already that blue CT 70 around me lol.... It toke me long time to be able to ride that because the seat was so large and been kid and looking at that asking my self how the fuck I'll be able to ride it :) That's a funny story from the past that suddenly flashed in my mind that's so cool to remember that. Sorry I know that's a weird comment section segment starting from your bike order. Peaceout! & do whatsoever the fuck you want and the most important: " Ride or Die! "
Nice production I would have liked to know a little more about the bike and the build but I love you guys' series can't wait for the next one

This is probably the best video on wheelies the internet has ever seen.
Haha, thanks dude! They're certainly not the best actual wheelies, but we'll take it :)

Tiny motorcycles, wheelies, no helmets, no cops, damn I love this country.
There's always cops. I make some noise and the next circle I make there's already a cop watching.

Nice video. I am almost done with a restoration project on my 1974 CT70. Can’t wait to ride.
