The exterior photo shows a small set of windows above the porch but you don't see windows in the living room photo. How did they manage to have cathedral ceilings with gables toward the front and rear of home in the living room when the roof line is going in opposite direction in the exterior photos. I'm asking because we're interested in this floor plan if we can have the same vaulted ceiling as in this video/photos.

Do the plans come with a step by step guide? It's not just floor plans, right?
They are the full set of construction documents, not just a floor plan! That said, construction documents are not a "how to build" guide and you should have an understanding of how to read blueprints. Some experience in construction or home building is necessary to build your own home, though you can be your own general contractor if you're looking to save money! There are endless resources on RUclips and in your library where you can lean more!!
We suggest working with a builder, or general contractor if you don't have any experience... or have a full time job and want to complete your project quickly! 👍🏻

Cost to build will vary based on your location. Ballpark figure is somewhere around $130-$150/SF, it's possible to be done for less.
@@architecturaldesigns I know its a year later but we are planning on building this house and were quoted $250-260/SF by multiple builders. We are in IL.
Pantry is not in same place as plan
I've been studying this house plan and I did see a glimpse of the pantry as shown on the plan but the videographer did not go inside. It appears the part of the pantry they did show was where you would potentially go downstairs into the basement - that space was made into another pantry.
