Let's be honest sure Doublelift has an ego and can be cocky, sure maybe he has some alternative motive for saying all the stuff. However none of the shit he's saying is wrong about Reginald, so I don't understand how people can defend Reginald LOL and call Doublelift a drama queen.
After watching these Regi clips, as much as I dislike DL, I believe him. Regi legit makes everyone so fucking uncomfortable on a personal level.
@@alexios723ladikos DL also acknowledged in his Travis interviews that even though Regi is tough, but was a "great friend to him and went beyond to help him out" before his second run with TSM. So now we have people bringing up 8 yr old videos that support DL, ignore other videos that contradicts DL's point, and now he brought in all of the Ex-TSM members from the old videos to get grilled by social media because they actually defended Regi instead of siding with DL.

Bro the clip at 16:00 you can see Regi reveling at being argumentative, he is just smiling every time he argues, then stops as he waits for response, then smiles as he keeps going when no one is even talking.
He keeps hounding these arguments too and you can tell that everyone who enters these fights just realise halfway that its just gonna keep going in circles and they just say "Yeah sure" and Regi thinks he's come out on top and given permission to berate and talk down on them.
I remember watching the Dyrus clip back in the day. I've thought very little of regi since and quite frankly, I'm glad that his behavior is coming up once again in the community. Dude is a jackass, and his pro career was hardly notable. HIs biggest achievement is founding the org, and really even that is a debate of being in the right place at the right time (founded his team at the beginning of lcs when it was a lot cheaper to do so). Allowed the org to accumulate the funds they needed to fully franchise when the LCS opted for that model. Bullying is being called out in pro sports, look at the old clippers owner and now the suns and even the chicaco blackhawks. Power shouldn't be a greenlight to belittle employees and treat people like shit.
Yeah that clip is iconic because like, Dyrus is a non-confrontational person, you even see it immediately where he apologizes instead of continuing the argument and Regi just keeps hounding him over it till he snaps, and Dyrus RARELY snaps if ever.

It sounds like Parth/Doublelift are talking about two different timings. Perhaps Parth wasn't aware about Regi's conversation with DL. So Parth thought DL was "indecisive" until the last minute, while DL felt he was forced into making an early decision. There must have been a bit of time between the time DL is talking about (with only him and Spica on the roster) and when Huni and POE were signed (right before the Lost trade was set to go through). During that time, only Regi knew what was going on with all parties.
Edit: Ohhh Leena's statement makes sense. Parth and Regi are talking about when DL called after Swordart and DL is talking about when Regi made him commit/kicked him much earlier.

I think that part is more true than people want to believe. If Berg wanted DL on the team, DL would of been on the team. People are forgetting that he quit on TSM prior years, which I don't think Berg was too happy about. DL getting kicked is nothing new. Aprhromo and CLG kicked him, CoreJJ and TL kicked him. Each kick, DL was one of the best adcs, so it wasn't based on talent.

None of us are saying the dude is a great player to work with because he more than likely isn’t but I’m sure he knows the situation at TSM better than most mainly because Leena is the president of the company and she doesn’t shy away from talking about their business agreements with him(Dardoch situation)
@@mythnk1204 There is literally no difference. CLG had Styxy, TL had Tactical... TSM had Lost. Lost was one of the best ADCs out of Academy and not a far reach for TSM to follow TL's footsteps of kicking DL and bringing in their Academy player.

Around 22:00 I remember telling a chick in my class I didn't want her in my group cause she's inconsistent and she just started bawling. I still remember that day vividly so idk how regi can make numerous people cry and just be ok.
I'll never forget making my younger brother cry one time when we were all having fun out in the snow, I was trying to push him slightly down the hill into the snow but misjudged and he fell a lot harder than I meant to push him, sprained his wrist and we had to go to the hospital. Yeah I barely remember that day because my mind has blocked it how, I just remember thinking how terrible it felt.

I'm 2 minutes into the video posting this, Doublelift just said "It would be my personal pleasure to see TSM never win anything again" and immediately became my favourite NA player of all time.
Them saying different things about people being/not being locked in might also just be a result of Regi and other TSM management not communicating with DL so both could be true. As far as DL knew, there was no certainty of a mid and top-laners but in reality they had certainty but didn't communicate that to DL

Regi isn't the product of abuse he is the product of coming from nothing with some sheer luck in a micro spec of entertainment and becoming a CEO of one the OG esports orgs worth close to 1 Billion dollars. This has resulted in the single biggest ego in the scene with excess in droves, I feel fairly confident he is a first generation abuser, He knows he has power over everyone around him and sees them as beneath him, always pushing people in the wrong way too see what he can get away with rather than to spark a even more fierce flame to fight on. He is never wrong even when there is overwhelming proof that he is the issue or is wrong; I.E The Blame Wildturtle clip - xSpecial tries to point out that the last death by turtle wasn't the losing point but that the various mistakes and devolving play across that match did it in, especially when you see a moment from the same game where Regi flashes over the enemy base wall as Karthus and immediately dies in typical inting league fashion that you'd see in d4 ranked, it wasn't going to be TSM winning that one but would rather resort to arguing that 'yOuR WrOnG cUz iM tHe OwNer aNd a BetTeR PlAyEr.' 'Say another word against me and your off the team.' He steps in as coach during playoffs and ultimately ruins a happy top tier high chemistry team and turns them into depressed group of un-coordinated zombies and then has the balls to say team diff my players are ass or coach diff draft was the losing point of the game. There is no way that even if we could see through his eyes and mind for a day that ANYONE with a good conscience will ever be able to justify why Regi isn't a Egotistical Douche canoe pissbaby that needs a good beating IRL to check his un ruled ego.

When Andy spoke to doublelift, he left out that they had a top and mid on contract so doublelift decided to not commit to the team since that was the info given to him. Andy def wanted DL off the team so he left some stuff out. Ofc parth is going to say all these things about doublelift because he wants to keep his job and Andy is his boss.
Of course he left things out. He told DL that SwordArt wasn’t going to happen and then TSM signed SA after DL didn’t commit.

I never liked TSM because of the Fact Regi is stepping in their playoff everytime, I hate this attitude of I can do better than all of my staff, I didn't knew it was that bad, I believe 90% of the things DL said are, maybe the Top/Mid is incorrect but the rest of the things he said, are probably accurate, also if Bjergsen chose to leave the ORG, there had to be an internal conflict I don't believe he would've chose to leave so lightly.

Man I've been in the scene from the beginning. It was so easy to love TSM. I mean they were the best. But I don't think we fell in love with Regi.
We loved Dyrus and TheOddOne, we loved the Doublelift vs. ChaoX rivalry, we loved seeing Turtle get a Penta in his first professional game because Chaox shit the bed at MLG Dallas.
Me personally I hate the bandwagon and Voyboy had just got Olaf nerfed so it was always Curse for me... but TSM was not hard to like.
Curse was easy to like. Hai and the gang... Quantic's run (later C9) was epic. They were easy to like. The Rush Hour bot lane was easy to like. It was fun to support NA leage despite the lack of international success.
But no... it was never easy to like Regi.
Not only did Liquid's back to back to back to back finally remove TSM from the absolute top. It began the end of an era. That era where TSM was going to worlds... Who's going with them?
This drama is honestly just icing on the cake.
I do think that TSM is about to have a huge dive. I hope they treat Spica well. He really is a great player.

Professionalism isn’t just about showing up on time and checking off work deadlines, you can’t impede other peoples work no matter what position you have within said company and that goes for indecency too. I wish we as older generations would protect our young from predatory businesses in teaching them their rights and how to navigate the world as a freelancer.
I genuinely thought Svenskaren was a bad jungler back then but it makes so much sense he was just underperforming because of Regi bullying at that time because he always surprises me in the last few years often carrying his team and is really a good player since. In the end, there an ego and there's being oppressive to the point of affecting someone's mental health. Regi needs to not be in a position of power where he can do this
That's why Regi is Talent Suppression Machine boss, anyone that enters TSM no matter how good and talented they are once they become Regi's mental abuse victim they'll no longer be the same

I've been a TSM fan since season 3 (because of TheOddOne, initially) and I've always fkn hated Regi, especially as an owner/manager. It's so frustrating watching the org with the players I love getting so horribly mismanaged by a child with an inflated ego. If the team were run by adults, they would have damn near won worlds by now. It always sucked listening to Thorin shit on the org and having to be like "yeah he's right". I've been frustrated for ages but cutting BB literally made me stop following pro league, for the most part.
I met and spoke to Regi's older brother when he was casting MLG Raleigh and he was polite, well spoken, super cute and confident. All of these create a standard Regi can't live up to and that creates an inferiority complex and hostility. Regi uses manipulation, berating and constantly harass/play on people's weaknesses in order to make up for his deficiencies. He's an abuser.
