We had lunch on the back porch. It was a beautiful view. KFC from the original location, potato salad, fresh corn, baked beans - by Me! Janette provided birthday cake and fresh strawberries with pound cake and ice cream. Couldn’t have been better! Wish we could have video’d that scene. Thanks to everyone for coming to our party…..❤❤

One thing none of y’all have lacked, generations forward, is self confidence. That was something deep Rooted and southern. I grew up with it. It’s good that you still have the family and community support system intact. Once it breaks down, look out! It’s slowly ( maybe not as slowly as I’d like) going away. I’ve seen and loved it. The older I get, the more I worry about 2 things. Running out of & $, and running out of the family and friends who know/knew me, and I’m left the last woman standing from that generation.
