I just put a driver in a 2019 567, I changed the exhaust to 8” added full light package, and a bow tie dropped visor, full painted to match fenders, the damn truck came out looking just sharp as hell. This is the only non 389 I have an it looks damn good with a lil effort and some aftermarket goodies. Let’s hope he takes care of it. Also went with the same specs.
We put them in fleet trucks and day cabs. When stocking trucks, I get about 7-10% request currently for Automated. However, they are growing on me. Why 18? Because the minimal up charge makes them more usable in more markets. Better to have and not need rather than need and not have my friend. You don't have to use all 18 gears :)
I hope they continue to make that style of the that truck I like the 567 its definitely a awesome truck I use to drive as a heavy hauler but never got the chance driving a Peterbilt truck I use to drive the Kenworth W990 with a 18spd peterbilt is a awesome truck

I keep hearing this talk about the 389 possibly being replaced and I thought that if it was true than Peterbilt was gonna do something like what Kenworth has done with the W990 and use this cab and sleeper, just with a long hood like the 389. I was thinking a new Peterbilt 589 or 599, maybe? I guess time will tell if Peterbilt will go that route and offer this truck as a long hood model. This truck looks like it would ride and drive smooth.

Can the 567 be ordered with the stacks rising up on frame mounted brackets behind the cab so you get the full benefit of the air ride cab without being hindered by the solid to the frame exhaust pipe brackets like some earlier 389 set ups?
Yes, in some configurations, we can put the stacks up the back of the cab. The stacks up the side are free floating independently and don't hinder the travel of the cab and sleeper air ride system👍 I do suggest keeping the mounts greased so the grommets don't squeak. Great question!
While I do love the old school look of the 389 and of course the Kenworth W9s, I do believe if I were to find myself in the market for a new truck this Pete 567 would be it.
How many gauges can you get on the nav system and if you buy a truck that doesn't have all the gauges you want can you do a software update and put more gauges on ?

I think they have come to a great design of the 567. Modern and streamlined for fuel economy, but still a fine thouch of 'classic'

Why do you put 18 speeds in everything. How about automated or 13 speed or 10 speed. I just think 18 speed is over kill.

That with an Ultra Loft, two 150 gallon tanks, an APU, cab cooler in a nice dark blue and you just couldn't get it better.

The 389 is not going anywhere... Whoever keeps saying that is going to get into trouble. If you believe that is true, you better buy a dozen! :)
Yeah right. Probably 4 out of 5 new trucks hauling cows and running the oil fields are 389’s.
