@@BigBrothar It’s not that quiet car. In person, I got use to it quickly…doesnt bother while driving. I am very sensitive to loud noises, so it’s not bad. Cabin noise level is tricky without direct comparison. Tires and road conditons of course have big difference, but gives good indication. I took videos with same camera set up with Renault Talisman before…for comparison.
@@BigBrothar Yes, I also have 6 speakers system. I find audio quality good, better than expected. Compared to Renault Talisman which had 9(?) speakers of I remeber correctly (but no subwoofer); Renault had better surround and setting, best audio for front seat was to set audio to middle of backseat and I had to set up bass and treble too. For clarity of sound I think Honda is better though and I’m still using base settings (I tried changing bass, treble balance, but default was overall best). Honda also has better radio, signal and audio quality. It was mentioned that antenna is at shark fin on roof instead of side window…not sure if it correct. I have heard HR-V’s best audio system is excellent. But that reduces already small trunk a bit 😅 Would be nice, but I have been very pleased with my 6 speaker system.
So most of the time the car was able to recognize only the right lane (which was displayed in white). Does the car keep in the middle of the lane in such condition? Does it at least try to stick to the right lane OR is it of no use unless both lines are displayed in green?
Good question. It seems to keep quite close to right (continous white) lane, not too close on the right (probably preset distance from white line if only one line is recognized). So it’s still worth keeping it on. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Problems in cold outside temperatures? No, haven’t got any problems yet. This is coastal area, so lowest is typically only about -20 C. At least last winter only once issues with 12v battery, just needed bit of recharge.(Since that software was updated and now 12v battery seems to hold charge better). Other than that, no issues yet. Car always start (even -20C cold start), every system works as should, aircon / heater is very good (really warm car), doesent get stuck to snow easily even its only FWD, good to drive in snow, consuption stays low (not too much increase in consumption). Overall I rank this and Subaru XV are the best winter cars I have had (HR-V is better in any other way, except XV is AWD. Both are good in daily drive, but you can really go almost anywhere with XV since its proper AWD (not FWD with small electric motor on rear diff)). Where I am originally from, -30… -35 C at least few weeks a year. I had Lexus CT200h when I lived there. I had once trouble cold starting engine at -32C, engine run on 3 cylinders. I shut off and restart…and run well. Lexus had similar, small increase in consumption at cold, maybe slightly more increased consumption than HR-V (on similar temperatures, -20C). But other than that that Lexus was not as good winter car and got stuck more easily.
@@jonibeebeesplaytime Thank you very much for your detailed answer. I live further south, but sometimes we also have frosts of -25. I hope everything will be OK.
@@Kopernik777 You’re welcome. Forgot to mention, both Lexus CT and HR-V have air cooled batteries. I didnt have issues in cold with that on Lexus (had it few year) and havent got issues with HR-V either. At work place I dont have possibilty for plugging in heater, so make cold start week daily (8 to 10) hours typically outside in up to -20 C (most of time -10 to -15, but humid coastal weather). No issues on first winter, everything works better than on my previous car Renault Talisman TCE150 sedan. On my experience, Japanese car manufacturers take Northern winter conditons seriously on car design and testing is thorough. I still recommend installing engine heater with interior heater, it will be benefitial. Thanks for watching and commenting.
The noise whilst driving is kind of relaxing like white noise! 😴😴
hahaha…yeah, it is. I had few stops and coffee to not get sleepy 😁
@@jonibeebeesplaytimeis it always noisy like this?
