I actually cried when I first heard that the first thing he was going to do as the new president of El Salvador was to " seek Gods Wisdom" , its not something that i have heard a world lleader say and it was truly a blessing to hear him say that he seeks the Wisdom of God to govern his country . God comes first always. I just lost my grandson. He died eight days after his 18th birthday from a fentanyl overdose. I am still in shock I live in Aberdeen Washington, and on my street. There are eight drug dealers selling drugs out of their car to anybody that’s willing to step into their circle There have been so many drug overdoses from minors and there’s a lot of death because the governor thinks it’s OK to have drugs out in the open Around kids

As Bukele said in the video, if a government wants to they can fix things in no time. Delhi India had a rampant drug problem in the 90s, every corner of every market or bus stop you could spot addicts abusing themselves. It was a horrid sight. Late 90s Delhi got a new Chief Minister (Governor equivalent), it took her 2 years but she was able clean the streets of the city in partnership with the police. It’s a problem of will.
I’m surprised in even the current rallies in the US drug problem isn’t even discussed.

But she has already said that Mexico will stick to the tactic of hugs - yep, hugs, regarding the cartels, etc. She, like her predecessors, don't care about the vicious activity prevalent across Mexico. El Salvador’s murder rate was bad but Jamaica’s murder rate was the worst and still is. Jamaica’s is about 52% right now. For comparisons Haitis is around 15% right now.
