    They really need more biomes per planet... very cool videos tho

      It makes sense more on some than others; like no-atmo moons can largely be homogenous terrain, 2-3 different biome types. But anything with an atmosphere, much less a breathable one, should definitely have more.
      That said, Microtech also works as a believable planet, other than missing rivers and such. Haven't seen enough of Bloom to make that determination yet.

      @@FunkThompsonbloom has like 3 bioms. One with yellow moss, one without it with vegetation, one with snow high mountains and also huge lakes

      Also this video does not show well the full bioms of monox, its just beautiful and that's it. It missed 2 biomes

      I'm not sure, maybe they are on one of the outer Pyro planets/moons. Definitely will need to hunt them down next time.

    Man I would love to watch these as true ultrawide videos. Is there a reason why they're uploaded with artifical 16:9 letterboxing?

    • @CaspCic
      @CaspCic 10 месяцев назад

      Cause that's the standard, dude.

    • @CaspCic
      @CaspCic 10 месяцев назад

      BTW, this IS in widescreen.

    • @Luminotik
      @Luminotik 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@CaspCic Right, the video file is widescreen (16:9), but the actual content in the video is closer to ultrawide (21:9-ish). RUclips can handle any aspect ratio, so if the video is uploaded without any kind of artificial letter or pillar boxing, full screening the video gets it as close as possible to filling the entire screen, which would look awesome.

    • @AlphaCitizen
      @AlphaCitizen 8 месяцев назад

      My videos end up the same way when I upload my 21:9 footage to YT as 1920x1080

    • @Luminotik
      @Luminotik 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@AlphaCitizen Sure, but there’s no inherent need to upload them as 1080p 16:9 videos. I upload 3440x1440 videos all the time - they show up letterboxed on displays that aren’t 21:9, but they properly use the full screen on 21:9 screens since that’s what the actual video file is.

    looks great but when will we start seeing polish and optimization for the game in general? if it looks great but runs terribly people are going to loose interest and that will hurt the overall experience.

    The old system was pretty lifeless already so a lot of ppl hoped for a new system filled with life...because this is what this dead ass universe needs. But no....we got a dessert. Cool, thanks chris.

      I mean that is 95 percent of all starfield planets. Server meshing needs to happen before we get more life working.
