This is why I rarely post my losses because usually it’s not a great game as I didn’t so well and got annoyed. You wanted to see an average game where I lose well here you go. -.-

      I’m new to coh and it’s nice to see that I’m not the only one struggling against certain types of tactics. This community is one of the most whiny toxic communities I’ve ever seen. BUT you can help by bringing new players in and helping them with videos like this! Please continue to focus on bringing people in and helping them have a fun experience. Don’t focus on the grumps that currently rule the online community for this game.

    In the current patch, as DAK I usually get that 1 half truck (sry bad at remembering name) and try to convert it to auto cannon asap since it is good early game also give bonus to DAK infants. It is cheap too, 150 manpower to upgrade in HQ + 60 ammo that we usually don't use more than 1 flamethrower anyway. The hard part is to keep them all alive with less number and fight with neither grenade ability nor map control. After that I need to get that call in 2 light tanks using 2 command points and get 2 flame mini-tanks with another 100 ammo cost (or get AT unit asap if they didn't spam more rifles + paratroops coz they gonna get some meta light tanks for sure).
    P.S. i'm a noob so maybe this is a bad idea but I think you can adjust and play it out well. hope this helps.

      I used to do this, but then they start to spam Anti-tank rifles or bazookas + MGs, this halftrack become useless.
      As DAK, you have almost no option left. I wait to get mortars in halftrack if the enemy spams mgs, or do some militia warfare with infantry while i cry in the field. XD
      Enginers with flametrowers is also obsolete now against that tatics, they have more weapons and infantry to use at early game.
      DAK infantry- 300
      USA infantry- 260

      Guys... Build for kfz 250 is:
      -Motorcycle
      Depends on the map...
      -Kfz-250 or infantry
      -Infantry or kfz 250
      -Tech upgrade, and armor upgrade for kfz 250
      And adapt
      Other builds I made are:
      Motorcycle + 2-3 Pgrens + kfz 250, tech up and then adapt.
      It even possible to rush twin tanks, befor UKF can get second AT boy upgrade, if you cut of munitions.
      Or motorcycle + only one italian + kfz, then adapt, but assault grenadiers can be good here.
      You need to make kfz befor teching up, otherwise allies have too many units.
      Ah, and this twin tanks are weaker with their flamer. Don't upgrade them with it. The range of 20mm camon is insane.

    Yea I said same thing dak early game sucks. Thought the quicker pgenaders would help, but not much just means u have to wait longer to start building next unit. As the 300 cost takes so long wish dak started with a little more manpower to help with early game.

    This was more a showing of DAKs design issues than US being overpowered. They lack buildable infantry AT to keep light vehicles in check and their early game needs work, but hans deserved that loss. He messed up horribly when the easy 8 finally arrived.

    My issues with DAK is that Panzerjagers are pretty weak, especially compared to their allied counterpart the Boys AT. I really wish they buffed/ changed their ability for them and made them buildable from base, not a call in. And make it so you don’t need to buy the upgrade to produce Anti tank guns. Marauders or tank call ins are really the only AT option for DAK.

    I can't help but feel everyone is so dramatic about the balance in either faction. Even in the discord it's filled with people moaning about it.
    There's always room for improvement in the game's balance, but the level at which people say it's broken is straight up childish.
    If you had checked the last balance changes for DAK you would know none of the changes should be affecting Hans' early game. In fact, the changes should've aided him. Riflemen 'pour it on em' was nerfed. Pgrens build faster. Marders got lots of buffs and ninja buffs too.
    People just love to whine...

    Nah, it's DAK that's kinda weak now due to all the upgrade nerfs. The two vehicle defense nerf shafted DAK vehicle hard. 250 is even more vulnerable now. Those vehicle upgrades are the only things kept DAK's late game going. Stock Panzer IIIs are nearly harmless nuisance without those old upgrades. And DAK Tigers are just prohibitively expensive and high pop cap to ever be factored into your overall strategy.

      The brits are nerfed worse now, much worse. The boy section is nerfed to the ground, there are not many infantry alternatives that are meaningful and the good tanks take too long to roll out and light tanks are all hot garbage

      the real problem for DAK's performance in 1v1 is the weak pgs. They are marginally usable when you got all the techs, but those are quite expensive manpower wise. You either suffer from a weak early game until you have at least one 8 Rad or rely on Italian infantry.

      @@bro3217 As someone who plays DAK and Brits at a high level... I switched to Wher and USF after the patch. DAK is still ok in 4v4, but is progressively worse the smaller the game is. Brits are still ok in 1v1, but get progressively worse the larger the game is. Wher and USF are on another level. And they actually feel reasonably well balanced to each other.
      2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 is all that really matters though. Most people play these game modes, with more people playing 4v4 than any other mode. Very few people care about 1v1 at all. Working with a team, and the additional skill, strategy and tactics required for teamwork, is what makes the game fun for most people. Most people aren't billy no mates playing 1v1.
      So given that. Yeh, Brits are the worst faction in the game right now. Because they are worst in the game modes most people actually play.

      @@Ashrit141 HAHA, who the hell do light tanks or tech structures as UKF. I play a lot of 1vs1 and almost every UKF picks broken call ins, and skip tech.
      DAKs Pjagers are nerfed too, and there are 1-2 of them, when you can spam as many AT boys as you want, and still deal dmg to infantry.

    Your build did almost 0 dmg early on to USF... You made HMG vs their vehicle, pointless. Thanks to it, USF could skip medical tent, snares (no kfz 250), double bar (no infantry push), bazzokas and HMG (no infantry spam or upgraded KFZ - armor vs small arms).
    You play DAK, just like WM. With combined arms, you can push back their infantry, unless double bars are made.
    You need to make a motorcycle. If USF made 4x4 or call in car, then you send Pgres at front and cap back point with vehicle.
    vet 1 help you kill enemy infantry a lot and you can do some cut off or recon.
    3xPgrens without tech cost the same as 3x riflemans, that`s why you don`t rush tech as DAK.
    I would like to play 1vs1, to show you. I will be DAK and you USF.

    recently i just make bersarlieri straight up from minute 0, another pio and bersaliergi. After I get 1cp i fall back, regroup and with 3 bersal and 2 pio i can do something at least. Rifles are super strong right now. With nerfs to DAK vehicle upgrades they feel useless late game, way to fragile. I end up building just marders cause they are still working as they should.
    From standard DAK infantry units just assault grens are worth the manpower at the moment.

    DAK early game is a piece of shit. And the final house you only get a medium tank, to get the good tanks as every faction, you have to pay 150 fuel after build everything, wait some minutes, and another 80 fuel for the tank.
    This is ridiculous, you must have a lot of resources and start with the worst early game.

    And old Hans ones said :" mines win games, mines win games" could have changed the outcome totally when that easy 8 appeared. To be more powerful with DAK at the Beginning you should use your command points more early. Especially the Guastatori are very strong against Infantrie.

    DAK needs to have a halftrack out now. There's just no other way to handle infantry engagements early on against the US. No halftrack means no combined arms, and those bonuses are absolutely necessary.

    Oddly enough my DAK manages to get an even or advantageous early game vs USF, then I struggle and throw it as the game progress. I don't know what I'm supposed to do: apparently i can't get enough forces to hold against their infantry and still manage to be prepared when armor comes out.

    I understand you are a great player, but if I may say that I agree that DAK early infantry units at close range are weak, however you should really take advantage of their kar98, which is better at long range. Keeping your distance and forcing them to close gap, meanwhile focus firing the units without cover. This is usually what I do as DAK and I manage pretty well until I can get my hands on rad 8 or stug D, or even an mg is really good at support against allies infantry. gl hf

    I feel like most video I see you post are Afrika corps and you complain about them being weak. Maybe just try more factions out and you'll have better luck? Or is it a "grass is greener" type of situation do you think?

      @@HelpingHans 100%. We call them panzer elite sometimes when we play. I was a PE main in COH 1 as well. Honestly though, PE are way better. There simply is nothing close to the double Panzerschrecks on the DAK.

    Why not just get doctrinal units? Elite doctrinal units from Axis are way better than core starting infantry.
    Why pick the BG at the 13 min mark and not earlier? The guy had magically vetted his Jeep to 1 (meaning he was going Armored BG) so there was nothing to wait for before picking the BG.
    I'm sincereley asking. Am I missing something?

    I just can’t get behind this COH. Sad because I’m a seasoned COH2 player and i have over like 24 days played in Tales of Valor. This game is a reskin of Tales of Valor and it’s graphically unimpressive :(

    I've yet to adopt CoH3 because I'm just not impressed; guess I'm waiting for either a steep discount, or a lot of improvements. Of all things to complain about, though, one thing that still annoys me the most is the DAK adjutant's voice, or the guy telling you about proximity alarms, points, etc - it's the most effeminate, crying, whiny voice in any of the CoH voices. Compare to Blum in CoH1, or the stoic voices in CoH2, and it's just nails on a chalkboard to me. Love what you're doing on the channel, but man, I'm really starting to think this game will never meet my expectations.

    Allies early game will always win, so you need to persevere and make the most of lil units so u can save manpower for upgrades and buildings. It’s probably good to go bike early in 1v1 cus all u want to do is stall til mid game and manipulate there movement on the battlefield so they don’t take everything from you. Pioneer still good but not alone, mid game they will help you with holding your points with mines since u been stocking up the early game. But around 7 min is when u want to get ur first marder cus they will oppress you with early light tanks. And u don’t got AT infantry other than the shitty jaeger call in which is only done in desperation. But you can start to turn the tides with 2stug then second marder and play smart. That commander choice late game was trol tho. Should of went the battle mech where you get better cannon and loiter. Especially if u held out for that long. The command you took was early game. And the tanks suck mid game. Marder best anti tank.

    Sherman being upgraded with a 76mm turret is totally unrealistic. Tanks were and are still produced with the turret they have. Just because of this, this upgrade should be deleted.

      just like penals in the old days with flamethrower upgrades and sticky tank satchels, you cant have a very good anti inf and very good anti tank inf in the same unit.

    DAK is weakest fraction at the moment. Expensive and useless infantry in early game. And after newest update, they struggle in mid game too.

    Tbh the E8 was only fighting light vehicles at that one moment. Thats how it should the fight should look like. The dude sand bagged alot until he could get E8 as you could see that hans was getting momentum back mid game. Also has an insane cannon wich makes its accuracy better than any tank

    IMO one reason DAK struggles particularly right now is the lack of the option to get a machine gun at the start, unlike every other faction. Machine guns are ridic strong right now. But of course there are other shortcomings laid out by other commenters.

      2 vet 2 riflemen coming from mid range with double BARs and nades and closing in against 2 vet 1 PzGren with only 1 upgrade. The guy had spent 200? mp, 55 fuel and 60-120 munis + 30 for a nade to win that kind of engagements. Rifles are mid-close units and DAK's PzGren are long range.

    USA is very strong atm - but It also cannot be said Americans overpowered was the main deciding factor in this video.
    The USA overpowered in the early game = true.
    The issue was the middle game & the middle point fight:
    1.) Being pulled into a short-range USA infantry fight, against DAK infantry, between buildings - not a good atrittion fight for DAK infantry atm
    2.) Concentration of force not achieved. He poked & prodded with decisive concentration of forces around the middle point, while your forces tried to cover/ defend on all 3 sides around the middle point at the same time - all while trying to take the middle point --> your forces couldn't be concentrated (divide-&-conquer).
    3.) Tactical/ micro mistakes & lack of mines didn't help. ^^
    A way that might work better - in the middle game, can't do much in the early game:
    - 1 side VP hold (where there is wide lines of sight, where DAK works better) + mine the flanks,
    - just hold in the middle (mines, mines, mines) --> don't go between buildings & don't force yourself into taking the middle VP
    - then build up critical army composition, while harras/ prod & poke the other side VP/ maaaaaybe middle VP
    - only then, once the army comp is built up, decisive combined arms "counter-offensive" in the middle
    No prolonged short-range infantry attrition fight at the edges of middle point, avoid that at all costs - it's not what DAK excells in atm. 👍

      What does DAK excell in?? They nerfed into the ground what dak had going for it. Come on mate, this is getting company of allies. I don't even have a favorite between axis/allies but this is soooo obvious! Wehr is horribly weak since ever, DAK gets nerfed like shit in every patch, eben core units that were never an issue (jagers), while British won't get their stupid blob op infantry worked on and US being buffed time and time again.
      What 'balance' policy is this?

      Boys AT has been nerfed a lot actually. A single Jager squad could wipe out 3 light vehicles with 0 losses easily before they got nerfed. The german win rate was over 80% before due to how effective the units were and the USF were the weakest. They've since been buffed into effectiveness and now german players who didnt need any strategy now have to actually try.

    The economy system in this game is whack. If you maintain even just 30% map control it feels like you already get more fuel than you can spend once you get to the mid/late game.

    Lol, game is finally way more balanced and all the german players are mad they cant Jager Blob any more and take out any tank instantly.

    Honestly i feel like the game is pretty balanced. You can win as all the factions it feels like, though Dak does suffer with not having good mobile AT outside of the marder

      Not much good mobile AT and you'd have to invest in good anti infantry just so your only AT options don't get overrun.
      Most of the time that means investing into an HMG or 8Rad and maybe a StuG if there's too much infantry, then you can safely get a Marder without it being swarmed and stickied.

    Clickbait title, your oppenent used mines very effectively and played better overall. Should have gone for light halftrack in the beginning to counter jeep and buff inf around it, more marders rather than carros and gustatori flamethrower to counter bar infantry and at guns. Your twitch chat kept whining all game it was fun to see. Its like they will never be happy about balancing. All they want is their favorite faction to be OP and others nerfed to ground. Thats not how it works.

    DAK has ZERO reliable AT and since Jagers were nerfed neither do Wehr. They really screwed the balance with this update. This mobile app of a game needs swerving it's atrocious. The animation now for Jagers when 'missing' is a rocket fired at a 90 degree angle to it's target - it's embarrasing.

      @@bro3217 If you can't cripple them in the early game once they get their light vehicles going keeping up with them can be a struggle and armory upgrades ensure their continued effectiveness in the lategame (tanks that self repair and can cap points lmao). The Stug D was already an incredibly strong unit and for some inexplicable reason it got buffed. The Tungsten Rounds nerf was significant, but it still doesn't change the fact that the Marder is an incredibly cost-effective unit. Sure their T3 might be bad but they don't need it.

      but other DAK infantry are too expansiv. 300-320 to loose against 200 MP engenieers XD
