Hey guys welcome back to my channel and for this fun project have fun guys xx a free pattern of the star blanket can be found here by lulu loves crochet www.ravelry.co...
Kyle, I think that I finally have it. Thank you. I was making this with a "stabby" stitch and I just couldn't get the darn hang of the pattern. I have it now. Thank you for such clear instructions. ❤❤
Idky actually getting to see a lefty crochet this is so interesting. You have a very different way of dousing double crochets & I like it. I need this cornering method for a flat granny 8pt star throw.
My sis found your channel and told me about you. I'm so glad she did. Being lefty as well it is so much easier to follow your videos. love the 8 point granny blanket
I love this!! Thank you so much! I’m now in my 3rd blanket with your pattern and I only started in March!! Also, I’m a left handed writer but a right handed crocheter, and a beginner…if I can do it, it’s all possible!!! Thanks again!
Hi! New to your channel. I’m loving how simple you make this. I’m ordering my yarn now to make my daughter a blanket in her favorite colors. You are the first lefty I have seen and I love it. Will be looking for more ideas on your page. Thanks for your hard work!
I have thought of doing a cocoon shrug with 8 point granny square, but not sure how it'll work... This is brilliant that you add corners to the star; I can use that option if the star shrug doesn't work out, or for a good colour contrast !.. So refreshing to follow a pattern done by another lefty too!!
Hi thank you so much for this video. I’m not left handed but found it so easy to follow you. I look forward to watching lots more of your tutorial. I’m hoping my star blanket looks as gorgeous as yours xxx
Beautiful yarn. Where did you say it was bought at? I know you said Turkey but what store? Im right handed lol I can figure out what your doing. I've been wanting to make this one. Thank you for your time.
I absolutely love this! Thanks for making it easy to follow. All of your crochet videos are stunning and unique. Love this channel. I love color as well. Cheers!
I've admired these star grannies...but always thought...what do you even use this for, it's not practical, beautiful, but not practical! Being a sensible gal. I'd watch it being made, but never set about making it. (Watched fiber spider make his). But.....then, while looking for border inspiration for a granny blanket for my granddaughter I find your tutorial for this. Intrigued I watch....amazing!!! Now! I can make a beautiful AND practical blanket!!! Cheers, from east coast, USA!
If I want to keep the blanket as a star without the square corner background, would I just keep going along with the star pattern until I finish at the size I want? Just end it with the third row that skips the middle, and then slip stitch all the way across that last row? Thanks! This video was very helpful
Beautiful blanket and a wonderfully explained tutorial! Thank you so much. How large did your blanket it’s self turn out I have some of this yarn laying in my stash. Thanks in advance. x
I am having trouble with the square around the star. Do you have a written pattern. I am right handed. I got the star but not the square part. Any help.
Hello! Was wondering if you would do a written pattern out for the border around the star? It would make it a lot easier for those of us who have a hard time following the video.
Hey! Thanks for the video! Can I ask how big this ended up please? I want one to finish around 4ftx4ft and not sure how many metres of yarn I will need. Thanks in advance 😊 x
To make sure you get the right size measure from one point across to the opposite point this gives you the measurement , if you use aran or chunky yarn you will need less rows than if you use a dk weight.
I like to get this pattern but it will not download on mykindle I would be willing g to pay for it. I have done a few kaleidoscope Afghan and I like how this starts up as a star. Thank you. Vicki Anderson

Great and informative - I think I will make a 8 pointed tropical island, with a volcano in the middle and a lot of blue ocean around it.
I'm from Libertyville. IL. it's about 30 miles from Chicago. Big town for alittle boy. Love the blanket.

Omg!!!! This is beautiful
I’ve ordered yarn for this today 😊
I am having trouble with the square around the star. Do you have a written pattern. I am right handed. I got the star but not the square part. Any help.
Unfortunately I don’t have any written patterns for my videos x
How many rounds did you do on the star and how many rows did you do on the corners? Those colors are amazing by the way.
Awesome. Be nice if the squaring up was written out. Thank you
A lefties paradise, thank you! 😘
Lovely Do you have this tutorial for right handed people
What size needle and what ply wool. Can you explain how to do the join with missing a hole I can't get it tried so many times
So, do you do each corner separately? I don't understand that part. Please help!
Hello! Was wondering if you would do a written pattern out for the border around the star? It would make it a lot easier for those of us who have a hard time following the video.
Do you have a written pattern for the squaring please
I wiah you would show how to do the border once we finish row 10. Im lost now.
Are you left handed ? Having trouble with getting the border down
So where can I find the RIGHT-HANDED version of this?
Finished row 10- the rest makes no sense to me at all. I'd love to see where to proceed from row 10.

How big (dimensions) did the blanket turn out to be? Thank you

Do you have this in a right hand tutorial
Is there a right hand version
I like to get this pattern but it will not download on mykindle I would be willing g to pay for it. I have done a few kaleidoscope Afghan and I like how this starts up as a star. Thank you. Vicki Anderson
Hey thanks for your comment I don’t have a written version of this and don’t self any other patterns as I only do feee videos xx
I will eventually get it I am determined! Thanks.
What yarn did you use
When I start to make the square corner, mine looks like crap😰. HELP. My star is beautiful but I am ruining it when making the corners.
how many yards for a baby size blanket
Hi I'm right hand but I'm still doing it. Thank you
Think it would be more helpful to do small star to show the squaring off more clearly
I was going to crochet this, but, since im a sight learner, I can't follow a left handed tutorial
Go on spider fibre you tube videos. He's got right hand instructions for the same one.
@@assiyaq4346 thank you ❣️
It's refreshing to see a left-handed crocheter ,thanks Kyle. You do beautiful work.
So do you have a place to go and watch a video of a right handed person adding a border
Selamün aleyküm tigi kullanış şeklin çok zorlu. Daha kolay ve hızlı orebilecegin örme şekli var
A lot of other crochets show both left and right hands
could you please do that if you don't mind
I use my cell on memo mode
désolée mais c est le crochet qui prend le fil , pas la main qui met le fil autour du crochet
I got frustrated and threw it across my room

Thanks you to. Give me the headache with your hands: Right 👎
