That was one fantastic show! Eklips never ceases to amaze me with his stage presence and skill. That wasn't just a great beatbox show, that was a wicked performance!
to get this all straight, there is 2 different kinds of beatbox
show and competition eklipse is a very good show artist but he couldent battle worth shit, peeps saying skiller this reeps one this they are all more skilled than eklipse he is just a performer, but he is good at what he does and brings energy.
I dont think thats a correct way to describe beatboxing, its growing in scene, and is independent of the rap game. regardless of whether its recognised as an art form or not, its not "tolerated" its enjoyed everywhere and is used in variety with other artists to create beautiful music, thumbs up to eklipse, but personally I dont find his beatboxing entertaining, rather amateur really, but yeh for people who haven't heard beatboxing its good to get their feet wet in his act

@Mak Balázs to explain: there are a lot of musicians, choral singers, music students, classical / jazz / acapella fans , songwriter and music professionals. emperor of mic is a part of the vocaltotal festival. So there are people in the audience who know a lot of music. This is also a difference to other battels. For the beatboxer it is a great challenge to performe in front of such a specialized audience.

That's is bad public yeah .. a hall full with beatboxers :D .. first time I listen to Eklips live was like this.. but next time I saw him I respect him so much.. two days after the show in Sofia I had muscle pain.. really cool.. eklips is amazing

to explain: In the interviews with the Beatboxers - they confirm this unique and positiv interesting atmosphere. You think, that the audience isn´t crying and jumping and isn´t enough like a raucous crowd. Yes this is the problem in Austria - because here the people are evaluating the artist turing the performance and then the audience applauds and give the standing ovation. (like in the opera) This is different. The EoM beatboxer like this kind of callenge, knowing that they are appreciated.
Indeed it's great to have a professional audience. 'Cuz you'll work even harder to drop their jaws..
