- Toy version of Star Wars: A New Hope using audio from the 1979 read along story book tape from Buena Vista Records. I know there are already about a dozen versions of this shared online already. I add one more just to display my own Star Wars toy collection.

With the insane amount of new figures, ships and playsets, this can be reworked with more accurate figures and better effects. Id absolutely love to see that happen as this is very charming and entertaining. Very good . thank you for your work.

Not sure what is more hilarious about the medal ceremony: the fact that that figure of Leia is so stacked, or that Luke and Han look like they're staring in disbelief at getting such an eyeful, lol.

Wow, even though this was a simple looking movie I can tell so much work went into it! It's amazing and I can't believe they made a 12 minute audio book story of the movie lol.

This is also really fun to watch with Closed Captions on, where Imperial TIE fighters become 'manual typewriters'. Ha!

Good job. I had been kicking around ideas of doing something similar to this using the NPR radio dramas.
Had the 45 RPM version of this. Also had the Story Of SW and Adventures Of Luke Skywalker, and Story Of Return Of the Jedi(edited audio from the films) on LP and cassette.
Great vid! That obi wan kenobi sounded like the real Sir Alec Guinness in the audio tape.

I didn't know Obi-Wan and Darth Sidious were the same person.
Obi Wan told Luke in the actual movie that Vader was a pupil of his until he turned to evil.

A very good interpretation. And most familiar action figures! I think it is worth being demonstrated to children to show them, that one can be really creative and make a story with their own hands.

I used to have that audio book! That was pretty good, but the acting was kind of plastic.
I still have them all (even "the black hole" and very rare ones like "the gnomemobile" and still listen to them from time to time
I love the vintage feel of the story but a make it more kid friendly, like when he said like was trying to join the rebellion but felt that he needed to stay in the farm. What really happened was luke wanted to go off and join the empire and was being kept on the farm against his will. But overall it’s a good story still
I love this video. The simplicity is certainly present but that's what makes it cool. Also I love the usage of vintage toys instead of newer ones. Great work @dyna74

Wow princess leia! at the end scene :) . I stopped with action figures a couple years before star wars came out. I liked the toy commercials through and I did buy all the posters, albums and bubble gum cards. This is great and thanks for making it.

i use to do that with my star wars toys all the time i use to build star wars sets and bases to play i had a big rebel base under my mom's house and most of it is still there today and i still have this tape and book

I can't find the card backing, but looking online, others say this Obi-Wan was released in the Star Wars Legacy Collection around 2008.
After Rouge One ends, A New Hope begins. These Rebels have real heroes like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Chewbacca. And your favorite Jedi from the prequel trilogy, Obi-Wan Kenobi, who nicknamed "Ben".
This is way better than the Last Jedi..

I once made a 2 min. clip (no sound) in stop motion with Sy Snoodles and the Max Rebo Band, it took me 12 hrs. (no breaks) to make it. I'm gonna try it again soon and i hope this time with sound ????

I was very disappointed in Force awakens, not a big JJ Abrahms fan, and now really not, lol, however the groundwork for the storyline for episode eight was laid down wonderfully, very excited about seeing that one
