I remember the first time I played this game with my brother. This was 6 years ago -- I have 16 years, now. One of the best games ever!

Beautiful game which brings back earlier times, whenever used to watch this. I felt like going inside on mission while playing.
I remember buying a GameCube solely to play this as a huge RE fan since RE1 on ps1. It was some of the best money ever spent. This game was so ahead of it's time.
Still a timeless gem.

I find it funny how Leon acts like his knife is nonexistent when he's out of ammo, yet remembers it when smashing boxes or barrels.

I played this mission differently from you. I killed all the peasants with handgun and knife. I didn't hide in their houses. So after the cutscene when the peasants went to the church, I went in their houses and collected all the weapons and coins :). But I didn't collect the red gems. Thanks for your video. I will collect the gems after watching your video

you missed hand gun ammo, 27:59... classic mistake.. also bell tower didn't climb it...
also you waste to much ammo.. use knife more.
aim shotgun at heads (uses less ammo), when your only battling one enemy. use only one bullet to stun then go in using knife to kill them... also do this with multiple enemies on the ground go in using knife.. just keep slashing..
also if theres lots of enemies its better to have you back against the wall .. so theres only one way in one way out. plus it will bunch you enemies up then use shotgun.

I have this game for ps2, Xbox 360, and my Wii. Personally I think resident evil 4 is the best of the series and the controls for the Wii make it even better. This game has the perfect amount of action and suspense.
Thanks for uploading. I'm a video game voyeur (meaning I like to watch others play video games) and this is one of my favorites, but most of what I'm able to find are speed plays, which I'm not as interested in. I like the scenes and enjoy 100% walkthroughs. Great job!

I love this game!!! :D Leon is my favourite Resident Evil Character 😂 and Ada is sooooo bad arse 😂 and Resident Evil with Wesker (even if it's just a little bit like RE4) is always good 😂 and Salazar makes me laugh 😂 especially when he cries after Leon stabs him in the hand 😂 I played on this game when I was very young like 6 or 7 😂 hahaha 😂 and would always play it on the PS2 😂 then played it on the Wii 😂

A little trick is that you can run towards the enemy and stop immediately, the enemy will believe that you will continue running and launch an attack that you can take advantage of since it takes a while to recover.
Remembered playing this gold back when I was 12 at a mall in my city, and I can clesrly remember this specific mission because I can only play for 2 hours because it was too expensive too pay for more than 2 hours and I would always start at this mission.

just some advise check every thing and take closer looks at areas for example at the village you missed shotgun shells and pistol ammo the shells are at the top of the tower and the bullets are on top of the house at the chimney.
I remember getting RE4 on gamecube and then seeing this poor muddy PS2 version.. Omg

I really wish I can play this again. As I did back in 2005
I got this for my 21st dbay, at first I gave up, cause I couldn't kill or get away from the big mean chainsaw guy. So I just stayed in the alley to the first village, & started shooting enemies from there. They all came to me, but the chainsaw guy stayed in hiding, once that bell went off, they all walked away. This is infact my favorite horror adventure game, it's tough to beat, but they didn't waste their time making it. Most of the parts I hated the most, is when there was a chainsaw guy/girl coming towards me, you've gotta take a missile launcher you them & hope you don't die. The house I think Leon meets the big cheese for the first time, but you go down a flight of steps until you're outside, but down the alley near a cart of something, there's a chainsaw guy there. I got my sniper rifle & stood near the house where he couldn't see me. It took like 7 sniper bullets you take him down, I shot him I the face everytime too. You do a hell'va dealing with the chainsaw, why is it so hard to take him out? You shoot him in the face, yeah sure it knocks him down, but it's like it don't even phase him.
also missed two barrels at 33:39 you can see the side of one just behind the hut with the cart of liquid in it.. at 33:39 just keep moving forward you see them.
im a big fan of the resident evil movies but for some reason i dont really like the games but resident evil 4 thats like my favorite game on ps2 i might get it for my 360
anyone else quit the game after the villagers piled around you over and over and you dident know the controlls lol

The one guy you gotta watch out for, is the chainsaw guy in the village, the other enemies are simple to take out.

philhalo66 first of all, this is an old game, second, this game have amazing graphics, it is not the same to just see it, than playing it. I think is better than current gen games, best resident evil, best game of all time
yico123mw3 I'm well aware how old it is i have the game for PS2, gamecube and the new PC version. If you think these graphics are better than current games you should have your eyes checked. it is the best RE is a long time for sure but its definitely NOT the best game ever but damn close.

I own this game on ps 2 games like this are good games today are not as well done with a great story line and great action maybe it will make a comeback just like tv shows and movies.
There was another chainsaw guy in that village. If you go to the double doors that leads to the farming area it will trigger him and if you kill him he drops a ruby.

I know all the treasures in that part. Step 1 fire the bird in the right you will get spinel. Step 2 fire the two birds in the post see that? Step 3 there's a red herb in grass you can't find it right? Go to the signpost and turn right. And you will see the red herb

I'm pretty sure you have to beat it on professional mode and i think its only on the ps2/wii version of the game.
