Buzzfeed are hilarious like that. Buzzfeed news always talking about how bad Amazon is yet their RUclips channel constantly promotes Amazon
To be eco-friendly is minimising the clothes you buy and limit all unnecessary clothes. It would be a good video if they try to recreate the look using their existing clothes but NOT BUY SOME MORE!!! I must say, things like these are exactly how people get useless clothes and being not eco-friendly

Runway looks are the extreme version of what the designers make. Toned down versions make their way to the store. (While of course a few like those are sold)
It's like concept cars in shows. That's not what's going to hit the streets, but a piled on showcase of a vision for the future. But some of the features make it.
@@recoil53 Depends on the type of show as well. There's avant garde which is not really for pratical use, but more conceptual or for artits and exibitions and then the other extreme is ready to wear show which speaks for it self.. During shows the styling can also make a ton of difference and can make a look very extreme, but when you start to disect you notice the pieces are quite wearable
First, PLEASE DO MORE ECO FRIENDLY ON A BUDGET VIDEOS!!!!! Second, I love the pairing of Vivian and Sean, they are both my favorite!!!! They both have such great fashion sense, and aren't afraid to go the extra mile to create their looks or finish their goals! Plus, they have such bubbly, beautiful and authentic personalities, which makes watching the video even more enjoyable to watch!

Alright everyone who is on here talking bad about what they made keep in mind they did this on their own and put a ton of hard work into it i know full well i could not do anything close to what they did so i applaude their creativity and hard work

I see Viv, I click. BUT it was wonderful to see how they both approached what they wanted. I love a good thrift/DIY video! I think Vivian and Sean need their own show, DIY and Thrifting.
My best friend and i get together and exchange clothes we dont want anymore and i really think is a smart way to get new clothes and get rid of anything you no longer want without harming the environment..
I really enjoyed watching the video ! All of you guys looked amazing with your sustainable outfits! Thank you for talking about fast fashion and showing people that it is possible to save money and look cute by buying from thrift shops !

@@Tori-wt7dy Mass production. Mass consumerism. Fast Fashion. Sweat shops. Etc. They're not very eco-friendly at all. And honestly I use Amazon from time to time but it's really not the opposite of sustainable and is harmful to the environment, the poor (as the people run Amazon are so rich they could end mass famine and poverty) and it's bad the people who work in horrible conditions to make the products.

It's important that we recognize that while we shouldn't support the companies selling unsustainable, mass produced products on Amazon, we shouldn't cancel the platform completely; as a lot of small, local business owners and everyday people sell their goods using Amazon. For example, I bought a used book I needed for from a private seller on Amazon who was selling from home.
I feel like thrifting is catching on though.

Now, I'm not innocent here, I think everyone has participated in fast fashion, and maybe most of his clothes are thrifted or sustainable but I'm seeing a lot of brands there. I just think it's highly hypocritical of Buzzfeed to upload this video and then share a video promoting Amazon, who is the epitome of fast fashion.

Yes it’s very good to shop for more sustainable options in terms of clothing, but at the end of the day, the best is to only buy what you need. Consumerism culture is the bigger problem here!

Sure, a problem with fast fashion is that it is used only for a short time. Re-use helps a lot - it's already bought.
Second hand clothes are clothes that would've been thrown away if not for these platforms that promote less material wastage. It's not directly eco friendly, but it does promote sustainability
