Save all the yankees you get from any packs in the Backup players for later upgrades. It is really tempting to make your lineup all diamonds from different teams, but add yankees to it even if they have a worse ovr. Also, save up on club coins to try to get that T.S. diamond pack from club crafting, that really helps for new teams.
