Wow -- these reviews are so detailed! I think you just saved me some money! Since it appears that I will get twice as much in the Chanel Les Beige Belle Mine highlighter, and it has no visible glitter yet is considerably cheaper, I will stick with that. In terms of new highlighters for us truly pink fair-skinned girls, I am loving the Valentino V-Lighter in Rosa, as it has the same versatility of the others, it almost as pink as the Westman drops or the YSL Nu in Rosy Quartz, and gives a beautiful glow however you use it. I highly recommend it for those looking for something pink and new!
Thank you so much for such an amazing, in-depth review of the new Byredo palette! The swatches and then the close-ups of you while you were applying were really helpful. I think your review is hands down the best out of all the review videos I've seen so far. Thank you again, and the final look is stunning on you! The eye look is so ethereal and beautiful ❤
I swear I can always count on you to bring us the latest releases. Your the only person reviewing this byredo palette. I wasn’t sure about the color story on this one but I think this looks really nice on you. Very sophisticated. ❤
Hi Lexi! Thank you for all these demos and reviews of new luxury items. The Chanel Sublimage Lumière is tempting me quite a bit, for wearing under my tinted moisturizer - and so is the Givenchy liquid highlighter in the light pink. (Lip oils/glosses not my thing.) And the eye palette - I do really like this colour story on you - every shade looks great on you, especially the ochre shade, which enhances your eye colour. If this palette is talc-free, this may explain the sheerness of the shades and their powdery texture. In any case, this palette is tempting me. Thank you for another great video. Looking forward to the next one. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Jocelyne! I personally think the Givenchy is a bit nicer than the Chanel on the skin but that is because of the sparkle in the Chanel. Hermes will be up next! Have a great weekend!
Thank you for your thoughts. That candle sure is special! I had the Byredo in my cart waiting and during the video I went ahead and ordered. I love the look. The Chanel illuminator looks really nice. Great product roundup!🙂
Hi Lexi! Thank You for great review! I’m very interested to try byredo palette! ❤️✨Also I think the sublimage highlighter is great idea for more mature skin because it’s truly very hydrating and comfortable on the skin, Im in my 40s and have dry skin around eye and cheeks, and after applying this highlighter I feel like my skin more supple and this sensation truly last all day. On my light medium skin tone this highlighter very sheer with no true color it’s more as a reflection of sparkle give this nice light sheen. Overall I could be say this highlighter for people who doesn’t like highlighter in general) the sparkles visible only on the sun or electrical light and it’s not too much, also formula is unique too, at list I don’t have anything to compare.
I’m in love with your eye makeup in this video! (Actually, I love all your makeup variations, but this one looks especially soft and nice.) Chanel review gave me some inspiration ❤ gonna shine tomorrow 😅
I like the highlighter on you for something different. You look really sweet and fresh, especially with the TF lip product on in combination. Thanks for showing Crystal Nebula with it. I have Crystal Nebula but I think I want to pick up the Chanel--which is interesting because I have not been interested in any of the Chanel Holiday highlighters.
Hi Lexi !! Thanks for another great review . The glasshouse carousel is stunning . The Chanel is pretty but is an easy pass for me . Live your finished eye look 🤗💕
I’ve had an amazing experience with the Sublimage le Teint foundation so I trust their quality. I’ll definitely try the highlighter. Thank you, Lexi. Will report back once I have a chance to get and try it!
Ooh! I've been thinking about getting the Byredo palette and I've also been thinking about Scorched Sorceress! What luck for me! I'm wearing Eye of the Beholder today and whilst I love the richness of the brown for autumn, I think a brown with a little coolness or red rather than orange would suit me better. It looks like the holographic shimmer is cooling it down and it's going in my basket - Cirque and Mooncat should give you an affiliate code!
I am so surprised you ever bought another Byredo palette after the Purple Echo fiasco Lexi!! 🤣 Oh well... awaiting the HERMES eyeshadow review from you... anxiously!!
I love Metal Boots in the Snow so much that I can't write them off, lol. Hermes will be up next. My brushes came so I wanted to be able to include them in the video and be sure to really test the shadows.
Lexi, love the Halloween carousel. Reminds me of Diptyques holiday carousel but not as pricey. I’ll order it but not sure I’ll get it before Halloween 😆. They have a pumpkin spice candle that sounds yummy. That’s too bad Byredo eye palette isn’t the creamy shadow as previous palettes. I like your eye look it didn’t look like it was hard to apply in your demo. Just one of how many silver/gray palettes everyone is putting out now 😆. I did not purchase the TF lip oil but disappointing they could of put a little color into the oil instead of clear. Thank you for reviewing these new products!! 😊🌺
The Metalboots in the snow was too creamy for me and always separated and shifted even with a eyeshadow base. I was very disappointed with the palette. I have used it again and again because of the colors and i will also buy the Self Illusion because I find the colors very beautiful again. I hope the light sheer formula works for me and the colors shows are like yours and they are buildable and stay on my eyes. Then I'm excited. Thanks for showing. Kind regards, Lexi 🥰
Yes this colors catch me absolutely. This palette is sold out i hope i can get it in germany soon, we get it often later. Is it not limitied?@@LexiJong
Hi Lexi, love your thoughtfully curated review! The Glasshouse Halloween spinner carousel is just the best ... So whimsical, beautiful and functional all at the same time. The Byredo nugget is stunning but I wanted it to be the same formula as your fav metal boots in the snow. Wishing you a happy weekend ahead! 💫✨
Hi Lexi great review . So whats app with Chanel and that glitter? 🤪😜😂 i understand for holidays, it has a theme, i think it works we like it or not. But why in the most skincare based line , they added glitter, not sure. Sublimage line is more popular with lets just say not the youngest generation😉 i got it. I haven’t opened yet. I like how it looks under foundation. I did got Gucci recently and i do have Les beiges in beige, which i do like. So i might going to try and see how i like it🤔 now question is warm gold oversized highlighter can be used as Guerlain meteorites? Because i dont think i need another highlighter. I have plenty . I want something like meteorites, since i just dont like that smell of them🤪 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I agree - there is too much glitter coming out with Chanel products recently! I hope it's a phase. I am not sure if the warm gold can be used all over like meteorites or not. I think it will depend on your skintone but my understanding it is that it has quite a gleam to it so maybe keep looking for something else.
I was waiting for your review on the Byredo. The oyster shell palettes are so hit or miss--or run away as fast as you can with the purple! I like this color story. Warm gray always makes me sit up and take notice. I wish they’d added something special at least one shade that’s duochrome or a shimmery texture. When you swatched Metal Boots in the Snow…the new one just can’t compete with it! I was going to pass on it for sure, but then you said a it’s similar formula to the large palettes and I adore that formula. So hmmmmm… maybe? It looks great on you! The TF lip oil would be such a great gift. It looks beautiful and luxe, but you don’t have to worry about what shade someone would like. I love your nails!!
Thank you Lisa! That purple palette was terrible! I agree with you about the Metal Boots - nothing holds a candle to that one and the TF would be a great gift. Have a great weekend!
I have only tried Laura Geller's Spackle Primer. I want to try more as i always see her on QVC lol. While the primer is nice, it's too much for my oily skin. It's not matte and not long wearing. That candle flare is so pretty 😁
I haven't tried the spackle primer but they just sent me the wheel of fortune collection and I think that might be included! I will have to look into it.
I'm not sure the Chanel looks that sophisticated. I can see the shimmer particles peeking through the foundation too. Not shine but actual shimmer dots. Doesn't look like a high end formula to me 👀
It’s very different with enhancer Chanel 1, enhancer to me it’s true great primer before your foundation or even just sunscreen, actually I really enjoy to put it under sunscreen on no make up days and my skin looks perfect :) I love those enhancers! The sublimage I wouldn’t use as a primer because of the sparkles, but it’s nice as touch of highlighter on cheek bone or eyes, again it’s very sheer and give you very nice hydration , you truly need a tiny dot and it’s will look very natural. So, I think it’s 2 very different products.
Hi Lexi! another great review. While I love the idea of Byredo shadows, and I adore the look of the packaging, having that shell rolling around in my makeup drawer is something I can't come to terms with lol. I am still eyeing boots in the snow, especially considering it's your favorite, and your opinion so far has been dead on with what my experience was with other makeup items, so I trust it without a doubt... if only the packaging was a little more uniform. I have a question, while I don't own Byredo shadows, for some reason they remind me of the La Bouche Rouge shadows, feels like Boots in the Snow has that deep base creaminess, and I love my La Bouche Rouge palettes. Would you say it's somewhat similar? Thank you for your work on this video, thorough as always, and thank you in advance for your time if you have a chance to answer my question.
I wonder how it would look mixed into a bb or even foundation ? I see sparkles like. So it’s ok tho pretty. I have the Auric. And I love the Givenchy ❤
As soon as I see Sublimage in the title I know it's Subli-much-too-much-money. Especially for something so underwhelming. I'm not that familiar with Byredo, but this is a great introduction. Especially with all of your swatches. The one item that stood out is that eye liner you have on. I really am getting into a lighter gleaming eye liner look. It's brightening and the first different makeup look I've seen in a while. Unfortunately, if it's the silver Byredo pencil, it's sold out. Did find Byredo Metal Boots in the Snow on their US website. Thanks for the video!💚
Lol! I love that Deborah - Subli-much-too-much-money! Yes unfortunately the eyeliner was a holiday item a couple of years ago and I haven't found a silver as nice as this one yet but I'm looking!

Lexi, I am here for you. Not one of the products have any of my attention. I think that really shows you my love of what you do. 😊
Thank you so much! You are so kind!
Thanks for the in depth review of these products- it’s so helpful to see comparisons and to hear details about the formulas! 💗
Glad it was helpful!

I ended up getting, and loving, the givenchy liquids! You’re reviews empower me to purchase or skip, with confidence!
I'm so glad to hear that! Enjoy!
Thank you so much for the comparisons and explaining which pallets from the brand is worth it or not , it helps so much
I'm so glad it was helpful! They can be hit or miss.
@@LexiJong Yes very helpful cause the other one I was eyeing was metal boots , thats really pretty too.
Thanks for comparing the Byredo to Metal Boots in the Snow - I need to pull mine out! Great comparisons, as always.
Glad to help! It is one of the best palettes imo!
Love to see the Byredo perplexed kajal crayon review from you❤
I ordered it!
Thank you for your thoughts. That candle sure is special! I had the Byredo in my cart waiting and during the video I went ahead and ordered. I love the look. The Chanel illuminator looks really nice. Great product roundup!🙂
Thank you! I think the Byredo color story is pretty perfect! I would pick this over the Hermes Ombres Fumees.
Love Laura Geller blushes!
They are so underrated!

I love the colors!

Had never heard of mooncat before Lexi, and now I have over a dozen shades!
Thank you! I think you will love scorched sorceress! There are a lot of different nuances in it which i love seeing.
I am glad you like them!

My thoughts exactly. I wonder how it compares to the Chanel n1 skin enhancer.
I didn't buy that.
It definitely has sparkle!!

Those are some great products!
great video so helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Lexi 👋. Could you tell me if the Chanel Lumiere is anything like the Chantecaille rose face tint? Loving your videos as always 😊
Texturally they are both kind of similar but the Chantecaille is much more of a soft rose shade, lighter/ more sheer, and not sparkly.
Love the byredo- I think maybe the Lucia pica is a little more sophisticated colors than izamaya or maybe it’s that whisper of color feeling?
I agree - she isn't as into the brighter shades imo.
Ugh, so gorgeous!! This may have to be mine. ❤
It's really pretty!

Thank you! I like this palette but I do wish the formula was the same as Metal Boots.
Byredo have fallen even lower in my eyeshadow ranking now with brands like prada hitting it out of the park these days.
Prada really has done an amazing job!
Ahh Lucia Pica ruining another brand. When will these brands learn she should not be creative director of any makeup brand.
Lol, at least this color story isn’t pink or red!
@@LexiJong I stand corrected Lexi lol. She clearly learned from that mistake.😂
