Marvel Frontier Comics. Never hear anyone talk about it. Marvel's attempt at a Vertigo Line. Children of the Voyager the most compelling one hands down, but they are all pretty good if short 4 or 2 issue minis
Hey I’m a big fan of your channel. I just wanted to say that you convinced me to buy the Zdarsky Howard the Duck omnibus! I’m really excited to get into it today alongside the Hawkeye omnibus I bought with it. I love your channel and hope you never stop making videos! ❤
@@mrspock1234 well first of all Thank you so much! Very happy to hear you like the channel :) Next, that is fantastic! I really hope it doesn’t disappoint. I love that Zdarsky Howard the Duck run, especially as a marvel fan. I’m a big fan of the superhero genre of comics obviously, but that run was such a breath of fresh air that really helped break up some of my more straightforward superhero comic reading. You’ll have to let me know what you think! And as a side note I have that Hawkeye run in paperback and Love it, considering upgrading to omnibus one day-will depend on budget 😂 Happy reading! 📚📚📚
@@Chester781 yeah I’m not sure why more people don’t talk about it. I thought it was awesome. And yeah, fate of the four really surprised me . Such a fun ride.📚📚📚
Awesome. I have XLives/Death, but haven’t read it yet. My hidden Gem is also a Wolverine story, the relaunch by Greg Rukka, only collected in TPB. I love this run and it has one of my favorite issues in it where Nightcrawler is talking to Logan in a bar about all the bad stuff he’s done but how he’s still a good guy.
@@coffeebreath5325 first thank you so much for the compliment and for watching :) And wow! Thanks for the recommendation! I’ve seen that collection around and the concept is interesting to me, I do like Doom. The creators too are creators I enjoy. 📚
I happened to get Nathan Edmondson's all three Punisher paperbacks with a very good price, and was really surprised, how good they were. After reading them I bought his Black Widow run, which was also wonderful. I've heard that there has been some outside comics issues with him, but I don't know what it is about. Nevertheless, he is a good comic book writer. Atm I'm reading Greg Rucka's Wolverine, which might be the best Wolverine run I have read so far. All those three runs should be printed in the Omnibus format. So, my top 3 would be: 1) Wolverine by Greg Rucka 2) Punisher by Nathan Edmondson 3) Black Widow by N. Edmondson
@@BruceWayne-et8kh thank you so much. I’m so happy to hear you enjoy it. I actually just finished up the DC video recently. I should be dropping it on the channel either the end of this week or early next week.
Speaking of hidden gems, Spider-man/human torch mini series from Dan slott. Its super fun, and set throughout spider-man's history. Being a big fan of the Spidey/torch friendship, this was great. I never hear anyone talk about it. I read it digitally, & its probably hard to find.
What are some of your favorite Marvel Comics that you think deserve more recognition / readership? 📚🤔📚
Ultimate Spider-Man Omnibus for sure.
@@Velocity_gtag i adore ultimate Spider-Man just a brilliant series 🕷️🕷️🕷️

Dark ages by Taylor was great, have to get the Fate of the Four by Zdarsky soon

My hidden gems for you
X-Men: Magneto Testament by Greg Pak
SHIELD by Jonathan Hickman
Invaders by Chip Zdarsky
Primordial by Jeff Lemire
I haven't read Hickman's SHIELD yet, but I'm really looking forward to it
I have yet to read any of these titles, but I love these creators

@@KevinReadsComics I really love that run.
I have it collected in a paperback, but it really needs a reprint
Infamous Ironman is crimally underrated. This was everything I look for in a comicbook video. 👏 👏 👏
