Common problem with W32 deck stepped masts with compression posts. Had to do mine.. You are going about it the right way.
Do you have any photos of your work or finished beam?
I'll have to inspect the beam on my WS32 this weekend. I have not noticed any issues, but I can add it to the list of things to keep an eye on.
Likewise - at some point I need to remove and repair a few abandoned thru-hulls. Been watching your content on that looming project. Carry on!!
@@sail-on Cool! I am about to install new seacocks and I can finish the new Beta install. Replacing old thru-hulls definitely puts the mind at ease.
