Both of their dedication to spreading music from all over the world has opened doors for thousands of musicians, and expanded everyone's musical landscape. They have changed the world.
At 12 years old I started out at heavy Metal, we had a radio station BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) they played HM on Tuesdays and on Wednesdays odd stuff that's when I got exposed to Rush, Peter Gabriel, Yes, Genesis and other progressive artists! My whole outlook on the world changed! PG is exceptional!
Been listening 2years, I'm 72 seen a lot of Concerts in my day but I regret that I never seen you perform. I'm front Upstate New York by the famus Saratoga Race Course You never played at SPAC
Gabriel’s appearance has two distinct phases. There’s the dark haired fellow and then there’s the guy who’s grey and balding. There’s no in between, he just switched from one to the other all of a sudden.

@@dcshortwave no on second listening. I'm pretty sure that's Peter and his daughter singing together. The singing might be minimal but then Peter is no stranger to instrumentals. I refer you to a track he made call Zarr. He made it as a part of the last temptation Of Christ soundtrack. A film that was just as controversial in 1989 as The Passion of Christ was in 1999

His daughter Melanie! PG has two children a boy and a girl, Melanie was very sick as little girl! It was her grave sickness that caused PG to quit Genesis! They were on tour and he went home to care for his family, he and Tony Banks had a lot of arguments at the time. Hence his first solo record Solsbury hills

I had the great luck to meet him in 1986 at his studio near to Bath, and could also see his wife Jill and Melanie and Anna Maria who where little girls at that time. Peter has always been taking part of my life, he's like a member of my family ♥️

When Peter left Genesis what happened was that the group lost its best singer and its best drummer, at the same time.
It was a pitty.
And three years later they lost the best guitar player and replaced him with two rythm guitarists.
