Thank you so much for the kind words Jeff. I'm excited for this new chapter and what's to come. Always open to playing something with you if you have space in your games. My Discord is MrJDubYou#0001
Ive talked to a lot of ex DOJ members and literally all of them have told me horror stories about it. Its a shame they run it the way they do i dont even know how people have fun there
I wondered why Buggs, Firekitten and CivRyan all bailed, didn't want to pry or even bother them. It sounds like they require being a police officer and that's fine but fucking IRL doing paperwork for Roleplay sounds like a pain. Also love your shift, man.
So sad to see the community i watched grow from a bunch of friends having a good time to all those friends leaving because of issues in the server. I will forever miss seeing all of the original people in the videos. 😔
Ya code zero crew was pretty great lol.i like this guy seems really laid back but still does the RP on point.there are limitations to RP due to GTA logic.lol
I was probably subbed to polecat, Jeff, Buggs, firekitten etc when the community started up. It was truly amazing the RP but then it started to go downhill. Within the past few months, polecat has been very controlling and it just seems like it’s doing nothing but going downhill. I truly loved the trio of Jeff buggs and polecat but those days are over thanks to polecat. Unfortunately, fame gets the best of people and it’s sad. I was with ALL of them in the beginning and when Jeff and buggs left, I suspected polecat and other people in on the cons were firing people just to let their friends in. I really liked the old DOJRP. The RP was perfect. There really wasn’t a whole lot of problems until it took off and polecat became famous. Jeff, buggs... the other 7 OG’s all took the fame in a positive manner, polecat just became waaaaay to attached to it and I really wish he didn’t. It just doesn’t feel the same without all of them together... it really hurts not to see everyone back together. I sometimes watch those videos from 3-4 years ago for the fact of a good time. I understand it’s a video game but the mental aspect is still there. So people telling you that “it’s just a game” really do not understand anything. You get attached to your friends and the way you play. It’s like a second family and then they stab you in the back. I feel really bad for you and I only hope for you to grow in the new community. It’s not easy for anyone. I still follow polecat because he might have a decent video here or there but I mainly watch the other 6 OG’s of DOJRP. I hope this comment helps people understand the toll polecat had on people and why people left the community. If you even search up why people left DOJRP, it’s sickening how many lives were affected. Again, it might just be a video game to others but it was a family to almost all the admin that played. The admins wanted progress. Instead, they were stabbed in the back for fame and even kicked out. You got this man. I again hope the best for you and I hope you can find a new community where your able to find another RP family that won’t stab you in the back. Good luck man.
@@BamBam-du3wf Most of them are, there are reasons Jordan acted the way he did, you can tell in videos and not calling names but you can tell who started it.
@Eian Smith I have only been a subscriber of Jeff and buggs for about a year now, so I was not around for the DOJRP days. However I do know there was a lot of speculation that they both left because of polecat and anytime you search all three of their names, videos pop up that argue the same thing your saying here. And after watching some of Polecat's DOJRP videos the past few months, I think those speculations might be right because he pretty much always acts so aggressive and hostile towards other RP players which I always ask myself "why is he always acting like this? Why can't act in a more reasonable manor?". So that made me think back to the claims of polecat being abusive and or aggressive but I'm not entirely certain on the reason why jeff and buggs left cause I kind of get confused at certain points of evidence. So I just would like to know, has Jeff and/or Buggs ever fully admitted that Polecat was the reason why they left DOJ?
@@ryanpeterson5579 So they never came out and said it was polecat all together for the fact that they didn’t want to ruin his career, which makes me respect them even more. It was a little bit of polecat and they indirectly state that. It was a mix of the not trained admins along with polecat aggressive demeanor and strict rules. One of his rules were that you were not allowed to join ANY OTHER RP server. It became ridiculous and that’s why they left. I suppose the best explanation is too strict rules and aggressive attitudes from admins.
Good for you, DOJ has been goin downhill for years, once buggs and jeff left that was the first sign something was bad about doj. Keep up the amazing content man wish you nothing but success and happiness
@@dylanjohnson2327 Jeff and buggs left because of OCRP. not polecat? Jeff said he never got a true click with Polecat and thats why they dont talk anymore.
It’s crazy when a former admin and someone who’s been in the community as long as me. My thing is , why are RP roles mattering when it comes to ooc? Like ya mfs not really deputy of nun or commissioner of nun 😂 ITS FUCCN RP THERE SHOULDNT BE UPTIGHT MILITARY VIBES . Issa video game
It's really crazy how people take that so serious. That is the reason why it's not making fun anymore. Seems like some people in doj forgot the point of roll play in a video game. It shouldn't be a real life simulator.
For me... it stopped being fun a long time ago, especially so when it got to the point of being demoted for “not meeting a patrol requirements” because I put education and work before my membership in the community.
Same, I have also stopped having fun in DOJ because of the Civ patrol logs and the hours i got to meet to get further promoted. I just wanted to hop on and have some fun but I cant cause I got to stress about my patrol logs and what I can and cant do or having to get my hours done.
Yup!! It’s not the same without Jeff, bugs, civ Ryan, bxrich, martin, firekittin!! They all left because how controlling polecat is!! Jeff would come up with ideas in the game and polecat would say, it’s my way or the high way!!
@Wizardmaster061 youre the childish person i ever seen 😂 you support everything that polecat doing even if it doesn't right 😂😂😂 i watch polecat too but i know what is wrong and what is right 😂😂 think again bro before you talk and try to dont embarrass yourself 👍👍👍
1 year in DOJ. 3 months as SAHP K9 supervisor. 8 months as SAHP K9 coordinator. 1 month as an SAHP corporal was all it took. I was ostracized immediately and watched my friends get banned. 60 hours a month trying to make things work and run well. I had never been more depressed than in my last month of DOJ. I'm in ORP now and I'm enjoying fiveM again
i applied to DOJ last month and never heard anything back. i will say it actually felt like i was applying for an actual job. wasn’t sure how to feel about it as an actual first responder. i just RP on a small server that my friend is on and so far it’s a good group that’s slowly growing. keeps the realism but still fun. flexibility is the big thing to. it’s a video game, not an actual job and sometimes you can’t get on. probably just stay away from DOJ altogether by the sounds of it
Well I can kind of understand the applying part since they want to weed out trolls or people who want to ruin the fun. Most big communities require some sort of application.
@@xeldinn86 yes but the application was very extensive and went into more detail then necessary for a video game. it felt way too much like a job application
@@Cool-ql7il Los Santos Life Roleplay. if you search my name on instagram and shoot me a DM i’ll send you the discord server so you can apply. it’s a very minimal application process and nothing nearly as extensive as DOJ. we currently have a few divisions. right now we’re primarily state divisions but hope to be expanding more with more people.
Thats the same problem I had with DOJ, everything is based on rank and honestly, they really tried too much on making their LEO departments look just like an actual department, and that was based on the entire structure of it, so thats why I left
I remember the days of Devon and Samson when DOJ was much more simpler. No need to constantly have work to do outside of patrol and you could hop on and have fun. I wondered why everyone left and no one really went into much depth like you have in this video. Thank you for all the effort you have done to make this video and to make those DOJ videos for us. I hope Oceanside RP does better for you.
Man seeing you like this really made me tear up and I dont normally. You're an absolutely amazing person and I 100% support your move to OSRP. I think it is disgusting how people made you feel even though it may not have been direct. My friend got banned as someone made a false IA report on them, even though they were his "Friend". I made it in just under a month as a Civilian Probationary and I could not deal with the ever going corrupt LEO's. I even got my training botched by a Staff in Training of Civ who gave out answer to try and grow Civ Department. It is sad to see people making these videos, you're one of the last true Media Members who keep the community what it is. There really isn't any other media members there who keep the community to what it is. You always were legit in RP, I have seen you other the years in various members videos and you always were such a great member. Recently Baker D. and Chris W. left aswell probably the 3rd and 4th Highest ranking community members and now you, I cant see their being much of a future and I think this EUP is just an addition to try and save and latch on to lost time. I am happy you are now happier and I hope to see you in more and more videos, just please dont let OceansideRP do the same thing to you, it was not acceptable how DoJRP operates behind the scenes. - Ex Civ-932
I hear all of these rumors about DOJ, Not hating on it or anything but through time, seeing so many great people leave makes me question the community. I've always idolized the community but seeing you leave, sosa leave, firekitten leave, Adam stain leave, Civ ryan leave, even Jeff and Buggs and even all those people who aren't on the media team and have come and just decided to leave has really made me rethink the idea of DOJ and how it's ran. Good luck to you and to the rest who have endured such ungrateful mistreatment. And good luck to the existence of the Department Of Justice.
@@RellJ̌ẹ turns out he’s kinda a shithead and accused polecat of being a pedophile with no proof and basically tried to drag his name through the mud. he also doxed polecats grandma apparently which is fucked. seems like a lot of the doj guys we looked up to and enjoyed watching have a lot behind the scenes we don’t know about
I was in DoJ not long ago. Every time I wanted to patrol I was nervous, I was kind of scared. I was always afraid of getting in trouble, because that's what some people like to do, is either get onto you or report you.
3 years of my life I gave to DOJ, just as you said, it was a “job” or atleast felt like one. I was a Senior Staff Member, I felt held back, granted there was no room moving forward. Everyone stayed at their rank. The Fire Department was overlooked by both administration and development, there was no respect. Polecat has never ran DOJ or ever will. The application process in almost all communities now have structured around DOJ and it’s horrible, the questions are long, and it feels like a job application. There were a lot of great administrators in DOJ, most of which have moved on to bigger and better, they made the switch from such toxic community. Let’s give DOJ what they’ve given us over the years, belittlement, disrespect, etc.
I have to admit, this video popped up for me today. I watched the entire video. After watching your video I have to tell you, thank you for opening up and being honest. I can see the struggle you faced here and absolutely respect how you kept names out, not easy to do in today's society. With that said, I subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching your videos. Seeing your human aspect here truly made me remember you all that make videos for us to enjoy daily are human and have feelings. Seeing a lot of comments from folks I feel that message gets lost. Thank you for sharing your story and I look forward to watching more from you!
Applied last night from a friend referral and then this video pops up this morning! Definitely made me rethink about ever applying to DoJ. Appreciate you!
It really hurts my soul that one of my fav RUclips idols can be so disrespectful. I currently still watch him every time a video drops and really enjoy them and sometimes I can see the toxic side so many people talk about I wish it wasn’t like this way
Yeah, I used to really enjoy Polecat's content back in the day, but I recently decided to unsub. His stuff is getting harder and harder to watch. More often now he'll harshly rip and belittle someone for so long for making a minor mistake or for a perceived slight, it seems like he must have an anger management/mental problem or something. That and the RP is getting more and more weird and frankly kinda boring. Or maybe it's just me. lol It's sad because I really used to enjoy his content a few years back. Got a lot of laughs and entertainment out of it, but no longer. Too bad.
@@Calamity_Jack I still like his content but I have to admit it is way more serious than it was back in the day and yeah I do agree with the belittling people I’ve seen it multiple times. I’ve actually been on a Jeff binge cause I love the way he seems to remember certain people in live streams and it seems like he genuinely cares when he says what up so and so to his fans
@@slimshady4life689 I was basically banned from Jeff's livestream for really no reason at all. So I don't watch Jeff anymore that often. I was even subbed to him when I was banned. I used to love his content, but his moderators turned me off of his stuff. Maybe that is petty but oh well.
its strange polecat sometimes complains about some of the very things you stated, and yet (atleast from the outside lookin in) hes doing nothing i get it hes a busy youtuber he has his staff to handle things but at the same time whos handling the staff and making sure their not overreaching? picking favorites unjustly banning members etc, these are things a the director of a community should be doing , thats my 2 cents .
I agree with you 110%. I always felt pressure and anxiety when I was in DOJ because I felt like I had to watch my every movement and word I said. Then on top of that, all the paperwork was absolutely ridiculous. I was in college at the time of being in that community and if I didn't devote said plus hours of my free time then I was considered not active. Also I never felt like I could really have a nice HUMAN conversation with any of the higher ups because they just saw as peasants, essentially. Glad you found ORP and that you are happy. I just joined ORP and am looking forward to the future!
I'm really glad I was able to see this side of just why..everyone has left. I am sure that you all will have great success and be able to have fun again. All the best to all of you for creating such enjoyable content. Thank you.
I was in DOJ as a civ. Applied for LEO and never heard back. There is ALOT of FRP behind the scenes. When I heard that polecat was letting someone talk to minors I left. And like you said he's too controlling and the staff are corrupt.
Great outlook - just finished - you will do fine - and with the amount of years experience - I wouldn't be suprised if you all dont put together one of the better if not best rp server
I just discovered your channel, and just subscribed; however, good on you for leaving. DoJ fails to remember that it is a video game. While a lot of people enjoy serious roleplay, at the end of the day, it IS a video game. So good on you. Best of luck at your new community! Can't wait to see some content!
I know someone who was in DOJ, one of their family members had cancer (which later survived thankfully). When he went to request a LOA he got told he can just “fit DOJ around his schedule” so instead he decided to leave because obviously family is much, much before a video game and the fact that administrators and staff members say you can just fit it in around a schedule (still having to do a certain amount of hours during the week without consequence) is just sickening.
DOJRP is dying and will continue to die. The application process, as you mentioned is absolutely astonishing for game. The amount of time and effort put into just getting into the community is unrealistic and no human being would want to do that. I've watched Polecat for a long time and there crew, but I've never ever thought it would be so bad of an experience in the DOJRP community. I've heard many stories about DOJRP and nothing but negativity and it just reflects on the leadership going on in the community itself.
Sucks to see you go man. I use to play with you back in 2018. I just went back to doj last month and was hoping to see you again. Wishing you the best at Oceanside!
This isn't the first I've heard of this about DOJ. I have to admit that finding Polecat, Buggs, Favignano (Favignoonoo) and so many others over the last few years has been eye opening for an old man like me. I never knew anything like this existed. Now, I'm wanting to have a go myself and am in the planning stages of building my first ever gaming PC so that I can. I'll probably always watch those guys and what they're doing with DOJ and OCRP and their other stuff but I'm always looking for new folks to watch also.. Now I have a whole new community to check out. I'm looking forward to doing just that. Now I just need to survive the impending icepocalypse of 2021 that's due to hit the Mid-South and other areas tomorrow so I can 😎
I’ve stopped watching DOJ media. After mr_330’s stream, a bunch of videos, and now yours, it just proves how sugar coded things really are. I feel bad for the people who are currently in your situation, I’ve been a long time supporter of you, and I won’t stop supporting. Stay strong, and good luck with Oceanside RP’s media team.
@MrJDubYou I’ve noticed that and I 100% agree with you I sent 3 applications into doj and they all got denied for lack of information etc I wrote basically paragraphs for each of the questions and I filled them out to the specific standards but it just wasn’t good enough for them
You’re a good man JDub! I know I only got a chance to talk to you a bit with Happi but you’re a good person who deserves the best! Positive vibes man and wish you the best!
I feel this man! I’m going through this as a Captain in my own community. I have been doing this since 2007 on San Andreas MP and then did years in Mounties Gaming until tho DOJ merge. Ever since then it’s hard to find a long lasting home due to work and other stuff.
Resigned from DOJRP today. I got accepted and am now a member of OSRP. I see great things in this community that I never saw in doj. DOJ was fun while it lasted but certain members of the CoC were power hungry and just wanted to go to the top. Can’t wait to see ya on patrol!
They didn't deserve you man, and you put up with far more than I did. I'm glad you're making moves to keep yourself happy because you deserve it man! Keep up the great work and keep on doing what makes you happy
I could always tell the way polecat was acting in videos, the way he was getting really snappy with people when they were just trying to have fun, it was gonna fall apart. I’m surprised it took josh this long to leave. I got to the point where I couldn’t watch videos with polecat in because he would just really piss me off
@@Calamity_Jack I literally had to turn off one of his streams because of how rude and condescending he was being towards other members. I also thought it was part of the roleplay at first but now I think that is just how he is.
Watched one of his older videos and yeah he's super mean to people and not even in a role playing context like it's real. There was a funny incident where Muppet got a car stuck in a parking garage and the guy they kidnapped starting laughing and polecat snapped at him and you can tell it wasn't in a role play manner. Don't know why people like this guy he clearly has a God complex and thinks he's superior to everyone
It's interesting to hear your story. You put a lot of your time into a community, and ultimately time is the ultimate price we pay, since it's not refundable. There's always going to be ups and downs, you just have to reflect on the good times and hold those memories, and let the bad times keeping rolling by. Thanks for sharing with us, and hopefully you prosper over at OCRP
DoJ before it got big was amazing, the small group of people were cool and it was simpler time. I also joined in 2015, and left in 2017, after we started to get big and rules started to get strict. But, it was great in the earlier days.
I miss you and adam and some of the original “faces” of DoJRP. Y’all each had your own character and it was interesting to be able to know who someone is based off of their voice. I thank you for the endless fun you *had* on the server and thanks for contributing so much to me growing up. Really don’t understand how much DoJ creators can impact someone.
Thank you for sharing. I know how RPlife can deeply affect you. Brave of you to tell us your story online. Hope I RP with you some day. ~Ellis Dee Gr8CityRP
Thank you for the information man I hope your time at Oceanside is better than DOJ. I applied many times already with paragraphs and got denied. You completely changed my mind about applications for DOJ thank you
This is the first "why I left DOJ" video I've watched. It seems like it hurt to experience this. I'm sorry man. I know what it's like giving so much of your time to just watch it start swirling down the drain. I hope your time in OSRP brings you happiness dude.
Actually glad someone like you being honest about the backend of DOJ. I’m not even in the community other then watching streams but I feel like I can relate just from a few interactions I had with Polecat in the past... I don’t see him the same as I once did. 🤷🏼♂️
I completely agree with the sentiment that it seemed all about the rank. People would do whatever they could to get that shiny new badge or new tag, and there were some in those positions who didn't deserve it.
Little late to the party here but man, watching this is definitely eye opening. Id heard the stories before and they just seemed unbelievable. The fact that you had to watch every word you said, regardless of who it was to is honestly so saddening. I cant imagine what that would feel like, whether you were in patrol or not. I think the worst part about all of this is, not only are the people who truly care(d) gone but that nothing really matters because of Polecats base. DOJ will never fail, regardless of how bad it truly is. I hope OS/ORP treats you well brotha
When I met MrJDubYou in DOJRP he was one of the friendliest person That was an Admin. I Know that there were problems when SosaVinchi left. Im thinking about leaving DOJ also just need to find a new community to join.
At the end of the day, this is a role-playing community IN A VIDEO GAME. I've never done RPing like this but I love watching the videos. When I was younger I was heavy into RP wrestling leagues. I took it seriously, had success, even became president of a federation that was fairly large and successful. But I have a life outside of that and roleplaying will NEVER BE MORE IMPORTANT then that. Sorry to hear what was supposed to be fun turned into a source of stress.
i was wondering why almost all of the OG members left like Firekitten, Jeff Favignano, Sosavinchi, BayAreaBuggs, Martin, AdamStain, OfficerSolo, CivRyan. They all moved to other comunities like ARP, ACDCRP, SA'F, OCRP and some even quit youtube all together and I think other peoples ego played a part in some members leaving.
I applied last year. Had the "interview" and was declined. I appealed due to the fact that the interviewer didn't seem to be listening to my answers, and there was so much background noise on their end that it was hard to understand the questions. The appeal went through, and I re-interviewed. I was approved and given all of the information. After going through all of that, I came to the realization that this was being run as more of a job than a fun RP community. Having to fill out reports and such...I already had a full-time job. And being a single father with 2 kids in elementary school, I thought a lot about it and just never logged in. I'm still looking for an RP community to join, but I can't do it as a "job".
man you have no idea how many times ive tried to get in doj even the days of jeff and buggs first posted on youtube... i am the same way...i just want to rp and meet guys like you and jeff and other guys that i love watching... it kinda got me down and a game shouldnt have been so bad and i even tried online with gta but you know how that went not fun at all...i hope someday i can join a group who cares and wants you to have fun....thank you man for being you....keep going strong bro
Josh, I only had one interaction with you in DOJRP before I left. I have enjoyed watching your videos and live streams. Please keep going and do what you enjoy! I left DOJRP because I got pulled into an IA that I had no idea as to why. They began recording me during the interview without my permission and that was the last straw! I experienced much of the same that you described in this video and realized that playing a video game did not need to take this much effort! I appreciate your honesty and openness in this video!
I used to love watching DOJ. When certain people were in there it was fun and jovial and a game at its roots. A certain someone (rhymes with Stolefat) was so insecure and narcissistic it was unbearable to watch. Definitely glad to see people walking away from that toxicity. One person cant dictate how a whole platform of RP gets run and if he were the one kicked out maybe it would have survived. I dont know the ins and outs but he has limited knowledge of law enforcement tactics or procedures and absolutely no knowledge of civil rights or general penal code. Anyway cant wait to sub to oceanside RP.
this is really sad to hear. i started off watching polecat around episode 50 and kinda grew up with the videos. but as things went on they were getting weird and then buggs and jeff left and it was never the same. i heard the rumors and i believed them as hard as it is to say. now i watch buggs more than anyone and really only watch the old videos. there is this charm to them that i love. i like the ocrp server that they play on now but will never be the same. good luck with everything buddy. i subbed also, you seem like a great guy
Hey bro, hope things are going to get better bro. Like people say good things must come to an end. Hope you and everyone is having a good day. Stay Safe.
Well, you're in good company. Over the years, we've seen Jeff, Buggs, BxRich, Adam, Shiv, CivRyan, Alex, Zach, Dave, Martin, Firekitten, and others leave. It doesn't seem like the same fun place it started out as. I get the impression that it's very autocratic and not fun anymore. It definitely isn't as entertaining to watch. At the end of the day, it's just a game and nothing more. If it isn't paying your bills and/or providing you joy, let it go.
@@HuntGamingProductions all the people who left doj their views or live viewers went way down the only person still get good views is buggs and speirs. Speirs and polecat still good friends i bet jdub views also go down
It is amazing hearing this. Sadly it is not the first video I have seen talking about DOJ and the issues. What is sad is that community in the last 18 months went completely wrong. That is when I started watching DOJ members on livestreams. I truly feel for you and feel for the sad turn that community has taken. Good luck in your new direction!!
It does need a refresh, but it probably won't. Why? Because for every person who leaves, 50 new ones apply to join, even after horror stories like this. It can be like Auschwitz and still people will flock to get in. And finally, because the business model works so well for Polecat's empire. lol!
I wasn’t ever in DoJ that long (only stayed about four months at my longest) and for good reason. DoJ is a place that the only thing that matters is being perfect in EVERYTHING and having no mistakes. But it’s also about patrolling ten hours a day like Polecat and being one of his goons, at least in my eyes. I never liked the atmosphere, I didn’t think it was a good experience, and I thought I could have fun elsewhere. I’ve done this since about February of 2018 and have been with multiple communities, but DoJ is still my least favorite to this day, just because of the atmosphere and the feeling that you HAVE to patrol.
That’s is sad as I have also left an RP Server as it is being run terribly by the STAFF. But I’ve noticed how sad it is to leave all the good people behind that made the server worth it. I’m hoping I can join a good Rp server soon,
I appreciate the honesty that went into this. I left DOJ a few years back after my wife and I started building our family and I was between jobs. I couldn't take the extra paperwork that went into what I thought should've just been a simple RP experience, nor could I justify spending the hours they were requiring. Perhaps the biggest thing that made it easy for me to leave was the toxic leadership, especially when it came to dealing with the shenanigans of the more prominent Twitch streamers and how a blind eye was turned to them violating the community's rules we would otherwise get beaten over the head about. Sometimes when the motivation is gone and the idea of logging on is unappealing, it's time to walk away, and it sounds like you bailed at the right time.
I wholeheartedly agree with you man. I've applied five or six times for DOJ just to be a civilian. And I was denied everytime. The application questions are ridiculous. I was inspired by Polecat and Muppet to join, but it's quite impossible to do so.
I left long ago. I got hurt in real life couldn't even get to a computer and because of that they told me they were going to release me, but I can reapply
Very well put. Agreed. You are awesome and anyone not letting you have your chance is beyond wrong! If you ever need somewhere to go and have fun and gain some friends, let us know!

@@BamBam-du3wf Yeah, but him and Buggs had Chemistry with a platonic meaning and a capital letter.

For me... it stopped being fun a long time ago, especially so when it got to the point of being demoted for “not meeting a patrol requirements” because I put education and work before my membership in the community.
Same, I have also stopped having fun in DOJ because of the Civ patrol logs and the hours i got to meet to get further promoted. I just wanted to hop on and have some fun but I cant cause I got to stress about my patrol logs and what I can and cant do or having to get my hours done.
When having fun becomes a job, it probably isn't worth it. If DOJ isn't paying the bills, it should take a back seat to things that do.
Yeah. Doesn't seem right. A game is only used for entertainment. Their styling like it's a job
Bro I got demoted 3 times, and then I just gave up
Well said Josh, I don't see how anyone can be mad at you for being so humble and honest.
Yup!! It’s not the same without Jeff, bugs, civ Ryan, bxrich, martin, firekittin!! They all left because how controlling polecat is!! Jeff would come up with ideas in the game and polecat would say, it’s my way or the high way!!

I was ostracized immediately and watched my friends get banned. 60 hours a month trying to make things work and run well. I had never been more depressed than in my last month of DOJ. I'm in ORP now and I'm enjoying fiveM again

Good for you, buddy. Take care!
i applied to DOJ last month and never heard anything back. i will say it actually felt like i was applying for an actual job. wasn’t sure how to feel about it as an actual first responder. i just RP on a small server that my friend is on and so far it’s a good group that’s slowly growing. keeps the realism but still fun. flexibility is the big thing to. it’s a video game, not an actual job and sometimes you can’t get on. probably just stay away from DOJ altogether by the sounds of it

Well I can kind of understand the applying part since they want to weed out trolls or people who want to ruin the fun. Most big communities require some sort of application.

Did you leave DOJ as well Terry?
Hello there mmmate
Really? I applied and got accepted like about a month ago. Just got upgraded to civ 1. Havn't really had any problems and everyone has been great
I hear all of these rumors about DOJ, Not hating on it or anything but through time, seeing so many great people leave makes me question the community.

I was in DoJ not long ago. Every time I wanted to patrol I was nervous, I was kind of scared. I was always afraid of getting in trouble, because that's what some people like to do, is either get onto you or report you.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I might need to make one of these videos...

I was in DOJ as a civ. Applied for LEO and never heard back. There is ALOT of FRP behind the scenes. When I heard that polecat was letting someone talk to minors I left. And like you said he's too controlling and the staff are corrupt.
What do you mean, “letting someone talk to minors?”
This is why I joined a smaller random community to help it grow. No need for those fancy servers.
There's definitely value in well developed servers, just DOJ isn't it.
Interesting to watch honestly! I wish you well and happiness on your new adventure 🖤
DOJRP is dying and will continue to die. The application process, as you mentioned is absolutely astonishing for game. The amount of time and effort put into just getting into the community is unrealistic and no human being would want to do that.

Do what makes you happy bro keep the great content up
I think Doj needs like refresh button, like reset the community and do new application or something like that
It does need a refresh, but it probably won't. Why? Because for every person who leaves, 50 new ones apply to join, even after horror stories like this. It can be like Auschwitz and still people will flock to get in. And finally, because the business model works so well for Polecat's empire. lol!
Hi I’m new to the channel so looking forward for more content
Welcome!!
DoJ isn't what it was before... Miss playing in the older days. Now waiting to turn 21 to join OCRP 😂
You have to be 21 damn
It avoids situations such as this. with age comes wisdom.
@@Cool-ql7il it used to be 18 but immature kids ruined it and that's why it got changed to 21
I wasn’t ever in DoJ that long (only stayed about four months at my longest) and for good reason.
I’m hoping I can join a good Rp server soon,
I wanna know why buggs and pole stoped playing together
“You better play a virtual life instead of your real life or else...”
My Fav memory is you & Speirs was on the police force and y’all were funny and you are DA GREATEST RUclipsR OF ALL TIME
I felt similar in Aspirant Gaming, a server that came off of DOJ originally. Hoping things ease up across the board
Lots of communities come out of disgraced members of doj and think they can do it better.
Just to be honest, I've never watch one of your videos till now, but thanks for the story and I'm here for the ride now!
Welcome aboard!
@@MrJDubYou Thank you sir!
That's cray cray. I was thinking about applying but am soo hesitant now.
I wholeheartedly agree with you man. I've applied five or six times for DOJ just to be a civilian. And I was denied everytime. The application questions are ridiculous. I was inspired by Polecat and Muppet to join, but it's quite impossible to do so.
Too bad muppet is moving on now
This is why me and my friend boost do our dojs off the console because we run it and we don't even have that much strict rules
Yea I agree. There is so much you have to do to get into the community. It’s almost too much.
I left long ago. I got hurt in real life couldn't even get to a computer and because of that they told me they were going to release me, but I can reapply
That's effed up
I ran a basketball crew for like 2years we were allways top 10 but thay made my step down cose my new 7 to 7 job gave me no time
Very well put. Agreed. You are awesome and anyone not letting you have your chance is beyond wrong! If you ever need somewhere to go and have fun and gain some friends, let us know!
