Just got my first instant pot this week, and went with this model. First time I used the saute setting, I got the C8 message, tried again, same thing happened. I was afraid I would have to return it, but after some snooping online I tried simply turning the pot to face the other direction, and it worked beautifully! Maybe this would explain why it only happens sometimes for people.
That to me and I'm rather technical is to me a degaussing issue. Remember the sensor on the Instant Pot is magnetic. Search online for a magnetizer demagnetizer and use the demag side of it.
I have a suspicion. In June I received my very first IP Duo 60 Plus v. 2. This one had a Sous Vide function. One day I was sautéing up some veggies and meat for a stew, I turned to put something in the sink and immediately returned to a completely dead IP. I popped everything into the Crock Pot and slow cooked my stew. (Which came out delicious! ) The IP the company replaced it with is the regular IP Duo Plus 60. Like you I harvested the great new lid with it’s great little release button. The IP Customer Service was wonderful. Within hours I was assured my new IPot was on its way and it arrived on Friday of that week. Since the. I’ve had no trouble with it! And I sautéed several time on More right up to the 30 minutes and there wasn’t a whimper! My suspicion is the Sous Vide function on the Duo and the Ultra is causing the fuse issue. There must be a new fuse board for the Sous Vide and it has compromised these pots. It’s a costly bug for the company and I think we’ll see the SV function will be reviewed. I didn’t receive another v. 2. I think they’ve had too many replacements! Thanks for your wonderful videos! And your sweet “Food Critics”!
After seeing my name on your video, I can give you a update on the Instant pot and C8 message. After I mentioned to you we lower the temperature on saute as I mentioned to you, we have not gotten any alerts on C8, or burn messages. My wife uses the Instant Pot at least once or twice a week with zero problems. I think it's close to a year that we have bought the Instant Pot. Thanks, Don Zelmer from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Thanks for the update. Just bought this model myself and think the LE6 setting equates to an electric wok Sear. It should only be used used briefly (1 minute) to create a crust on each side the meat; and then select LE3 or LE4 to sauté the food and create a fond.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful honesty on the Instant Pot Evo Duo Plus. I have one that I bought several months ago and am hoping I don't get those issues. I still have my first one, the Duo and it is such a wonderful machine. This one is amazing with the handles, flat inner pot, etc. I also have the Duo Plus and have found that it leaks steam to the point of getting on my counter, not happy with that model at all because of that. And the little cup in the back fills up fast. I make sure the seal ring is in properly and still get this issue. Guess I need to call Instant Pot. Anyway, thanks for the update, really appreciate it. Take care and big hugs your way. Claudia
Good Morning! The Duo Evo Plus is my favorite also! Love the pluses that you mentioned. I have not encountered the C8 error message but also struggled with the burn notice. I appreciate your time in completing the review! Have a blessed week ♥️
I had a Cooks Essential Pressure cooker from QVC before instant pot can out. I decided to upgrade and jump into the brand and purchased the DUO EVO Plus. I love the upgrades and to me it’s totally worth it. The flat inner pot with handles is a game changer . I like the dial much better than the push buttons. I have never had error codes (yet) and I have had mine for about 4 months. I did turn down the sauté temp because it is way too hot for what I am comfortable with. I like the lower setting for control. I highly recommend if you Want to buy your first or if you need to buy a new one
Thanks so much for chiming in since my oldest sister just surprised me with this today! I am nervous but excited to start using it and call her with my success! I am beyond thrilled to receive this as this has been something I'd been praying for! It was the Ultra but now that I'm seeing the difference between the models, I think this one will suit me just fine. Especially seeing that my 10+ yr old slow cooker is falling apart! 7/22/20
I'm sure someone has already mentioned that if it's giving you an error for getting too hot in the one mode, you can put the pot on the stove and use the stove's heat to finish sautéing and then just insert the pot back into the machine to continue with your recipe.
I Was tempted to get this model until I saw your previous video where you had the error message. I ended up winning a Duo Crisp model The day before Christmas and between that and my original duo 8, I’ve been pretty happy with both of those. As much as I like the inner pot with the handles and being able to use it on the stove top, this video kind of solidified the fact that I’m not going to get the duo Evo PLUS. Thanks so much for your informative and helpful videos
After I saw your first video on the Duo Evo Plus, I also looked at the bottom of mine, and it doesn’t have the QC Pass sticker like my Lux has. Shortly after, I also received a C8 error when changing from Sauté to Pressure Cook. I unplugged it, lifted the pot slightly, replugged it immediately, and it worked. I really love the quicker pressurizing and depressurizing of this model, as well as the lid storage right on the Instant Pot!
I also recommend the plain Instant Pot Duo. It does everything that I need it to do and it doesn’t have that annoying selection knob for the time setting.
I love the Duo Evo Plus. I got the C8 while sauteing and read about it in reviews. Originally reviewer said to unplug pot, turn pot around and it worked. After it happened a few times, I just turned pot off instead of unplugging, turned it around and that worked. I tried using Low when sauteing and have never had C8 since then. I have the 8qt and planning on getting 6qt. You're the goto for Instant Pot info. Thanks for the review.
But those handles are amazing!😭 I'm choosing between this and duo nova and I don't know what to do. If it weren't for those handles I wouldn't even consider it.
A tip on the nob... if you turn it quickly it will jump up to higher times faster. I have the IP Ultra 80 (8 quart) and now I'm looking to buy another one thanks for the honest reviews this is helping me to decide.
Thank you for the updated review Nili. Is the quality of the inner pot on the new Pro as good as D.E.P. which has not stained rusted or pitted? I'm at one year of daily use on my 6 qt Duo Evo Plus. No errors or issues. It's inner pot is compatible with my NuWave induction so I saute and prep chili soups stews there then transfer hot to the I.P. which then builds pressure nearly instantly. Induction heats much faster and with more precision. Also keeps the I.P. base clean. Certain induction ranges may throw an error with this pot so compatibility with induction is not advertised as you once noted.
After you press the pressure cook button. Then hold the big button for 5 seconds. Turn the dial to the volume and hold the dial button again. You can turn off the noise for it
I purchased this one for my daughter for Christmas because of the new inner liner and also steam release. I almost wish I hadn't now. I love my older IP Duo and have it in all three sizes. It's not as sleek nor does it have the cool new liner but it is still rocking and rolling..
TY for all you do! Nice review you gave for the Duo Evo Plus. Everything we get has its pros & cons. Nice gadget you got there. Take care and stay safe!
I just tried out my new duo 6qt. So excited, until... I had two briskets. Sauteed the first one on high and then pressure cooked - done and delicious! Cleaned the pot, put it back in to do the exact same thing with the second brisket. Seared the meat on high. Then, I got the C8 error message. I didn't panic, because I watched this video and really took it to heart. I unplugged it, plugged it back in, hit saute and turned it on low heat. Same thing. C8. I took the pot out and seared the meat on the stove top (love that pot!). Deglazed the pot, thoroughly cooled the pot by adding liquid, put it back in, set it to pressure cook and now have the C 6H error message!!! GUESS WHAT? NO FIX FOR THIS CODE. It doesn't go away. BUSTED! I'm so bummed. I'll give it one more chance with a new one, but I am not a happy camper. The brisket is in the oven...🙁
Oh no!! 😭 Contact Instant pot customer service for sure. Hopefully they'll take good care of you! The only good thing about my pot dying was that when they sent me a replacement I was able to keep the liner of the old one as a spare!
I don’t have the Evo plus model but I do have the SV, Nova, Lux and Duo Plus models and my favorite is the Duo Plus. I had a Duo and loved it for 1-1/2 Years and then it died. I get far fewer burn errors with the Duo Plus. Only way around it is to cook rice or grits pot-in-pot. .
Thanks for your honest review. I have the 6 quart and haven’t had any problems so far. I love the features too. I also have other Instant Pots that I use a lot and an air fryer lid (that doesn’t work on the Duo Evo Plus). If the Duo Crisp had been first, I probably would have gotten it. Overall I am pleased with my Instant Pots.
I really appreciate your review of this Duo Evo Plus! I was going to buy one for my Son & Daughter-In-Law, but don't want them to have to deal with the things that you mentioned. I have an 8 qt. Duo that I bought last year (on sale, Amazon, in November) which I've had zero problems with. Since it's served me well, I think I might get them the Duo instead of the Evo Plus. Thanks again for this great review!
I want to say thank you for your reviews. I'm trying to decide on my first Instant Pot and your reviews are SO thorough. I'm looking now to see if they'll be upgrading the Evo Plus soon to resolve some of the issues. It concerns me that the recipes may not work out as well as with the older Duo, but I do want the new handles and the steam release features. Thanks so much! I can't decide between 6 qt and 8 qt. I have a 7 qt slow cooker now. I like to make leftovers. I also like to make whole chickens and I see the 6 qt handles a maz size of 5 lbs. Decisions, decisions!
*I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus **MyBest.Kitchen** and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.*
Any time I've gotten the C8 error on my Duo Evo Plus, I just turn my base 180 degrees and that clears it up right away haha. I guess mine just wants the pot in the same way each time!
Thank you soooo much! I was about to order the Duo Evo Plus because of those great handles and slow steam release, BUT now I will research the regular Duo. This excellent company no doubt will incorporate your comments into the next model. I couldn't agree more about the dial for entering time--yikes! What were they thinking?!?
I would like to ask a question. I live in a small town and the grocery store does not have thick pork chops. If I put several thin pork chops in the Instant pot will the pork chops that are covered up cook the same? I guess this same question applies to any type of meat; round steak, cut up chicken etc.
I still have my original instant pot. I use it about twice a week. With a six quart the meals last. I purchased the 3 quart with your cookbook and it works fine with the smaller meals. But I must be lazy in my old age because I find I still use my 6 quart and divvy out the meals for the week or freeze them. BTW your shrimp scampi is my favorite recipe.
Thanks for sharing! I've bought it almost 2 months ago and it's taking ages to arrive it for me in Amsterdam. So after waiting so much, I hope not to have any problem.
I’ve had my Duo Evo Plus for over a year now and the only error I’ve ever received was a burn error one time when I was a newbie - it was user error. I don’t mind the knob at all since it hurts a bit to hold the + for a real long time. With sautéing, the highest setting is so hot I never select it. My sense is the 4 or 5 is as hot as the hot setting on other IPs. Caveat: I only use the IP about once a week so do not have the experience you have. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t set the time for 0 minutes, unlike the other IPs (all of them?). It’s a very minor issue since you can set it for 1 minute and as soon as it beeps you can turn off the IP. I would not give up the handles for any other IP since I can burn myself in a heartbeat and also love the flat bottom. Thanks for your extremely thoughtful review!
Thanks Nili for this great video. I have 3, 6 and 8 quart duos and have never had a problem with any of them. I think I’m sticking to them after seeing this video. I have that crisp lid for the 8 quart but haven’t used it yet.
Great vid. Thanks Nili, i am glad that i have what i have. Watching your vids, i decided to buy a mini. Later i bought a 8 lux at a deal i couldnt refuse. I bought the egg bites stuff for my mini that you liked and dont regret that at all.
Did you contact Instant Pot about the C8 error code? I purchased the 6qt Evo Plus several months ago and it gave me that C8 error. I returned it. Just wondering what IP is saying about the cause and what the solution is? Thank you. Love your videos and always look forward to them.
I didn't contact IP about the C8. Since it wasn't fatal and I knew it was something that lots of people have had happen... I didn't think it was worth it
I live in Australia and the Duo Crisp and Air Fryer was released last week. I was going to wait for the Pro Crisp ( based on the Duo Evo Plus) but after the issues you raised about the Duo Evo Plus I’ll buy the one released last week. I look forward to your Instant Pot videos, I find them very helpful. Best Wishes to you and your family.
Hi If you could reply me..It's Between evo and ultra. 1.can every present in evo or ultra can be used ot duplicate with pressure cook setting.. I mean is it the same thing? 2. I have read in some evo review that it provides customization..So can you please explain that how the customization differs from ultra pot customization. What difference these two pots have in regards to customization? What does full control or customization actually mean? 3.does evo and ultra have no pressure mode? I need to order soon in so please try to reply to help me. Thankful and grateful
To set hours quickly, turn the knob to the left and it immediately goes to hours - hours are left and minutes are right. Make a correction because it is a user error on your part, not a bad feature of the hours/minutes settings knob.
On mine, if I go down to one minute and turn the nob left it will go to 8 hours and will continue to count down by minutes.... 7:59, 7:58, etc. That's a great shortcut if I want to get to 8 hours but if I want to get to 4 hours you still having to scroll (by minutes) down to it. I find the nob to be annoying and the up/down buttons on other models to be far superior... I'm glad you're enjoying it though!
I love the idea of the handles on the inner pot and the dual function with being able to use it on the stove, but I don’t think the value proposition exceeds the cost for me right now... cost of space on my counter mostly 😆
Thanks for the review. Our Duo Nova died on the fourth meal while on saute. I found IP's warranty service to be cumbersome and onerous (take photos, etc). I'm leaning against buying another IP. Maybe try a different brand.
So many companies request documentation (aka photos) before shipping a new, expensive item to a customer under the warranty. There are a lot of dishonest people out there! To show the other side, I mangled a small IP part in my disposal and contacted them. They shipped me another but something got messed up and they shipped it to my name but to an address in another state. To make up for it rather than re-ship it they sent me a new IP!
Thanks. I'm going to go with the Instant Pot Duo Nova which has the better steam release, but not the handles for the pot. I'd spent over an hour online reading reviews before I got to yours. Most helpful. (and if it's not inappropriate, you have beautiful eyes!).
I kind of like the turn knob. There's nothing in this life that is perfect. But the combination of fact that the pot remembers your last time setting and that when you soon the knob repeatedly it goes up in 10 minute increments and small turns yield a 1 min increment, means that for most of my cooking its just about four or five quick turns of the knob to set time. It's a little bit of a chore to set 24 hours on sous video mode, which is something I use for one of my common fermenting/culturing recipes, but the pot remembers it for next time every time I go into sous vide mode so that's just basically almost a one-off.
Mine doesn't jump to ten minute increments. 🤔 I wonder if they've improved the model since I got mine! That would be wonderful! I agree that remembering your last time is very helpful. I just have to remember to be diligent to use the correct presets instead of just choosing Custom every time!
I wanted to love this model, I really did! I spent two weeks trying to find the best affordable option of a pressure cooker out there and I bought this Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus. It arrived three days ago. I read numerous reviews that mentioned error messages, but, of course, was hoping that my item will not be defective. Unfortunately, it looks like there are a LOT of defective items or this model of the Instant Pot just does not work, error messages show up whatever you are trying to cook and then it stops cooking. I got it three days ago and tried to cook twice with it. First time, an error message appeared when I tried to saute on high. Nothing was burning. Two days later, I tried to bake a cake. It heated up and, not cooking even for two minutes, an error "food burn" appeared and it stopped cooking. I tried to troubleshoot, switched it off three times, lowered down the temperature, opened the lid - tried everything, nothing worked, it just would not cook. Needless to say, the cake was ruined. I don't need a device that two times out of two gives me error messages instead of doing what it is supposed to do, COOKING. Ridiculous. I do NOT recommend this item.
It hurt watching you spin the dial 😂, it might be easier to set one of the preset options to 2 hours then you just select that for broth? Thanks for the great videos! You got me started with Instant Pot.
I'm so torn. I wish they had a perfect model. I really want these safety features, and being able to grab the pot easily and put on the stove. I'm also debating about 6 or 8 quart. Thank you for the video, lots to think about.
If you turn the nob faster, it goes faster actually. You are simply tapping and turning it, thats not how one turns a nob. I agree on the burns tho. So it appears there is some kinda issue with the hot plate.
I would probably pick the Duo Evo Plus... Because of the handles and because it comes in an 8qt size. Have you seen my comparison video? ruclips.net/video/qkVIZh-Bj1k/видео.html
You are the only one I’ve ever heard say that instant pot has good customer service. I’ve only heard very negative things about it. I want a instant pot but have been very nervous purchasing one because of all the negative customer service reviews. Maybe you get great customer service from them because they know you have a RUclips channel discussing their products.
I have to agree. The line they give most people with c8 error is to unplug it and wait for it to cool down. They know about this error yet still sell the pot, it has not been fixed as recent reports still complain of the issue. This stinks of a disreputable company.
I bought a Duo Evo Plus from amazon UK 5 days ago . It cost me more than $300. I live in Jerusalem , Palestine , in the Middle East . Your video’s made me worried , what if I find anything wrong in the IP , how can I contact anyone to help me ??!?
Great video - do you know if you can use a mealthy crisp lid on a instant pot DUO EVO + ?? I understand it may void warranty. but instant air fryer lids won't work on this pot model.
@@IndigoNili I was worried if it would work with the handles. Have you ever tried! I hate to give up that model of instapot. I love your channel by the way and I subscribe
Hello. I'm used to the old Instant Pots that gives no error and come with 3 times preset per program so the things you point out make that new version very unattractive.
You are just too wonderfull, keep it up! I was craving to buy the duo evo plus but watching this video I think I have to forgo it because it will be difficult for me to reach the costomer service from where I reside. Please, I would be glad to see a review of the ninja foodi deluxe.
You mentioned at one time you weren’t crazy about the ultra-I think it had to do with making cheesecake? Can you tell me why else? I’m thinking of getting it....
Yeah, I had bad cheesecake results in the ultra. I mixed up a batter and cooked half in the ultra and half in the duo. The duo came out perfect and the ultra made a huge mess of it. I also don't like the control nob on the ultra. The buttons on the duo are much simpler to me
So one of the things you don't like about it is because you have to spin a dial to go up and down with the time that doesn't seem that big of an issue but okay
By the mid of the video, you’re “hitting” the round knob - it’s supposed to be turned which makes it much easier to set the options you want than pushing + and - buttons. I understand hitting it doesn’t make it easy to control 😜
I just ordered the 8 qt duo nova plus - then researched what the cost of an 8qt inner pot would cost and I cannot find one - amazon only has the 6qt size, do you know why?
If I'd have know about the timer before I brought it - I wouldn't have - it's INSANE - TBH it stops me using it.. As for your comment about IP customer service - 'don't see that as valid in the 2020's you shouldn't be getting issues, especially when you can buy a copy product at half the price

So happy with my two Duo’s. Never had a burn notice and the 6qt has been going strong for 5 years now. Thanks for the review. Really good info.

Glad you haven't seen the C8! Do you have a 6 or 8qt?
Indigo Nili I have the 8 quart. We are only a family of 4 but do a lot of larger meals with leftovers for the freezer.

I also have other Instant Pots that I use a lot and an air fryer lid (that doesn’t work on the Duo Evo Plus). If the Duo Crisp had been first, I probably would have gotten it. Overall I am pleased with my Instant Pots.
So, which do you like or use better? This or Max? Do they create the same results?
I really appreciate your review of this Duo Evo Plus! I was going to buy one for my Son & Daughter-In-Law, but don't want them to have to deal with the things that you mentioned. I have an 8 qt. Duo that I bought last year (on sale, Amazon, in November) which I've had zero problems with. Since it's served me well, I think I might get them the Duo instead of the Evo Plus. Thanks again for this great review!
If you want to cook rice or grits please use a rice cooker that’s non stick. I’m buying this instapot this week.
It is a hard decision! Back when I got my first pot there was literally only 1 option. Times have certainly changed!
Use a demagnetizer on the inner pot and that should solve the issue.
@@Zooumberg what exactly do you mean by that?
@@marcelw1981 the base has become magnitised. These machines all work with magnets. So if the base has become magnetic, it will cause issues.
@@Zooumberg so what does turning do?
@@prufrok The same thing as turning a magnet.
I watch a lot of videos in the Instant Pot. I've just got mine and I've used it once and it was for a chili. But your videos are my favourites.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
Thanks for your extremely thoughtful review!
have you made the sibo yogurt in this one? Getting ready to make mine today hopeufully and not sure how to test the temp
Hi
If you could reply me..It's
Between evo and ultra.
Mine does not work that way. Right nob turn is minutes forward, left nob turn is minutes backwards
@@IndigoNili once you get to zero minutes, a left turn is hours.
Hi indigo if you have to sear first then why can’t you just sear the food on the regular stove and then transfer into the instapot?
I solved burn notice with my DEP by investing in two 3 qrt IP inserts and do everything that used to get the BN as PIP.
A question for you: do you use the air fryer? Is this something I should consider? The EVO PLUS does not allow for one...
What do u use today? still got the evo plus'es?
So if I don't use sous-vide I can customize it for dough fermentation and it will remember my time & temperature settings?
You're a genius!
Hey so you don't recco this one , what about the Max and can it do yogurt like the duo plus with blue lcd screen?
Thanks for the update. I'm glad I chose to get a scratch & dent Ultra 8 instead. I highly recommend the Ulta. And dents make them affordable. Lol
I'm so torn. I wish they had a perfect model. I really want these safety features, and being able to grab the pot easily and put on the stove. I'm also debating about 6 or 8 quart. Thank you for the video, lots to think about.
Have you seen the new Instant Pot PRO? I just ordered it and will be doing a review soon! Fingers crossed that it's "the one". 😆
@@IndigoNili Oh no I hadn't seen that one yet. I'll search for it, thanks!
The inner pot is 18/8 stainless steel according to Amazon website. It is not 18/10 s/steel which is better than 18/8.
I had the same C8 error. Googled cause/s and solution/s and returned the pot. I wanted so much to love this pot, but, meh...
If you turn the nob faster, it goes faster actually. You are simply tapping and turning it, thats not how one turns a nob. I agree on the burns tho. So it appears there is some kinda issue with the hot plate.
Excellent review. Thanks.
Hey i'm really deciding between this and the max. If you would choose 1 what would you go for?
I would probably pick the Duo Evo Plus... Because of the handles and because it comes in an 8qt size. Have you seen my comparison video? ruclips.net/video/qkVIZh-Bj1k/видео.html
@@IndigoNili ya i’ve seen it, my bad I meant to compare this model vs duo nova. Which one is better, latest model, and cooks faster? Thanks!
Suddenly these are not available new on Amazon. Are they being discontinued? Did they have too many problems with these?
Not discontinued... They were just on really good sale for Black Friday so my guess is that they just sold out
@@IndigoNili Thanks!
Did you buy the warranty? I hate to spend the extra 29.99.
Thank you.
I bought a Duo Evo Plus from amazon UK 5 days ago . It cost me more than $300. I live in Jerusalem , Palestine , in the Middle East . Your video’s made me worried , what if I find anything wrong in the IP , how can I contact anyone to help me ??!?
Did I hear correctly that you can use the inside pot on the stove?
Yes!
Great video - do you know if you can use a mealthy crisp lid on a instant pot DUO EVO + ?? I understand it may void warranty. but instant air fryer lids won't work on this pot model.
It does fit on the Evo but, yes, it'll certainly void the warranty 🙂
@@IndigoNili I was worried if it would work with the handles. Have you ever tried! I hate to give up that model of instapot. I love your channel by the way and I subscribe
Would you go with this model or the max?
Duo Evo Plus. Here's a video where I compared both models: ruclips.net/video/qkVIZh-Bj1k/видео.html
Thank you so much, that was very helpful.
Great review. I have an old viva that I use everyday. I was looking for an excuse to get a new one. Maybe 🤔 this review my excuse.😄
Please, I would be glad to see a review of the ninja foodi deluxe.
... Yes you did, Thank you ...
Is there really a big difference between the 6qt and 8qt. I am a family of 4.
If you have room in your kitchen I recommend going with the 8qt. The extra 2qts come in handy! If space is an issue though, the 6qt will suffice 😊
The buttons on the duo are much simpler to me
My 6 qt duo and 8 qt dou give me different results too.
So one of the things you don't like about it is because you have to spin a dial to go up and down with the time that doesn't seem that big of an issue but okay
Also...I wonder if folk are getting the same C8 on both the 6 and 8qt...
They were back in Dec, 2019 and Jan. 2020.
@@r.severn7479...ok...so IP knew/knows about the error and has done nothing to correct the issue.
Cuanto cuesta en EUA la Duo evo plus??????????
I believe Instant Pot has discontinued the Duo Evo Plus. Check out the Instant Pot Pro as a replacement

By the mid of the video, you’re “hitting” the round knob - it’s supposed to be turned which makes it much easier to set the options you want than pushing + and - buttons. I understand hitting it doesn’t make it easy to control 😜
Forgot to say I enjoyed your review! Thank you
I also do my sautéing on the stove then put liner in the DEP. (don’t like pressing down on liner in the unit)

Does anyone know why the Due Evo Plus is discontinued after one year in the market?
Probably because the replaced it with the Instant Pot Pro
@@IndigoNili Do you see any advantages of the Pot Pro over the Due Evo Plus?
I have a video in the works where I go over all of the differences. Stay tuned! 😆
Can you use the lid from the dual eco plus on the dual instant pot?
No
I just ordered the 8 qt duo nova plus - then researched what the cost of an 8qt inner pot would cost and I cannot find one - amazon only has the 6qt size, do you know why?
I just searched Amazon and found an 8qt pot: www.amazon.com/dp/B01K7YCPHE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_esKcGb7XHN10M
If you put the pot on top of your stove, it will not give you that message.
Have u tried the Nuwave Duet?
No, I haven't tried that one!
If I'd have know about the timer before I brought it - I wouldn't have - it's INSANE - TBH it stops me using it.. As for your comment about IP customer service - 'don't see that as valid in the 2020's you shouldn't be getting issues, especially when you can buy a copy product at half the price
instant pot unfortunately lid is not fully interior and 2nd the silicone gasket smells rubber
Good info. Tfs
PUT 2 LAYERS OF TIN FOIL BETWEEN THE BASE AND THE POT
