Thank you for this rare audio document of the art of Jean-Jaques Grunenwald. It shows us the tradition at St. Sulpice after the death of Marcel Dupré, whom I was able to visit in Meudon Boulevard Anatol France in February 1971 after his concert tour to London (a few weeks before his death at Pentecost 1971). This sound document touches me emotionally because it awakens memories in me. -
It was a time when French organ music was not as in demand and played in German-speaking countries as it is today, and music scores of French music were difficult to obtain due to the import regulations of the individual EFTA-countries. Thank you very much for the publication of this time- and audio document! Best wishes and greetings to you from Vienna, Austria.
