II know it's been 3 years since you posted but I just found this. I hope you are well and loving your walk with the Lord. was led by the Lord to discover and learn from Dr. Lisle. I was seeking answers online to some questions an ashiest was asking me. I searched he Bible and was pretty sure of my answer but not sure he was capable of seeing it. I prayed the Lord would help me with my wisdom to be able to defend his kingdom in this and shortly after stumbled upon Dr Lisle. It's no wonder I found him because of my internet searches for answers to astronomy questions and questions of science. I was hesitant to watch any videos on RUclips as I did not want to be misled by any wolves in sheep's clothing. Dr lisle certainly is not and I soon found this was actually a ministry and quite an amazing one helping so many people. I have cried watching some of his videos because he is definitely being led by the Holy Spirit. I was led also and so moved to see the hope for people like the bandana man. I was him at one time in my life and God found me and answered my desperate prayers. I soon found out he was always there. Dr. Lisle's work is the biggest breakthrough in ministry in my opinion that I have seen in my 52 years on earth. I only wish I had found him sooner. His talks have helped me and educated me in more than just science. It's his heart that has taught me the most.
I'm afraid the world is going to be getting a lot more hostile toward those who proclaim the gospel and call men to repentance. Pray for these men who go out and proclaim the gospel. It takes a lot of courage motivated by a love for the Christ and the gospel.

His patience is incredible. People often get wrong what love is. 1 Corinthians 13 describes it perfectly. And verse 6 is an aspect of love we overlook, “Does not rejoice in unrighteousness”. Warning your neighbor of the cliff is the most loving thing you can do for them. Showing someone their sin is what we are called to do. But they get defensive and claim it’s a way to control them. I pray for all the lost to repent. It hurts my heart that they view Christian’s as moral dictators. We are just sinners with a savior! We deserve hell but have been chosen for eternal life. I've had discussions with people like him many times. God has many attributes, but so many times people just want to focus on one or two of them. The only way to see him in a proper light is to see all of who he reveals himself to be. That can only be done through study and by taking all of Scripture into account.

Oh yes. Love. Lets talk about love. Would it be the "love" that ends in divorce? Would it be the "love" that leads to just sexual promiscuity and disease? Would it be the "love" of ones self that makes you the center of the world and foresakes all others? No. True love is love that tells you that your wrong when you are being distructive to yourself. True love lays its life down for others. True love offers hope and a better way without asking for anything in return but to just accept that love. So, ultimately love (true love) is what God offers, Christ taught and the Bible explains.

They should have called the Police and had that stoned AH in the white tee shirt and snot rag on his head taken to jail for "Public Intoxication" (Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 49.02). I think the funniest part about the whole thing is that the people getting upset are trying to present the idea that they believe in "righteous" things such as love, joy happiness etc are the thing they believe in, but by whos standards are we measuring this by? the guy shouting at Jason? Hitler? any random person? I think what dr.Lisle should have said was that the reason we see any laws put on us, is to show us that we believe in something greater than us, something that can actually uphold the laws. Dr Lisle along with everyone else in this world CANNOT up hold these laws. Pointing our need for salvation. But u cannot disprove a moral law giver (God), and claim in the same sentence that u believe in "good" things, because without a moral law giver, there isnt a moral law, and without moral law u dont even have good nor evil.
God doesn’t solve this problem. You can’t get an “ought” from an “is.” Say god tells us to do something (or his nature is some particular way); gods nature or his commands are objectively what they are but that says nothing about whether we ought do as god wishes. We need to objectively desire to obey; out of love or fear or whatever, to get to “ought.” All values are subjective; objective value and morality make no sense.
People use Religion as a tool to control and get what they want. Jesus never said religion is how you get to heaven, but people sometimes do, because they are people, Selfish sinners. Intellectuals with Phd's, scholars, always say, " religion, religious...... you seem like smart people, but I think you have deafened ears. I was eating out somewhere and I gave Thanks for my food and a man said, " oh, you're one of those religious guys" in a mocking voice. I asked him, what does religion have to do with me praying. He just waved his hand down several times, cursing.

Dr. Lisle was basically told that he would find happiness if he lets go of the "negativity" of Christianity. Once he stops dwelling on Christ and stops telling people the Gospel, wonderful new changes will creep into his life and love will flower in his soul. Peace can be found by rejecting Christianity. Basically, the guy was preaching his own gospel to counteract the Christian Gospel.
Jason is a kind man who is trying to share the gospel but the way is narrow and few it be that find it. Not everyone will be saved because there's an abundance of arrogance and a lack of humility.
Real science makes money because the theories are successful in application. Creationism, if true, even if applied, wouldn’t be able to be applied in any way to improve anything. Great, you believe the world was created. Now how do we go about actually improving the world around us and finding out about it? We have to do real science. And that is more work than preaching about it.

Oh yes. Love. Lets talk about love. Would it be the "love" that ends in divorce? Would it be the "love" that leads to just sexual promiscuity and disease? Would it be the "love" of ones self that makes you the center of the world and foresakes all others? No. True love is love that tells you that your wrong when you are being distructive to yourself. True love lays its life down for others. True love offers hope and a better way without asking for anything in return but to just accept that love. So, ultimately love (true love) is what God offers, Christ taught and the Bible explains.

I think the funniest part about the whole thing is that the people getting upset are trying to present the idea that they believe in "righteous" things such as love, joy happiness etc are the thing they believe in, but by whos standards are we measuring this by? the guy shouting at Jason? Hitler? any random person? I think what dr.Lisle should have said was that the reason we see any laws put on us, is to show us that we believe in something greater than us, something that can actually uphold the laws. Dr Lisle along with everyone else in this world CANNOT up hold these laws. Pointing our need for salvation. But u cannot disprove a moral law giver (God), and claim in the same sentence that u believe in "good" things, because without a moral law giver, there isnt a moral law, and without moral law u dont even have good nor evil.
God doesn’t solve this problem. You can’t get an “ought” from an “is.” Say god tells us to do something (or his nature is some particular way); gods nature or his commands are objectively what they are but that says nothing about whether we ought do as god wishes. We need to objectively desire to obey; out of love or fear or whatever, to get to “ought.” All values are subjective; objective value and morality make no sense.
People use Religion as a tool to control and get what they want. Jesus never said religion is how you get to heaven, but people sometimes do, because they are people, Selfish sinners. Intellectuals with Phd's, scholars, always say, " religion, religious...... you seem like smart people, but I think you have deafened ears. I was eating out somewhere and I gave Thanks for my food and a man said, " oh, you're one of those religious guys" in a mocking voice. I asked him, what does religion have to do with me praying. He just waved his hand down several times, cursing.

It's so easy to yell, curse, and just show your willingly ignorant behavior (2 Pet. 3) without having a logical, rational, calm discourse. It is so much more difficult to keep yourself calm and willing to take verbal and/or other abuse simply by proclaiming a message of hope. Well done, Dr. Lisle!
Dr. Lisle was basically told that he would find happiness if he lets go of the "negativity" of Christianity. Once he stops dwelling on Christ and stops telling people the Gospel, wonderful new changes will creep into his life and love will flower in his soul. Peace can be found by rejecting Christianity. Basically, the guy was preaching his own gospel to counteract the Christian Gospel.

Everyone would and does believe in God. Some just suppress their knowledge of Him because of their unrighteousness.
Jason is a kind man who is trying to share the gospel but the way is narrow and few it be that find it. Not everyone will be saved because there's an abundance of arrogance and a lack of humility.
Real science makes money because the theories are successful in application. Creationism, if true, even if applied, wouldn’t be able to be applied in any way to improve anything. Great, you believe the world was created. Now how do we go about actually improving the world around us and finding out about it? We have to do real science. And that is more work than preaching about it.
Lisle reminds me of one of those stereotypical Christian kids depicted in the old Chick tracts, where a Christian dressed in a polo or sweatervest debates a hippie about Evolution, in an attempt to make Christianity seem like an appealing faith, i.e. if you become a Christian, you'll be rich and successful like I appear to be.
That being said... Lisle lives in an apartment complex in Dallas.
