When I was a try hard edgy teenager I told my 9 year old niece I didn't really cared about her or anyone else, without batting an eye she looked at me and said "and no one cares that you don't care" I stopped with all the emo shit that same day.
The sandwich story reminded me of something that happened when I was in middle school. Once a week, for lunch hour, we got bussed over to a nearby park so we could eat outside. Anyway, some friends and I were sitting under a tree eating our lunch, when a bird shit on my head... and sandwich. As I cleaned and they laughed, one of my friends pointed out that getting shit on by a bird is considered good luck. I asked what a bird shitting in your sandwich was considered. Without missing a beat, another friend said "a metaphor for your life". That was over 20 years ago. Let's just say he wasn't wrong.
ok this one hurts me. For report day the teachers told our parents to come in class and they told our parents how we did in class. so the spanish teacher for no reason said shift your lip so i could see your face. i legit walked out of that class and left school for that. i ended up coming back home the next day.
oh man that "your teeth arent as white as they could be" insult made me think of an oneyplays vid where they were writing an AI story involving the nostalgia critic and they typed in something about critic's "eggnog teeth" glistening in the sunlight or something. that sht had me rollin edit: lol i googled "eggnog teeth" to see if i could find the exact quote and a picture of nostalgia critic smiling like a manic immediately popped up next to a glass of eggnog, and all i can say is the color comparison is way more accurate than is should be lmfao
Not an insult but a situation that insulted and physically caused pain to my ego ever since. I had to call my mom to pick me up after chess club but my phone died, so I asked a girl if I could borrow hers. She let me borrow it and after I used it and thanked her she said in complete earnest “No problem, it’s my first year here too!”. I saw her ID, she was a freshman... I was a Senior who just wasn’t wearing my ID. Nothing hurts more than someone being earnest and backfiring. I felt so awkward I just smiled and stood there a bit internally screaming.
