Use one or two small pieces of folded cardboard paper to hold the sides of the cover in place while putting it on the other side of the speaker. I am usually done putting on the cover in 15 seconds :)
Tip on putting on cover: Put your credit cards in as wedges to hold the cover in place as you go around!

Pro tip: use coins to hold the cover in place and slide the coin along the gap and viola you just installed your new cover without your friends!

after 30 mins i still could not put the cover back on and i gave up, the cover is still not on, months later!!! they need to somehow make it easier to fit!

Is it possible to multi room this with a Beolit 15? I'm struggling because the Beolit connects to the app via bluetooth.. and it only allows me to connect the A9 through wifi. Any help appreciated
BeoLit 15 isn't multi room. A9 MkII is but MkI is not. You could join M3, M5, A6, A9 MkII, BeoSound 1 / 2 / 35 / Moment / Core / Shape and any BeoVision TV from V1 and newer.
Hi John, what differences (upgrades) are there on the gen 2 from gen 1 and does the A8 and beosystem 3 support the maltyroom app?

The a9 mk2 has 480Watt compared to Beosound lesst then 200Watt and a much smaller subwoofer, so soundwise the A9 is far superior

You can compare it to the Beoplay S8? They are in the same class?
Dallos Szabolcs Excellent question. They have similar performance and use very similar drive units. The A9 has the advantage of being moveable only needing a mains cable and having built in music services and Bluetooth.
The S8 is static and requires cabling together, it also relies on a source like an audio system of some description or a TV. But it offers a better stereo separation thanks to 2 separate satellite speakers.
I would say your choice depends on what you would like to use it for rather than performance because they both sound excellent.
If you want a fuss free system that takes up less space for just music that can move easily if needed then A9 is your best bet.
If you are playing mutimedia sound from a TV or want a better 'sit down and listen properly' stereo experience with a connected audio system that will never move around then S8 all the way.

The connection hub has no wireless connection by it's self. If you want to use it for audio you could use BeoSound Essence (video on my channel) connected to BeoPlay S8.
The main job of the connection hub is to easily connect a non Bang & Olufsen TV to BeoPlay S8.

Marco Belloni yes there is. You need like a converter from your tv audio output to 3.5mm aux cable. Thats no prpblem i have it on my Samsung tv too.

Those are much like the Linn frameless grilles from their 90s speakers, they looked great once fitted and of course being frameless, had zero detrimental effect on sound... Bit of a bitch to fit right though.
Surely this construction can't provide much deep bass. So where's the sub woofer?
The built in 8" bass driver takes care of it. Bang & Olufsen are masters at getting huge sound from slim cabinets. I promise you, the bass response of A9 is very good indeed! John

Gareth Glover no, the Multi-Room products can't pair for stereo. You can link as many as you like together but they are stereo by themselves.

So how often do you plan on taking the cover off? Sure it's bad design but it doesn't really affect you in real world use.
You really never need to take it off and it’s not THAT difficult. I’ve only needed to take it off once and it took me about 3 minutes to get it back on. No big deal.

No, it's wireless :) but you can connect 2 of them together.

No , it's a stereo audio system. Not made for connecting to a TV
