Thank you very much for the mention and the unboxing. We are really happy with how the Mark II version has turned out, and I think basically all customer feedback from these last 3 months has been taken on board and incorporated into the new version. I hit pretty close to the mark with version 1 but there's nothing like getting your product into the hands of hundreds of working artists and listening to their feedback. It can be really scary to let people criticise your work, but if you're brave enough to take it on board, you always end up with a better product in the end. Funny you should mention Kaizen, I'm an avid fan of Lean Manufacturing, my workshop is littered with Kanban labels, and while it's difficult to quickly iterate when you're making a hardware product (at least compared to making software), due to lead times on parts and manufacturing, I iterate on my *process* a lot. I often make custom tools and jigs to make the assembly and testing process faster, and that's a big part of why we were able to drop the price by 20 pounds on the new model.... and now that I think about it, I should probably do a video on all of this at some point 🙂 Thank you - and keep making awesome content!
What a show could be made, 4 greats , Jenn B, Laura-Beth, Adam Sutherland and Alice Allen, discussing their work and demonstrating the process of collaboration and exploration that typifies their work but is rarely seen.
Christian...you mentioned Kaizen....W. Edwards Deming was a big believer in Kaizen. You might enjoy this classic book of his which in back in print..."Out of the Crisis"...and Deming himself is a fascinating person...I learned of him when I was getting my MBA decades ago. Reading his book(s) was better that a lot of the highfalutin nonsense I had to read for some of my courses....BTW - I love The Crow Hill plugins I have......already have some ideas for a couple new films I might be composing for...(wish I had them when I scored my last film...but it was before you had started the company....)....Keep up the good work!
Having now seen the offerings of The Crow Hill Company from its inception, it's become obvious to me which Spitfire products were either created, or at least HEAVILY influenced by Christian Henson. He's taken them one, two, and more GIANT LEAPS beyond those products to create some truly inspirational, and game changing libraries. Here's to you and the entire gang at TCHC! Cheers!
Thanks for having me! It was so nice to spend some time at Crow Hill HQ.
Awesome lyrics…got me in the gut ✨
That was a beautiful piece and a soulful performance.
A beautiful performance. Will be humming that all day now.
Sonorous vocals and a heartfelt performance. Thanks for sharing.
Ye nailed it, as usual 💪

Excellent news about the High School. They had the Shallow Grave wrap-party there, I think.
Brill Jenn, lovely version of that classic.
Great use of the word Rufescent... Winning in Words :)

This is brilliant, but when is the John Shuttleworth interview?
Oh... and don't put a microphone in the middle of the persons head you are interviewing :)
If you're hot, why not turn off all those synths you're not actually using...
