I wanted to post here that while I was in love with the vibe of this soundtrack from the moment go, this stage is when I fell head over heels for this ost. The fact that the intro includes a snippet of the boss's stage in it? Pure genius!

AAA games: They just slap together whatever song is popular in the Top 10 charts on Spotify or whatever, get the rights to use said songs for like 4 years, put it in the game and call it a soundtrack. (which only lasts 4 years so after that the game gets an update and is now silent) Indie games: They get an actual music video game composer to make music for the game which is 100% original.
Man, for me this seems like a good example on how to make a good video game theme, cause I am interested in creating or collaborating with some friends in video game making in the future. And this really makes me more excited in doing it and giving me some cool ideas. So thanks in advance
I love the fact that Cable's stage is the easiest one, like it was meant to be played first, which was the case for me. Since you're most likely to pick him first after the encounter in the first stage. That's brilliant game design

AAA developers are too busy making "live service" garbage and bleeding their customers to make actual good games.
it's rare to find AA games with catchy music nowadays tho, they prefer to go for more ambient or cinematic tracks, except maybe for nintendo games
