These are newer sirens. I remember the old siren with the red light on it near the zoo. We would wade out to the middle of the river and striper fish. My dad taught me to always mark the water line on the big rock we were fishing on just in case the alarm didnt work

these are in west vancouver
the other DSAs are at the Saluda Riverwalk but the first siren looked like a Whelen WS-2000-16 but it’s actually the Whelen shaped FS DSA.
Correction : *7 DSA’s (that i know of). They installed a new one at the Lower saluda shoals boat launch
