Excellent tips, I learned a new way to load my quilt. May I ask, where did you purchase your leader grips? Thank you for the tutorial.

I’m so glad it helped. I purchased my leader grips at a show. You can find them at leadergrips.com.

Thank you! Good demonstration! Do you ever baste a quilt on the Amara for your stationary machine?

Thank you!!! I have done that but tend to do smaller projects now on the stationary longarm, so I typically pin baste or spray baste.

Hi Jane. Was wondering when using the leader grips does your machine ever hit the grip when quilting the top or bottom border? I too have an amara and got red snappers for my bday but am having a hard time getting accustom to them because my machine bumps into them at the edge .
Found your videos and am enjoying the tips & tricks. Thanks

If my backing fabric isn’t long enough then sometimes I do run into them. I try to just be observant of where they are when I’m quilting. Sometimes I’ll put a yardstick under the side clamps which will help raise that up some. Thanks for watching!!!
