this is the only use ai *should* have in the art world. it should be a reference for a vague idea you had, or a point of inspiration for something; it should NOT be the end piece.
Yeah, sometimes I tend to 'steal' (if you can say that I guess) the characters AI makes and make em my own. (not that I post it haha, just in my freetime.) They just seem so lifeless to me if no real person made them, something like that. Plus it's fun!! Making something is fun, and it should be always!!
I love this aspect of AI when it's used as inspiration. Your interpretation of it is much better (and sensical). I think your piece look amazing. I struggle with ideas when drawing so I may use AI in a similar fashion.
Thank you! And yes I feel thisnis the only way it can be used in a constructive way. But also this is a way to fight back and show the machine what real artists can do. Thanks for watching

i love how you drew her and how you improved the ai! your version is way easier to read than the ai version! and the proportions in your version is so good!
The AI bros hate when you redraw generations. I redraw generations myself, and it appears as though redraws are quite popular, and more and more of a growing trend.
The AI art isn't even good. If it was good you could at least use it as reference but most of it just looks awful. Search engines really need an AI filter.
AI doesn't steal art tho... the drama surrounding AI stealing art starts because stable diffusion add a feature that allow you to add direct reference, so long as you didn't use the feature the AI is drawing on it's own. long explanation below: AI art works by remembering check point on what they're supposed to make, the AI will start by diffusing(hence the name) pixelated color into the blank canvas until they managed to check everything on their list. using the feature, however, change this process that is by changing the blank canvas into the image given. the AI will then start diffusing the pre-given image until it check it's list. this creates better artwork(at least better in human eyes, as far as the AI knows it's around the same quality as any other) in the cost of straight up tracing
it's also the reason why AI art doesn't stands up to human. because it's not really made for human, it's made for the AI, it's made solely for their standards. to other AI image detector it looks perfectly like what it wants to make

Totally agree! This process really helped me during a logo design.
Is not the fault of AI. Is AI bros and non artists. They are the problem

Yeah, I think you have some good points. Just wish people wouldn’t use it for nerfarious purposes and that ai art doesn’t steal real art
@@ladyaetherquit totally agree.
Ai is good for references. But people using it as actual art? It’s no longer okay to use. This looks really good! Keep going well, lol.
ur so real for literally everything u js said

I used AI just now to look up refs and even those aren't great T.T We gotta fight back!
This needs to be a series! Love this ❤
i've thought about doing more - but worry i'll be milking it too much lol
@@brittnidraws i wouldn't worry about that as much cause this is good content.
@@spooky_pumpkin_666 bet - expect more then lol
@@brittnidraws ai art milks artists all the time! this content is good and i love seeing people do ai character redesigns, so why not milk ai back? :O

this is awesome and underrated
Thank you
your art is gorgeous

Nice art, but isn't it still problematic to use AI to generate this reference to "fix" because it's still stealing from other artists?
