@@andrewinoregon I love the video of him literally flying over the piste! Super great filming. And he's one of the prettiest guys of his breed. Greetings from Germany xo
So wonderful you can relive these moments any time. The beauty of the landscape is breath taking and a fantastic way to witness it enjoying the elements while skiing with man's best friend; his dog.
You have a Husky named Freya?! My childhood dog was a female husky named Freya, she was super sweet and the reason I love the breed. She died at 16 years old (I was the same age back then) to illness related to old age, but I hope she lived a happy life.
Reminds me of MTB owner sharing the thrill of a run with his dog pacing him. I can relate somewhat as a teen, my terrier mut would run along with me as I rode my motorcycle for miles and miles along the river.
I had a Red Siberian Husky female named Murphey for 14 years. She had the same diamond mask. She died a few years ago. I got a 1 year 3 month old male Husky named Max 2 years ago with the same mask. Red Huskies rule!!!
Beautiful cinematography!! We live in Bend, OR with our two huskies. What I want to know is how do you make him stay with you? Ours would just keep running and never look back 🤣
First try out cross county skiing with a bungee lead and harnesses. Fun way to ski for free and have your dogs pull. In the off season we do lots of off leash hiking running on obscure trails with minimal traffic. He’s learned that way to not get too far ahead. If you do go skiing, go somewhere you are the only skiers. That’s my dogs downfall. He will chase another skier if he sees them. So we only will go on touring trips or ski from Palmer to government camp before or after the resort is running lifts.
@@andrewinoregon wow, well done! Looks high quality and certainly would have thought a drone was involved. Well Done. 👏 hope to see more videos of you and your sweet pup ripping!
i live in Oregon 😊 i haven't had the chance to visit mount hood mountain yet though I've lived here my whole life i just don't have anyone to go with if i go visit mount hood mountain
Hi Zack, I actually am a videographer based in Portland. Contact me through fireside.media or find me on instagram (Fireside.video or fireside.media for weddings)
Omg, will you give me advice on how to capture clips like this? What camera do you use? I assume it requires two people? The other on holding the camera too while skiing?
Gopro hero 9 and an insta360 x3. Both great action cameras. If it's your first camera, I'd recommend starting with a simple gopro hero 9. The x3 is easier to scratch/break in my opinion. Also, many of these shots had my friends skiing while I'll held the camera. Hope that helps!
Possibly the happiest husky in the world! ❤❤❤
I hope he is!

Have a great winter together!!

The best husky video ever!
Thanks!
This video is making me emotional 🥹 one day me and my husky will experience this too!
OMG This is amazing 🥰
Thanks!
Awesome!
Why this video only has 4.6k views instead of millions
Thanks man! If this breaks 100k I'll definitely be making a sequel from this winter's adventures with Obi. 😀
im sure the dog is having a blast! looks incredibly fun :)
Awesome! If you're gonna be a dog musher, you have to yell, "Hike!.....Hike!!" when being pulled.
I still miss very much the husky I had long ago.
What a majestic friend.
Love my red.......beautiful pup, beautiful vid!
Thanks!!
Amazing video ❤
Thank you!!

Love your dog bro! I recently adopted an Alaskan Husky and can’t wait to try this in winter with her 🔥🔥

I was going to say the same thing. My guy would definitely keep going lol

Hi friend, I run a dog beach and hotel in Korea.Your movie is awesome!!!. Please keep making good videos..
Thank you!
Not exactly cross country skiing because of the lockdown heels but pretty fantastic alpine environment for y’all. Hound is having a blast
I enjoy downhill/ski touring and xc skiing with Obi. Xc skiing doesn’t have a locked in heel and is much slower but we still enjoy that! 1:17
You should totally start working on training for ski season now!! I love to work on the skijor pulling harness with biking and running. Enjoy!
That dog can rip! How fun!
Was this mostly filmed with a go pro? Did you use a drone too? The videography is good!
Mostly gopro and a few insta360 shots. Thanks!!

Go visit timberline lodge this spring! It is worth it even if to just sip coffee and read a book in the lodge. I love the atmosphere up there!
@@andrewinoregon thank you for the recommendation I appreciate it ☺️ do you think that we could become friends ?
How does the dog remain on top of the snow?
It all depends on the snowpack. Most times we go, there are just a few inches of fresh snow. Deep snow is fun too, he just wont go as fast.
watching this I just wondered - who is holding the camera? maybe taken with a drone?
There are multiple friends that skied with us. I’m holding a gopro in most shots. The Insta360 is on a few shots too! 😊
What's the best way to get in contact with you regarding a film project?
