Every domestically has its difficulties but you know where most things will get their results and where they could drop points. In UCL nothing is ever set in stone or assumed because that’s the champions league, it’s unpredictability makes it amazing and even massive teams could even go to the final lose to the smallest team in the competition
Real Madrid lost to Sheriff at home and now are in the finals.

You’re forgetting one hugee factor though. It’s also harder to win the champions league as you have to first do well enough the season before to actually qualify for it. Meaning you have to do well for 2 seasons in order to win the champions league, as opposed to just having 1 good season like Leicester had

In the premier league you have to be consistent playing 38 games you have to play everyone twice so there's no escaping of playing the big teams where as in the champions league you can get an easy run all the way to the final without playing anyone good because your team was lucky with the draws

Champions league is harder because of the different teams, and the stress. Also, no one cares if you win the pl, so even if its easier to win CL its still a bigger accomplishment than Pl. Imagine you were a pro footballer and you tell your kids "I won 5 UCLs" versus "I won 5 Premiere Leagues" Which one would they be more surprised at? Champions League

CL is about key moments and you can avoid top sides to make it to the final.

PL is nothing like what it used to be you cannot drop points anymore and you have to play at an elite level almost perfect and consistently hit 90+ points to win each season. That is insane.

It depends on how you see the difficulty; The UCL is like a Track and Field race, you put in all your effort from the beginning, making sure you don't slip up, or make a mistake, because even the slightest of those things could see you out of the competition. Leagues, (and i used "Leagues" because this logic doesn't only apply to the EPL), is more like a marathon, you have to be consistent, and hope your opponents are not as consistent, there are rooms for mistakes, and slip ups, but you have to make sure not to make too many, and really kick into full gear at the end if you're battling with other teams for the title...
So the UCL is short, or at least shorter, but almost always difficult, hectic, almost no room for mistakes, and you have to be precise; while leagues are long, it is more lenient in regards to it can give room for mistakes, but you have to have consistency if you want to win it...
Now, on which is more prestigious, that's not even a question; to even get into the UCL, you have to have done well in your league the previous season, the UCL is an exclusive competition for the elites of Europe, the winners are literally the Kings of Europe, and the last time i checked, being Kings of Europe(football wise) triumphs over being Kings of a country in Europe.

    • @luthfan9395
      @luthfan9395 2 месяца назад

you said "So the UCL is short, or at least shorter, but almost always difficult, hectic, almost no room for mistakes, and you have to be precise; while leagues are long, it is more lenient in regards to it can give room for mistakes,"
then i will say "in other hands if your club have no mistake at all in UCL with beat ALL CLUB from top 4 or top 5 who qualify to champions league from 13 games UCL then you will guarantee win UCL (we all know ucl have total games for 13x until final) but in premier league even if you have no mistake at all against ALL top 5 or top 6 elite level club like mancity, manutd, arsenal, spurs, liverpool and chelsea which your club will play for 12 games then you still not guarantee win EPL that is happened to arsenal in 23/24 season who unbeaten against top 6 elite club level for 12 games home and away but still cannot win EPL", so winning EPL more harder than UCL also drawing UCL can make you get easily route go to semi final or final especially if your club get draw against club from farmer league like real madrid meet roma in round of 16 and meet wolfsburg in quater final.

Highlights ignore it but if you actually watch the game benzema was offside to rodrygos first goal and they fouled the shit outta city playsrs to win the ball back. Same with the chelsea game and Alonso’s goal. Then we go to barcas game and the only reason they failed to beat Roma and liverpool was mentality. Over confidence against Roma and underestimating them and liverpool they were away in a different country with no fans anfield is a very alive stadium and fans effect the game. They also didn’t make proper changes, lots of little things even the smallest matter and will effect the game. Also with Barca they depended on messi way to much same with Neymar and it’s an 11 v 11 not a 1 v 11 right? Search up a video bro, it’s called the tragedy of fc messi. It won’t explain everything but it’ll help you understand why they lost so many matches and bottled a lead

U can win the UCL in 7 games the EPL goes for 10 months. UCL is based on luck depends what draw u get. The EPL is about consistency. In UCL u don't need to be the best team in ur league but u can still win the UCL. For example in 2000 Madrid finish 6th in La Liga but they won UCL cuz they got the easy draw to get to the final. Same with Liverpool 05 and Chelsea 2012 both finished 5th but won the UCL cuz of easy draw going to the final.
In EPL u can claim to be the best in the league considering u played every team home and away for 38 games. In UCL u don't play everybody u only play what's given to u. There's more weight being EPL champions vs being champions of UCL. Plus the prize money winning the EPL is far way more money winning the UCL

Madrid 2000 Chelsea 2012 and Liverpool 2005 got an easy draw to the final?!!!!!
Madrid played united,Bayern and Valencia in the knockouts in 2000 and Valencia was one of the best teams in Spain in that era
Liverpool played juventus,Chelsea and Milan in the knockouts
Chelsea played Barcelona and Bayern in the knockouts . Those were 2 of the the 3 best teams that season
None of these teams had easy routes and your argument doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t mean because you did poorly in the league and win the UCL the UCL is easier to win
You can be the best team and still not win the UCL that’s how difficult it is to win it why do you think there are hardly any teams with more UCLs than league titles.
I get it you can be inconsistent and still win the UCL but in the knockouts you need to be consistent and at your best level at almost every minute so there is an element of consistency needed in UCL and you need to be mentality monsters and need to be able to adapt well.

It is possible to win the Champions league and the Premier league with just a 0% win rate. If every match ends in a draw in the Premier league all 380 all teams will end with 38 points and also a 0% win rate. The team with the highest goals scored will win, so it is possible to win the entire Premier league without winning a single match.
In the Champions league the biggest possible loss rate for a winning team is 53.8% (7/13) which can only happen if a team loses 1 of the legs of every knockout match and then loses 4 matches of the group stages strategically and wins the other 2 by a bigger goal difference to finish 2nd behind a team who gets 18 points, winning by goaç difference. This is incredibly unlikely to happen since a single unwanted draw would make the strategy fail.
It is also possible to win the Champions league with a 0% win rate by either drawing every match and hope to go through in the group stages or lose 2 matches against the same team in the groups and draw the rest which is even more unlikely to happen.

In another video I read a comment that stated the following " Champions League is harder, ask Manchester City, they have won the PL several times in the last couple of years but not the CL".
I partially agree with that comment, but there are other factors to it.
In 2018 when Guardiola won his first PL title with City, Liverpool also got to the CL final, losing to Madrid.
Liverpool finished that PL season on 4th place (75 pts.) 25 points behind City (100 pts.)
The next year, in 2019. Man City won the PL title just one point (98 pts.) above Liverpool (97 pts.). That same year Liverpool got to the CL final winning against Tottenham whom finished the PL in 4th place (71 pts.).
Right up until this point neither Liverpool nor Tottenham had previously won the PL.
In 2020 COVID happened and Liverpool was able to win the PL with 99 points but wasn't able to reach the Championship League Final. Man City finished that season Iin second with 81 points, and also wasn't able to reach the CL final.
In 2021, there was once again an English CL final. Chelsea vs Man City, the first City CL final under Guardiola, they finished that PL season on 1st place with 86 points to a fourth place premier league team, Chelsea with 67 points.
Chelsea went onto win the CL final that year.
In 2022, Liverpool got to CL final with 92 points in the PL , once again they lost the league just one point behind Man City with 93 points. Liverpool lose the final against Madrid, once again.
This facts are just since Guardiola joined Man City in 2016. In the 2016 - 2017 PL season Chelsea won the league but did not compete in that edition on the CL.
For English teams it is either the Premier League or the Champions League, it is more likely for PL 2nd places and 4th places to reach the CL final and win it rather than winning the actual league.
That's what I think, but I agree to disagree

Actually it is not necessary 3 games to need to win in champions league you could win the champions league without winning any game in group stage if every game in your group is a draw and you score most goals and draw every knockout game and win every knockout round by penalty shout-out and draw final and win final by penalty shout-out you could win with 0% win rate in primer league too if every game of season was a draw and you scored the most goals the champions league is harder to win than primer league because champions league is from teams all across Europe while primer league is teams all across England

This is so simple and Pep said it as well as Ferguson and Mou.
The league, you win it only if your team is the most consistent in 38 games. In fact being consistent for that long is the most difficult.
The CL or any other cup tournament, you have a bad day or night, and it is over.
Nothing has to do with the teams on it. Come one, Crystal Palace or Southampton, Norigin (whatever it is) will be better than Real Madrid, Bayer PSG, not even Atletico. No way, you got about 4 strongs teams and about other 4 or 6 more good, ok teams in the EPL and that's it.
Start thinking and analyzing people, at least once in you life.
