    Isn't cavitation a problem with this design or for all pumps with liquid and vacuum?

      Weirdly enough, no, or atleast shockingly little, where i work we have several of these, a few of them have been runing for around 250 days a year without any problems, atleast for 2 and a half year, and i have no idea how old they are as ive only worked there for 2 and a half year

      @@fjs1111 When its mentioned yeah, i agree as cavitation can be a huge problem, im far from an expert or engineer, but i guess the design have a lot to say in this case as it can suck air in wich negates the cavitation, while a normal centrifugal pump doesnt have the luxury to alleviate the vacuum that appears wich leads to cavitation in side the pump

      If you can control the water temperature and keep it cool enough it shouldn't be an issue. Where i work we actively cool the system water to around 15 degrees Celsius and we rarely get cavitation.
