Chaeryeong was on Kpop Star 3, Sixteen (show that formed twice) and Finding Stray Kidz ep1 (with Yeji, Ryujin, and Yuna). Chaeryeong's sister Chaeyeon (who is a year older but they look a like) was also on Kpop star 3 with her and on Sixteen and then she left JYPe and went to WM and was on Produce 48 and joined IZONE. So that is why she looks familiar to you. The Lee sisters (also known as ChaeSIS) are the most talented siblings in kpop today.

I discovered Itzy because of Just Dance -- Wannabe is one of the songs in one of the newer releases, and has two choreos. But I am aware of Dalla Dalla and Cake as well. I think starting the MV with the doll with how the accompaniment starts (even though Jenny doesn't like those dolls) is GENIUS tbf! I actually like that the MV for Wannabe seems to use an extended mix of the song, and actually I wouldn't mind if that was just the standard version of the song, cause having the instrumental section be a bit longer makes the song sound even better in my opinion. I agree with you, Jenny, on 'Cake', cause I remember hearing the song on TikTok first, and being like: it's okay, but it's not super memorable, and some of the structural parts of the song seemed quite mashup-ee. But watching with you both and paying attention to the lyrics, I definitely agree that the lyrics redeem the song, and make me appreciate it a little more! "It's that snarky comment you make with a smile." That is the perfect description! I definitely agree with JD's interpretation too, and it's interesting that the conveyor belts are a recurring theme, both in Dalla Dalla and in Cake -- I don't think I noticed it in Wannabe. But it's interesting because of that idea of spitting something out of a factory, or being interpreted -- perhaps by the industry, or by those looking outsiders looking in -- that because they're a Kpop Girl Group that they're 'the same'. Dalla in Korean means different, so from that Debut song, they are telling us as listeners: we ARE different! Almost like: yes we've been a part of the system, but we have our own mark to make on the industry. I like that!
Ryujin (the Girl in the bathroom with blue Hair) in that Scene i think the scribbling on the Walls are hate comments and she ignores them and is Dancing and Feeling Herself instead hehe Love the different interpretations of all the scenes tho❤

@@muhammadsyamim2437 It was not an audition. It was a trainee showcase. They only featured the Boys vs Girls because the clip would be used in the Survival show, but it was a full showcase with all the trainees from the company performing.

The girls team 2 from the stray kids survival show featured 4 members of ITZY. Chaeryeong, Yeji, Ryujin, Yuna. The girls team 2 was a 7-member project trainee group, not 5 members. It also featured Mashiro who would leave JYP the next year and go on to Girls planet 999 and debut in Kep1er. Yejin, became an actress. Sumin left jype and kpop. The other 4 members of girls team 2 are in ITZY. ONLY Lia did not appear in the Stray Kids show because she had only joined JYPe a few months prior and was not ready. So please when you do "fun facts" Make sure you actually have the facts.

You clearly skipped the beginning of the video. Maybe watch the whole thing before you judge. As said in the video, JD has chosen these songs because she knows them, and thought I would like them. I also say that I have heard Wannabe several times at kpop girl group club nights.
