I had the same experience as them, walked all the big features. I can't emphasize this enough, it is far steeper and the features are bigger than they look on camera. The wide angle of the Gopro really flattens everything. This was especially true at the first big one around 3 minutes. It looked like I was about to ride off the roof of a house.
I love the fact that you show rides beyond your limits - It sets the example for MTB'ers - stretch your limits, while at the same time working within your limits. It's better to walk a feature, rather than hurt yourself! Everybody wants to ride again tomorrow, right??? Thanks for the great videos.
It hurts my brain when people associate failure with getting off your bike and walking a feature. FM is a janky steep trail with lots of exposure. You successfully completed it!

Its always best to know when you’re beat by a feature. I have been scared of this one rock drop for months and am finally able to do it after many walks.
Eric seems to have done a "Heartilage" on this entire trip, haha, normally seems like he shreds everything! confidence has caught the bus and left him lol
@@VanGirlYuka yep I think we are all guilty of that at times, over thinking things can restrict us I know ive done it with gap jumps both on the MTB and Moto X bike. Really enjoy watching both you rs and Eric's videos . Love how you take on some of those sections and drops! Kudos to you Yuka! so awesome!

Don't care what anybody thinks that would of been a long walk for me I'm big enough to know when I'm out of my depth not afraid of heights just got shit balance well done the pair of you
@Matthew: That was actually what surprisingly improved my riding the most over the last years as i specifically put more focus on it: *slow riding!* Not going fast and battling the terrain as i thought before. Being able to stop and get off in a controlled manner if needed, track stand a bit to make decisions, balance and some hopping. Eye-opening!
The risk/reward for this trail isn't worth it to me. I'd be walking many of the sections. I'm glad I haven't gone here. Yuka takes her crashes in stride, very tough mentally.

Another nice video! I think that trail is good if you have some bike trial skills , but i'm sure without clip pedals you will clear all the hard parts

I've had to walk many features I knew I could ride but got stopped by a sketchy entry, this trail looks like every entry is sketchy!
It's not that long ride but it takes a long time!!
The desert is hard! No soft landing when you crash and everything is always so loose! This is my life haha!
