I had covid for the first time in August while visiting grandkids in Fargo. We got well enough in a few days to drive home (2 day drive) to Idaho. Feel for you, glad you have turned the corner to better.

My absolute FAVORITE YARN/EVERY SINGLE ITEM they have store!❤ I get to go twice a year...the lady that runs it feels like an old friend..love her .and I know I am going to drop a significant amount of $$ when I go (I save in between trips) The first skein you held up withe light..I instantly thought,,,ok, the scraps will be used for doll hair for my granddaughters...so I MUST go to her site as soon as I finish this video. I pray you feel better very soon!!❤

I just checked my map app and Hawaii Bazaar is 6.1 miles (15 mins) from Michigan Fine Yarns. I lived in Plymouth for about 20 years until I relocated to East Lansing in 2020. Michigan Fine Yarns was originally located in downtown Plymouth before moving to Livonia. I still try to visit MFY annually (when I get my physical since I kept my dr in Plymouth because she’s known me since 1999) and now I will need to add another shop to my itinerary. Oh, and IKEA in Canton is the another place I try to get to also. Get better soon!

She had cried when she got home because the bullies were calling her Barney. I’m paraphrasing, but that was the gist for her aversion to purple for most of her life. So you are not alone in reclaiming the color ☺️👍🏽 I say wear it if you like it and sod(UK English being used here) anyone that has anything to say about it 💯👏🏽

I just got some in from her and she likes to dye is both ways too.... letting the base shine with smaller amounts of color and also sometimes saturates her colors all over the bases! I love this yarn you showed today... headed to check her out now.

My mother lived for pastels and she always tried to push me towards pastels and when left to my own devices, I love intense, saturated color like you seem to. Just steer me away from yellow shades!!! (It makes me look ill)
