- We have made it a tradition that while George is away on safari, we spend a day at my in-laws house. They live 15 minutes away so we love walking over and spending time with them.
Our September safari guests are having an amazing time here in Kenya so far! George is doing a great job of guiding them around the game parks and sites.

That’s what many people recommend me for I always make good cabbage
I love how well behaved your kids are . Those mulberries and the other fruit that you pick grow so massive in Greece .we had a blast eating them . people who never had them they don't know what they are missing .
The yellow fruit that London was picking are called loquats.
And in kikuyu rungaci.😂

Hey family, actually, some cows can find their way home . Grandma made me smile. These kids love their Grandma
That’s so cool. We were surprised to see it on its own! 😂
@Mekenzeinkenya I can imagine, the cow knew where it was going because it has formed a routine.
Love the way you expose your children to everything and importantly their grandparents!!😊
I love watching your videos, i sure would like to walk with you on that long walk, looks like very enjoyable. I live in Alberta Canada , about 2 hours from Northwest Territories border.
You are great . I love the way you've learnt our meru greeting.
It reminds me how we visited our grand parent over school holidays.the memories are Soo good and never fade away
You are so right about cabbage. I try to cook it to taste like the one in Kenya but somehow i am missing something then i checked youtube. "Cabbage recipie in Kenya" and cabbage came out lovely. You can also add grated carrots as part of the cooking. Carrots too have their sweetness so it adds flavor to cabbage
It is so good to raise the kids with both grand parent they are so blessed to have the grand in both families❤❤
The children will never forget this village experience.
Thanks for sharing that experience. I just love how calm the villages are. And the live fences & trees, lovely. I'm happy for you lot to have that as your daily experience!!! The yellow fruits are called Lukwarts, and they're so yummy and fan to eat as a kid. Asante na kwaheri
Good to see that you are ok now. Didn't realise how far it was from your place to your inlaws' till today.
Jambo MeKenze🥰. I just love your vlogs♥️. What a lovely walk and visit to Juju’s homestead! It reminded me of my childhood. We did not own a car and our neighborhood was similar to the village. We walked everywhere!!! There were shortcuts (paths) through neighbors yards, overgrown areas and vacant lots. The fruit trees, plants, flowers and foliage are so similar to what is native in Florida. The tree that Londyn picked fruit from is a Loquat Japanese Plum. I had several in my yard years ago. And yes that was a Mulberry tree. They grow huge but sometimes snakes crawl up them! 🙃. The meal looked really tasty. I love how everyone greets each other, that is now a thing of the pass here in the US. You and George made the greatest decision by choosing to live and raise your family in the village!!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful day with us! Blessings💜🥰🙏🏾🌹🙋🏾♀️
♥️♥️♥️

Back then, I and the whole neighborhood boys we used to spend all the weekend in late August and September drifting from one tree to the next in the village checking which one has the sweetest loquat. The only problem was teeth sensitivity later on 😅😅

The impact nvironmental change can be reflected in Meru county and its invirons. Before the 90s there used to be ever green
It’s still very green in Meru.. we are in the part where it’s more dry.. as it’s closer to Isiolo climate.
