- PhD is Doctorate of Philosophy in a particular subject. Unfortunately many PhD aspirants are unaware of the untold struggle ahead of PhD and they drain out all their energies working for the PhD only. Lets talk about the problem as well as solution to this problem prevailing in India.
Hey there! Nice to know your perspective. I completely agree that Ph.D. duration is extremely fluctuating from case to case. The academic job market is also quite dangerous. I'm doing my Ph.D. in France, and it is not super good even here in Europe.
However, I've also seen if students give sufficient time in doing postdocs, mostly they do get into faculty positions in Europe. For India, it is still highly competitive.
Regarding many comments about Ph.D.s from IIT/NITs, I would say that for a Ph.D, the institution rarely matters (it does only in some cases). Mostly, the supervisor and the lab is of paramount importance. During my masters in India, I've seen the Ph.D. process in IISc/JNCASR/ICTS, and I can say not everyone is very happy with their institutions.
Hopefully, the Indian government will try to put more focus into education, though I don't see anyone in the cabinet interested to do so.
Suggestion : Aapko video recording se pehle script likhni chahiye kya kya bolna chahiye !

Maine bhi course work kr k chhoda qki mere samne PhD kiye huye sir - mam 10hzar ki job k liye yahan wahan ghum rhe the..1seat k liye 50 logo ne apply kiya hua tha.
Some are NET masters and some PH.D. masters , two different faculties..can't be both ideally, we try to mix them like oil and water...😂
wow nicely explained
Thank You so much. Will try to do more informative and better
Didi i need some guides from uu,plzz🥺 ,actually i belongs to middle class family,i m msc zoology student now i m confused what to do nxt bcz after qualifying csir net ,there are still politics low vaccancy, but my family need money, will i join bed or govt jobs...
B Ed will take another 2 years. Take a private sector job and start preparing for govt job if you desperately need financial independence. If it is possible for you to wait for 2 years then complete your B.Ed prepare for CTET and then you can become a teacher.
Good topic. Government unfocused topic
ARE U DOING PHD
Baat yh h ki phd better upcs kitayaari karo😅
I have done done phd from iit, net jrf qualify in pg, ug and pg from good central university and i am still jobless, for university u should have good contact. I am giving advice, dont do phd, prepare for ssc, banking, or some job preparation after MSc
I was going to elaborate giving this kind of example only. Dark reality part-2 will contain something on this. How to approach to any govt job and switch from PhD. Many people are spending 7-8 years after which they are left with very little energy to pursue something else.
@@AnweshawithDhananjay my age is 32 and at this age , I found it difficult to prepare government exam.Thing is different when I was in MSc.. Motivation, confidence is at the lowest level
Agreed. When age limit is crossed opportunities are less. Many categories have age relaxation. But for general its 32.
REALLY NIKHIL JI
Sorry to say brother, but if you focuses only on money than don't pursue PhD. But if you are interested in hard core research work, than you will definitely go for PhD.
LIGHT SIDE BHI BTA DENA
mam kya technical phd (after m.tech.) k liye bhi ye sari baate valid hai ?
Yes. Valid for all.
I am from the North East....Assam
Phd life sciences at ILS bhubaneswar will it be good to apply phd there
Its good if you want research after that. Otherwise a lot of years will be spent there. Its a research Institute.
I am thinking of doing mtech after msc physics
Is this a good option??
From Job perspective yes.. But when it comes to MTech, Institute and subject matters because of placement. So Mtech is a good option but good Institute matters.
@@AnweshawithDhananjay from iit/nit ??
Good option or not
Yes Mtech from there is Good option
I am totally not fever Ph.D opportunities given to the students who have completed 4 years of degree. Atleast Master must be according to me
Yes. Thats also a problem.
Didi NET quality ke baad kuch nahi kar sakta kiya like govt kuch jobs offer nahi karti
Stay tuned to the channel. A dedicated video on NET is coming with pros and cons
Apke dth hu matlab sab ke sth eki ek cheez ka do phelu hota hai...all nagative nahi baat kar shakte ho app
Couldn't understand anything 😂
Ma'am please makes vidoe about jrf student going for PHD . What are a pros and cons. Please.
Sure stay tuned.. Video coming shortly
College ne prdhne k lye only NET QUALIFIED KAFI HONA CHAYE PHD INSERVICE KARNA CHAYE
Competition itna zyada hai ki ab only NET se nahi hota. Job kum hai aur log zyada hai. API score PhD se 30 marks se badh jata hai
Isliye main net set qualify karne ki baad bhi PhD nahi kar rhi😞 job prep le rhi. Job lag jayegi tab phd kar lungi. Csc to west bengal me nhi hoti hain thik se. And with out phd job pane ka chance nhi hain.@@AnweshawithDhananjay
Good one !!!
Thanks ✌️

Good decision to left phd
I also left phd from IIT Delhi.
Net qualified hone pr bhi job nhi h teaching experience and PHD mangte h
Only qualifying NET doesn't give assurance of getting a job.
