Dear Cris! You had gave me back my faith in the tech RUclipsrs! I think you are the most authentic person who told an opinion about the Apple as a company so far. You had not used negative or positive markers which is the minimum what a independent person (or RUclipsr) have to do, I think! Thank you for the video!
I just made "the" shift. Not because i hate iPhone, BUT because the fact that Apple is the only company on earth to release a brand new phone with 60 hrz screen, only 5 gb for iCloud to start with. I simply think this is SO crazy. And i wont support this business type. I currently go with the regular s24. And yes it is with exynos but it is wildly fast. I bought the Galaxy Watch 6 classic, the fluidity of the watch is a little laggy, this must Samsung fix, otherwise i am so happy with my switch. And later this year Apple will be forced to support RCS, welcome Apple to the new decade 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I say this all the time. How does anyone get away with selling old outdated technology for new technology prices. 60hz refresh rate there is absolutely no excuse to have that in 2024 none. I'm talking to all you Apple fanboys. Wait is Apple trying to save the environment with 60hz refresh rate? Oh wait the quality is better? No most of their hardware is Samsung...
I don’t mind the Samsung phones and watches. And I think the Buds Pro are usually great. But I get into trouble with the larger picture. I just can’t find a good/stable enough replacement for my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. The Samsung laptops seem nice. But they still run windows.
5 months late, but glad I saw this video. Your example with the health bands is perfect, and it goes the same for earbuds, computer mouse, music services etc. This stuff is rarely mentioned in reviews of apple products. It's not enough that you bought their phone, you have to get everything thing else from them. Apple, the friendliest Jerks.
a galaxy tablet, seriously has one big benefit, dex. a feature ipads have been craving, is on a android tablet, and now android can emulate computer software
I agree with the security aspect.. my friends think apple is the only brand safe & secure and buy their stuff... But if they understand the tech, they will never talk the way they do. So it's useless to talk to people who are less knowledgeable than us.. i just ignore them
to be totally honest, there really isn't much of an alternative for privacy. Google isn't a consumer oriented company. Android serves two purposes. Data collection (google's business model) and public perception of what google is (brand image). If you use google photos, all of your photos have been scanned and processed by ai. We don't know what they've used that data for or what they will use it for. Your data is also passed along to other organisations. Google knows so much about us and shares a lot of user data with others without being required to tell us by law.
I switched to iPhone about 5 1/2 years ago. I had switched to a Mac 3 years before that as I'd had it with Microsoft. Since the switch, I've really enjoyed the integration. I could care less about green/blue bubbles or customization. My gear just needs to do what I want it to do. My current mac is the Mac mini and the Mac Book Air. Both of the M1 variety and they work flawlessly. I have an Apple watch and a 14 Pro Max. All work fine for me though, I'd like to see Apple concentrate more on stability with iOS. Should I decide to switch back to an Android, and the S24 Ultra was VERY tempting, I'll do it without hesitation. We DO have a choice. One just needs to weigh the plusses and negatives and go with whatever you decide and don't look back.
Keep these great videos coming. I honestly don't care if people want to be Apple lover's. What I don't like is when these Apple fanboys start spreading misinformation about Android and Apple. Of course their misinformation is in favor of Apple. Thanks Cris for being willing to pull back the curtain and expose the truth.
I am absolutely loving your content, Cris!! Your raw authenticity shines through your videos and I'm so thankful to have come across your channel. Could you please make a video about using the Samsung s24 U (or android in general) with a MacBook!!? I'd love to view your user experience using an android phone with an apple computer--productivity, work flow, photos, videos, editing, etc. I am upgrading to the s24 U from an iPhone but use a MacBook and would love to see how the experience is for you :) Thank you so much !!
Yep, I tried that in reverse.... went from android to iphone for about a month- first week I almost threw the phone across the house a few times! Had to call tech support a number of times to figure something simple out. Even my transfer of contacts did not go smoothly and I had to manually input contacts that for some reason did not transfer over. Gladly went back to android and simplicity and control of use.
When switching from apple to android your just going from imessage/face time to google messages/google meets which work exactly the same my girl has a iphone we just use google meets to video call i don't see the big deal people have with switching and if anybody tell you apple just works which is a lie because ive had both ecosystems and apple has the same bugs let be honest
Your ios/android/apple/samsung videos were brought to my attention by RUclips at just the right time 🙏 I have lots of Samsung products in my home including fridge and washing m/c, and the fold 4 I am using now. My boys have iphone minis, and ipads, I have a TabS too. I can't believe how restrictive ios is, and I now never reach for the ipad. I use a Mac mini as my desktop with a Samsung 32" smart tv/monitor, as I love Apple photos App. I added Google drive to my Mac, which is how I get my Android photos from my Samsung Fold. Having some issues with the Fold4(hinge), so am considering the Ultra, and even an iphone, but I dont think I can accept the ios straightjacket! btw did you know you could add Google Drive ti Mac Finder? Thanks for your videos 🙏

Actually that privacy feature in which you ask apps not to track you is not as private as they advertise. The only thing it does is not associating your ID to the activity they track which can be done in android too but it's something as extreme as they claim, I've seen this in cyber security channels which explain this. One thing that still definitely works better on iphone is that many apps have less bugs and work smoother and Google should work with developers to fix that. Did you know that for example tik tok doesn't have a dark mode for Android meanwhile it's been available for iphone for many years already? Outrageous
I use yt vanced, aeroinsta and if there's something i need in tik tok or another app there's probably a mod that gives it to me. Oh and U are forgetting something , if an android app has a bug that effects u, u can uninstall the buggy version and install the previous one that worked just fine. On ios u can't do that because there's no Sideloading, If an app is buggy u have to wait for the next update and it may not even get fixed on that. Remember the overheating? It took more than 1 week to get fixed. Where u could just use some older insta version. Downloading and installing it in 2 clicks.
Nobody is keeping in or locked into one ecosystem. It’s just my preference after being all over the place. Apple ecosystem is just right for me best of my experiences with Google & Microsoft.
Apple's OS is no longer the smooth bug free experience. There are many bugs and they all lack behind in terms of useful features that other operating systems have implemented years ago. For me I haved Apple phones and computers but I only use them as secondary use cases for specific app (like FCP for example) or my iPhone for video (Android lacks in this respect) but if I am presented with an option to keep only one Windows or Mac, Android or iOS, I'll definitely pick Windows and Android.
Clearly, the best ecosystem I have ever tried in my life. It's not a matter of being stuck in it; it's simply the best. However, Windows remains unbeatable for video games, and as someone who used to play a lot, I still have my big Windows tower that I upgrade regularly. In this regard, Windows is unmatched. And honestly, it doesn't bother me at all. I've been used to Windows since I was a kid.
The best ecosystem? Apple has around 10 devices in ecosystem. Samsung has a little under a 100 not counting compatibility with Microsoft, Google and Android.
@@Anamae5451 So, for you, the best ecosystem consists of just a number of different items. Without considering the rest, it’s still surprising as an argument. And I should also mention that I am disabled, so I’ve tried plenty of Android phones: Honor Magic 6 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and the Samsung Galaxy S24. None of them come close to iPhones in those areas. It's not a matter of being a fanboy; it's just what I’ve noticed. Even simple functions like voice commands, which I use a lot due to my disability, allow me to write quickly, almost without mistakes, and to many different people just by speaking and without tiring my hands. I tried Google Gboard on Android phones, and when it worked, it was indeed far superior to the Apple keyboard in terms of quality. But I never managed to get it working on Android except for the Pixel 8 Pro. At least with Apple, everything is reliable; it never fails you, and it’s far from the complicated menus of Samsung.
@@Anamae5451 I think his point is that, there could be hundreds of potential devices for an ecosystem, but usually nobody actually buys all one hundred devices. People will often buy one or two apple devices and then buy the 8 or 9 other devices to complete their ecosystem since its both visually attainable and brings immediate large practical benefits, although at a huge expense of nearly their entire wallet. Also sometimes the huge clutter of devices is actually one of the downfalls of other companies "ecosystems". its easy to navigate the apple ecosystem precisely because they have the bare minimum number of devices for each product category. Just walking into an apple store you can see their entire product ecosystem laid out on just two tables and a few wall facades. This is part of where the illusion of "simplicity" comes in, the illusion that apple users have come to know and love (or hate).
Great content. Iphones are a great product. I can't stand apple. They control your phone on making it your own. Unless, of course, you pay the monthly subscription. And then you're still limited on how much freedom they'll let you have.
iPad OS sucks and they are charging MacBook 💻 Pro prices with terrible iPad Os it’s just a glorified RUclips video machine. I’m currently planning my escape from Apple. Samsung is my next move. Apple is the Scientology of Technology 😅
