  • Castle Gardens is an amazingly beautiful hidden gem in northern Wyoming. Tucked away down a long gravel road just west of the Bighorn Mountains, Castle Gardens offers a surprising landscape just waiting to be discovered.
We camped near Castle Gardens a couple of years ago, but didn't make it to the site. Since we had been curious ever since, we took advantage of being in the area to see what Castle Gardens was all about.

Thank you for acknowledging the handiwork of our Lord in your video, I appreciate seeing that. It adds to the peace that seeing those amazing places you've filmed instills. These are the kind of videos I like watching in the evening after I've worked all day and I'm trying to relax. Blessings to you and Melanie! 😀

What a beautiful spot. Those rock formations in the distance are also intriguing. Beautiful sunset.

We had planned to do a bit of hiking there to explore more, but the thunderstorm that was blowing in made us reconsider. Hopefully we have a chance to make it back again sooner rather than later.

I loved the scenery! What a beautiful spot! And that moon was amazing! Thank you for sharing!

That darn blue moon came up right behind the one storm cloud in the sky so we couldn't see it come over the horizon. It was still seeing it come out from behind the cloud with lightning flashing in the cloud though!

Hello Mel and Robert! Good to see you two having fun and in some beautiful country. I would like to hike down the top of that formation one of these days. Val and I have been getting the itch to get back out West for a winter. Heading out to take a look at a trailer today and the truck is getting towed into the mechanic with a dead fuel pump. Safe journeys!

We were hoping to do a bit of hiking while we were there, but the thunderstorm that was blowing in changed our minds. The spot where we planned to camp wasn't much of a road and had zero "improvements" so we wanted to get parked before the rain came just in case things turned messy. I hope all goes well with the truck repairs!

@@RobertWitham Truck: dead lift pump, $400 for the pump, 1972 Mercury outboard: carb and fuel pump (ever try to find a carb kit for 56 yo outboard? Got it. $70), and of course the lawn mower had to join the party and the head gasket let go with the best smoke show ever. Sooo- it's a bit of an entropy storm here! Oh yeah, then there was the matter of the longhorn tick debacle. Still itching! Still looking for a trailer, but this is ground zero for trailer manufacturing and a lot of used ones on the market. I'm about ready to trade my mechanic tools for a fishing pole!

There are 2 kinds of Blue Moons . . . a seasonal Blue Moon and a monthly Blue Moon.
The more modern definition is when there are 2 full moons in one month. The next one being in May 2026.
The older definition is the third full moon in a season which has four full moons. The next seasonal Blue Moon will be May 20, 2027.
Because the Month of February has only 28 or 29 days it can't have a Blue Moon, but if February has no full moon - the months of January and March each have Blue Moons. This is known as Double Blue Moon and the next one will be in 2037. This happens only 3 to 5 times in a century.
And all this depends on where you are - time zones and date line.

I used 30oz tumbler to thermal cook. 3 cold eggs worked best 2 hours perfect. I used insulated cover All. RUBBER band an arm ½ lowered the Tumblr in added a shirt to seal it in . Easy to peel eggs. Man the egg prices are our of sight. Used a foam insulation for houses for lid . It did great job insulating. I use tumbler bcuz they're found used $2 ea. I got a 20oz 50¢ yard sale. You can get this stuff lower than they pd for taxes.
