I enjoyed the video a lot, Vera. Really impressive to see what's being done there. I was curious how this is being done. Is Enugu wealthier than other states? Smart management of resources? Heavy borrowing? Public/ private partnerships for development? All of these?
Thanks for dropping by!
Enugu isn’t really wealthier than other states. Most of the works being done are supported by smart management and allocations, as well as Public-private partnerships.
@@Chiefvera Thanks, Vera, sounds like a sustainable arrangement. I also enjoyed the drone shots and hearing from the local people there. Great video! 👍😊
It’s amazing how the Enugu region is transforming right before our eyes! At this rate, the dream of foreigners pouring in and investing in the area and its people will come sooner than later. Thank you, Chief Vera, for documenting the gradual growth for posterity!
Yea…investment and investors are already looking this way.
I hope you enjoyed the video?
@@Chiefvera ...but of course 🥰

I remembered dreading this Owo road, while dropping my friend who school at osisatech then. It was very bad.
Happy to see it taking a new look and sharp.
Gov Mbah is trying.
Wow.
I have never been there until this video and this testimony shows that he really did a thing there.
Let’s hope he extends this to other communities as well, for a rounded state.
Our governor is really trying we love him,

Hi vera, how are you , you will pay me by going to my place with out telling me , the man make some mistake, the local goverment chairman build the road ten years ago, buy name sam iyiogwe, but before that ten year ago it was very bad, and peter did the entrance one before becoming governor
Hahaha
How much do you want ?
You will not pay again becos you are my sister , I will later welcome you again ,
Now you’re talking
Is this not abuse of power using state resources to develop where a governor comes from and leave the capital in rickety state. Just be honest, does the urban areas you see today pleasant to the eyes ? hell no. Its fact Peter mbah resurfaced some roads but there are many bad roads in need of urgent attention. He asserted very laud he want to make enugu a tourist destination, looking at the dilapidated environment I wonder whether he has ever travelled to Europe or america to see how society is suppose to be.
Resurfaced few roads is not enough to attract tourist, rather well kept environment and organised activities of the people.
There is no road in the enugu you can't find petty traders selling something or carry out trades. This behaviour is a sign of disorganised society, it doesn't give good impression to outsiders let alone to attract tourist from europ and america whose money is essential to boost economy of the state.
Rwanda a population of 14 million has shown that it can boost it GDP and lift standard of living of it people through tourism despite it turbulent recent history. Also demonstrate that beautiful and organise city is created by human not by saint. So, why enugu content with the current rickety environment instead of learn from Rwanda to create beautiful and organise society which can make the state rich and uplift it people from poverty.
The ball is in the Peter mbah court to choose either reality or illusion.
No, I don’t think so.
From the video, you could tell that the community had been abandoned and he’s came to restore some civility to them.
He’s working in some areas within the urban areas. It’d be disingenuous to say that’s he’s left the state in rickety condition to focus on his native county home.
What we can demand for, is for him to do more and also pay attention to other rural communities. He’s been promising when it comes to infrastructural development, can he do more ?? Yes he can.
Thanks for stopping by
Enugu is just a very backward state
And you're from??
