Mr. Peter Mbah is a creative thinker and highly cerebral. He is different from the mediocre norm...he is a modern digital business minded leader and very simple and humane at that. Chief Vera, Enugu seems to have such a rich history, very worthy of preservation and you present it all with such professionalism! The digital museum looks cutting edge and gives us all a walk from Enugu’s present to a future vision and reality. I loved how this museum merged entertainment with knowledge of Enugu but agree that it may be time for some of your seasoned leaders to begin ceding some authority to the younger generation.
Thank you for this very interesting tour. The scope of this is impressive. From those historic masks and artifacts ( I love those) to the dazzling digital displays, this look like a first class museum. I'm guessing foreigners might have trouble getting access and since I'm 6000 miles away and couldn't afford to get to Enugu, it doesn't matter. Still, this looks amazing!
@@ChiefveraSorry to be slow to reply, but stuff happens. To answer your question, definitely yes. Most of what I know about Enugu comes from your always interesting videos. Thank you for the work you do!! 👍

WOW this is wonderful! This present governor is God's sent to elevate Enugu state to her rightful position. I'm following his projects with such delight, and amazement. By God's grace when he is finished, our dear state will be in the top tier as a model place to live, work, and raise children. May God continue to bless, protect, and guide him as he successfully showcases the pride of Igbo land to the world! I'm so hopeful, and in awe. I can't wait to visit in the nearest future. God willing
Very creative innovation by the present Governor. Lovely place to visit and learn. Whats the procedure for access to the digital museum? Or is entry restricted to foreign investors?
Well Vera, my first thought is, wow!! I'm amazed by the volume of artifacts and information available. My guess is it would take weeks to view all the digital info available. Too bad there isn't some way to open it to the public without risking a lot of expensive high tech equipment. Thanks for the video and tour, I really did enjoy this!!!👍❤
@@Chiefvera I would love to see something like that either for free or maybe access by a reasonable membership fee. The only ones I've seen online are still photos of physical artifacts, but there maybe some that offer short videos of various exhibits. Problem is that it might be time consuming and expensive to set up. That's usually the biggest roadblock.
l was going to praise the meuseum until l heard you can only get in when you get the governor's approval. What? Thanks for your compliment. About the museum, it’s not necessarily the governor’s approval that is needed, but some official that is resident or works in the state house. As you can’t get into the state house without an appointment. But I understand your concerns.
I wish he would address his forgery of the NYSC certificate to build trust in him as the standup guy he's portrying himself as. We don't want to hear 'embezzlement and non accountability of funds' when his tenure is over.
Ngwo is a town, Nkanu is a Geopolitical Zone, so the comparison doesn't matchup. It is's Ngwo that is copying Nkanu Culture. Most part of Enugu Metropolis is in Nkanu land. That's why the culture we practice in Enugu city, is Nkanu Culture. From The dancing style, the Ogene music, the masquerades are Nkanu Culture. You can't see Nsukka masquerade in Obiagu or anywhere near Enugu. Ngwo and Udi Masquerades only appear at Coal Camp bcs that's their Geopolitical Zone. Those days,,Obiagu boys will still go to Coal Camp to look for trouble😂. Only Ngwo shares same culture with Nkanu people. From dance, music and masquerade it's 100% the same. Awgu and Aninri also share similar culture with Nkanu. Don't get confused about Adamma, that masquerade is actually from Nkanu. Those days, it's also known as Ada Nkanu
How can ikoro have been around only for 19th century. I beg to differ. More research should be done to come up with a good timing. Ikoro and oja is as old as igbo people itself
I agree-keeping such a project private would be a missed opportunity. Developing it as a tourist center would not only enlighten a larger population but also generate revenue. It’s worth pushing for its public accessibility. Thanks for watching!
Pls watch you tone...it's too rough. Though you have a good point that I quite agree with but have you considered that they might have made it private in the governor's residence in other to ensure its safety, maintenance and continuity or maybe the designed it to only entertain top visitors.
@@fran6david114 When one expresses one's opinion in this country it will become watch your tone? My tone my choice. Very valid point- about risking high tech equipment. I guess, that’s why it’s kept in such manner.
