Good looking heli and nicely designed. If possible to demo how canopy gets in and out. OMP seems to have made it easy, but most canopies are a pain to get on and off. Good job with the vid, as usual !
I love that frame! This is a well thought machine and great design choices overall. I do think to be fair and objective, some reasonable remarks to improve cable management called for. I am disappointed they offered little room for your RX and I dont think the cables weaving in/out along the frame and around servos will be too pleasant to plan out. Maybe do a 180 on the Ikon to get the servo wires to come from the inside would have been a viable choice. I will be looking forward to part 4 if even just a quick min or two to showcase the wiring plan you choose. PS. I found these awesome fiber shrink wrap cable runs on Amazon. They dont do 1:3 ratio like the rubber shrink tubes...its 1:2 ratio but they look so much cleaner and uniform. Id check them out if you haven't already come across them.
I agree, I thought the provided wiring channel could be improved, not much room. And rx and antenna placement took some messing around because of how the canopy closes in back. I used a sab vertical antenna mount.
It is a very well designed and thought out machine. Just like many other helicopters, the wiring is pretty much the same as say, XL power, goosky, align, etc.. they are wire pretty much the same way. Now I see why they don’t make a tray that’s longer because the canopy will hit for mounting your RX. But depending on what your using will depend on the setup. OMP designed it around Vbar, fly dragon, Spirit that all have built in RX. So that Paracord stuff is basically what it is, I’ve got a bunch of it in the drawer. The reason I use heat strength over everything is because I can mold my wires. Where that wire sheeting will yes protect but not as good as heat shrink also you can’t form the wires. you have to use zip ties and I’m not personally a big fan of zip ties lol
Amazing work Jeff as always. I can't wait to fly it. Thanks again for making this happen. Looking forward to the maiden.
Nice job, Jeff! LOVE my M7!!

My M7 combo just arrived today.
Awesome! Enjoy the build!

What size shrink wrap are you using on servo wires on most of your builds? @@westhobbiesrc8051
i think if u hand him a screw, he wil without even thinking, put loctite on the screw! love your videos man! keep them comming!😎
lol your right! As long as it does not go into a lock nut! Thank you! I greatly appreciate it!
Beatiful heli, Jeff 👍
Thank you! It’s a beautiful helicopter!
Awesome Jeff, truly looks great. Brilliant detailed video as always. Happy and safe flying buddy 👌
Thanks buddy! I greatly appreciate that!
HI Jeff great build 👍stan from Connecticut will be emailing you for an antenna holder for my ilgoblin holder thank you
Hi Stan, awesome! Send me a email.is it a ILgoblin Pro or RAW?
Incredible machining and engineering quality compared to my old trex550
Oh yeah! Machining, fit, fit, and finish, quality, etc. has all changed drastically over the years.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 trex 450 size was so small that bearings would develop excessive lashing after only 30min of flight.
What heli is better, this or the goosky rs7🤔
MY RAW
Okay cool!
the way of tail servo mount is weird
It is! Definitely different.
