As a white person ive never thougnt of the term "proud to be white". Ive only ever thought i am proud to be American. I only started hearing the term proud to be white in recent years when we started feeling like we were being attacked for being white. Tom did an interview recently where he said he wanted to get out of the political rap and move more towards hip-hop, but when Adam approached him asking to do an album together, he said he would only do it if he went harder than he ever has before in his rap. CORRECTION: He did NOT say he wanted to get OUT of the political rap. He mentioned that he was gonna chill with that for a while because hes got other ideas that he wants to pursue musically. He mentions "when was the last time we made a song like "I wish" etc..." He will never stop bringing the message he has, no matter how its labeled.

I grew up in the late 60’s and early 70’s in a bi-racial family. (White Dad and Black Mom) We were never accepted by anyone. Whites did not like us cause we were 1/2 black, blacks didn’t like us cause we were 1/2 white. My parents were always looked down on by almost everyone that never gave us a chance to know us for who we were… not for what we were. During the 90’s things started to get better. By 2000’s we were finally accepted because by then many other families were the same. ( although typically it was a black father and a white mom). Now the 2020’s it almost seems we are back tracking. Keep on keeping on brother. Mad respect and peace my man. Awesome critique!!

This group is not just a support group but we do transformative not restorative youth justice, critical thinking and research-* we use a talking stick and every child has a voice -* no interruptions are allowed! My two White kids have allies now and the bullying has slowed right down! I contacted the school and they told me, : “ We have a no bullying policy “ so I find it hard to believe that anyone is picking on them “ ! I responded with a letter and pictures of the bruises these children wore! Mom is a single parent living in a mostly black neighborhood and was warned that if her children were not at school CPS would or could be involved and this is how these 2 children were referred to me! I am very happy to have them and advocate for them! They are Irish and Italian and until I had them in our group the racism issue was not really a topic of conversation but now it is! I have 11 children in my group and all but 2 attend this “ Liberal “ school! ExDem here and that is bc I am a classical Liberal and there is no place for me on the left! Independent here and the Left/Right politicians are 2 sides of the same coin so I am going to support Trump bc he really is an old time classical liberal! It took a lot of research and swallowing some pride-filled thoughts to come to this conclusion!

Couple of things I wanted to hit on. #1 The hook did fall short, but the message was well received. #2 The best way for me to get to know you is if you talk, meaning I can listen to the song on my own and do not need to watch someone else listening to a song. Your break downs and personal insight is why I come to this channel. Your correct on many things. #3 I grew up listening to metal and country and only had limited exposure to hip hop and rap. I became a fan of Tom's about 2 or 3 years ago. Then I learned about Adam. Together they brought your channel into my feed. All because I did exactly what you were mentioning, I was getting out of my comfort zone and listening and learning. #4 that is a bad ass t shirt you got on lol.
I would love to see a full album of them just killing it. as much as I love EM and NF I'm starting to love TOM and ADAM and what they speak on is much deeper than what EM and NF speak on and I hope they keep punishing strong because they are on to something big and it's just nice to hear things like this being put out there because I feel this way 100%

I never felt pride because of my skin, it’s always been proud to be American. United we stand-that’s what I was taught. You are 100% correct that discussions need to happen, but how do we get those who put the wall up to listen? I'm a white man, spend time in predominantly black neighborhoods. I was always taught to show everyone respect, until disrespected. I don't care about the color of your skin. I care about the temperament of your character. That's is my only way of judging someone. How do they treat others. If you're good to others I have no problem standing beside you, or covering your back in times of need. Regardless of skin color. We as a species need to stop focusing on the colors of skin, and only focus on the character of a person. Crappy people come in all colors. We need to focus all of our energy on being better to our fellow humans. Everyone has their opinions, but we shouldn't be ready to go to war with someone, because they disagree. I'm not proud about how America had slavery but I'm proud that we ended it in the shortest amount of time compared to every other country (Africa and countries in the middle east still have traditional slavery, im not talking about prostitution slavery which is still unfortunately in most countries). in less than 100 years we "America" ended slavery in America which happened before Portugal and most of Europe stopped participating in it.

Literally the only actual political tracks are the singles they've released. There's 15 songs on the album that means there are 11 more tracks and most of them are "talk yo shit" music.

Stevie, I just found your channel today, and this is only the 2nd reaction I have seen of yours so far, but I'm so grateful I did.
I believe it is so important for ALL of us to come to the table with ears to hear, eyes to see, wisdom to understand, and open hearts to genuinely love one another. We have everything to gain if we do.
I for one, am sick of the governments, elites, policymakers, school boards, and corporations devising courses of actions that target this group or that group, making it unbearable for ordinary citizens just to try to live life, and then pitting us against each other to keep us divided and keep us hating our fellow man, or woman, for their political gain.
We've all been through some shit. We all hurt and have hurt, but I'm done letting people that don't have our best interests at heart, try to brain wash me, trying to tell me who to hate and for what reasons, trying to make me I a victim, or an oppressor in situations I never had I choice in.
My choice is to trust God, love my brothers and Sisters in Christ, and allow God to direct my life for his glory.
Even if one doesn't believe in God, what does one have to lose by working to become a better person than who they were yesterday.

His music on You Tube is often times political but his albums aren't. Tom makes music for every one not just one demographic. He reaches old people like me , younger people and even the youngest kids and people of all nationality's. I've bought 12 of Tom's album and love them all. Tom is all about the message and isn't afraid to offend to catch peoples attention. I've also heard many reactors say they didn't like Tom and then they actually listened to him and now they love him. Flawd was one of them. LOL Your singing along with the hook is exactly why Tom makes his hooks like that so people will get it stuck in their heads and make them think about the whole song and message. Tom has grown alot and he told us in a live that he thought about stopping rapping for a while, (I'm so glad he didn't) . Tom is growing in his Artistry but its always gonna be what HE wants to do and it should be like that otherwise he would just be another cut out of another cut out of a rapper. I also see alot of growth in you Stevie and its good to see. Hopefully were all growing into better more accepting people. I enjoyed your reaction today.

I agree that Tom's audience is obviously here for his messages, but their support has and will continue to spread the word farther. I have been encouraged to see a lot of young reactors waking up simply because they listened to his lyrics and that in turn will create conversations with others their age. The repetition is needed to reach more of them because there is still a lot of crazy going in the world. Stop and talk all you want Stevie....that is the conversation we need. I feel like people either love or hate Tom's hooks. I personally love most of them and find they play on repeat in my head even when I'm not listening to the songs. Maybe that will help pull more people in to hear the full messages? But everyone has their own taste. 🙂

I found you because of Tom, and I love hearing your perspective. Tom appeals to so many people who never really listened to much rap before, because there are a lot of mumble rappers and more who just rap about crime, drugs, money, etc. I'm a lyrics lover and want to hear from artists that have something REAL to say...and since I stumbled upon Tom, I've listened to much much more rap and there are some real frickin' lyrics GENIUSES in rap. I couldn't LOVE IT more. Tom was wanting his msgs out...annunciating the words so 'all' people knew what he was saying, not just seasoned rap fans...and in turn...other rappers got fans who never would have ever heard them. IIt's great stuff.
